We know that Satan is a created being and did not exist in "the beginning" mentioned in Gen.1:1. The first act of God "in the beginning" was the creation of the heaven and the earth (Gen.1:1). But we see Satan appearing suddenly on the scene in Genesis 3:1. So he must have been created by God at sometime between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 3:1. God does not create anything evil. So Satan must have been perfect originally. God never creates anything imperfect, or in evolutionary!
