For all of you who are dumping on the mom, do you even know what life is like in Guatemala? A lot of people there don't even have running water or electricity. The economy sucks. Most people earn less than five dollars a day. How are you going to provide complex medical care for two kids in that situation? What if she doesn't have a wheelchair adaptable van to get them to doctor and therapy appointments? What if the buses there don't have wheelchair lifts? It probably tore her heart into pieces to leave those boys. I pray that she is living close enough to the care center so that she can visit regularly. I'll bet she cries every night, hoping that she did the right thing for them.

She’s only cares about herself and saw an “ out” and took it. She’s disgusting!!!! You only wanna think what you said when clearly she only cared about herself! Re watch it and see for your self before you go hating on me ! I would NEVER EVER leave my twins and would sleep in the street if I had to !
Yeah specially as the boys now have brain damage and likely will be in wheelchair, how will a poor woman be able to take care two disabled boys with brain damage and in wheelchair, doubt where she lives that it's even accessible for wheelchairs, people are ridiculous. The boys would be stuck in home, not able to get any therapy and likely die.

It didn’t say she gave them up because she couldn’t afford medical bills. These surgeries were performed free of cost. Many families have special needs children and they don’t abandon them! It’s heartbreaking 💔
Exactly !!! She kept saying at the beginning how hard it was for her. Everything was about her !! She left them. Abandoned them ! I hope she NEVER gets to hear how they are doing ! She is disgusting

It just broke my heart for all those medical people to have spent more than a couple of years of their lives trying to figure this out, practicing and practicing, laying awake at night thinking about it, knowing one wrong move could end it all in seconds, and still not knowing if the end result would be what they had worked so hard for. we have twins one of each, but if we had twins connected together, as their father I would honestly let them go so they can be healthy and happy unlike how they would be if they were here. It's honestly cruel to me
I found this story to be rather sad instead of inspiring. The doctors were unbelievably committed and that was awesome, but ultimately the kids were left with minimal functioning and living in a group home without family. I feel like they may have had a happier life conjoined.
They were already suffering unequal blood flow which was impacting their internal organs. Knowing that, I wouldn’t want to be the one to decide what’s best.
Not a group home. But like a rehabilitation center with medical staff to help them regain what they lost and to get them healthy again. If mom didn't come back into their lives I'm sure once they are totally recovered they will have a home. I can understand it being to much for her having 2 needing so much at that point. Any child at that point would have minimal functionality but it's not permanent they are still healing.
I am so happy there are doctors in the world that are so talented and giving! Whatever life these boys will have, it’s so much better than what they had!

Honestly I'm actually afraid that they have brain damage now, which would make their lives much more difficult than conjoined because then they could at least study and make their own choices even if they would need help. That was amazing on all kinds of levels - first for the technical competence of the medical team. Those brain drawings were incredible from the doctor. It weirdly made me think of my kind of very complex legal work - all kinds of elements you have to juggle to get it right. Then there are the moral issues - the fact they may have died without surgery left few choices and they were joined in such a cruel way by the head - although had they been able to live joined perhaps to give them both brain damage for life (IF that is so) may not be worth the separation had they been able to live joined - I certainly had very complex thoughts watching them at the end. The moral issue of whether the immense cost and resources is worth it for those 2 when in a few minutes a mother could conceive another child. The skills science and the doctors gain of course may be able to be used again and again. Anyway good luck to everyone involved...
Incredible, but with God's help and the tireless effort and expertise of the medical team, it was possible. These kids have been through a lot and have more to go through. I hope they can live a normal life.

They are the SPECIAL FORCES HOSPITAL MISSION PROFESSIONALS! BRAVO to all the healthcare people in the world.Thank you GOD for giving us people like this.
Excellent job! They both had the best teams taking care of them.
we have twins one of each, but if we had twins connected together, as their father I would honestly let them go so they can be healthy and happy unlike how they would be if they were here. It's honestly cruel to me
I found this story to be rather sad instead of inspiring. The doctors were unbelievably committed and that was awesome, but ultimately the kids were left with minimal functioning and living in a group home without family. I feel like they may have had a happier life conjoined.
We like to think separation is the logical and easy choice. This as a reminder that, like any choice in life, itit is not.
@@dankification must you cuss? No they don't I know what catatonic looks like. They may of looked funny to you but they had brain surgery that's a serious thing and takes a long time to recover from.
It's beautiful story I never seen team like that. They gave new life for this boys. God will help them to heal 🙏
Amazing documentary.
Marvelous team. Blessings to all involved. ❤ I would love to see them and how they are today. Aug. 2023
So proud of the work DCH is doing
Amazing and inspirational! Thank you for sharing this!
Wonderful! Dayton Children's has come a long way since the Barney's I grew up with.
Little Miracles ❤
I can't wait to hear about the great things these boys will do in the future
What do you think they’ll be able to do?
They just got abandoned by their mother and left at an institution! We probably won’t ever hear what great things they could do if they were with their family and not with strangers. So very sad.
Honestly I'm actually afraid that they have brain damage now, which would make their lives much more difficult than conjoined because then they could at least study and make their own choices even if they would need help. Now they will be in wheelchair and probably need constant care rest of their lives (if they don't get better).
Just saw this incredible operation, made me emotionel. So how would it be for the parents ❤❤❤
My heart hurts so much for you. Know that you and your family remain in my prayers. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Can’t believe the mother left them! After saying how each one cries for her when she sees the other!! So many charities that would have helped her!
I pray that the Lord continues to inspire this team of doctors to change lives love you guys ❤
These doctors but, mainly, heroes!!!
Huh? What does your comment mean?
We love Dayton Children's and have spent many hours there in the surgery department!
"they tood me i could have my stapler"
A casual 'Office Space' joke.. that was hilarious.
Seeing the doctor's hand drawn imaging is awesome too.
This was amazing to watch!
Amazing job to the whole team!
Does the mom still see them?
I do hope the mom is given the boys back after they are totally healed
Or bring the parents/family here to be near them.
Wow! All to those who was in on this God bless what you did was amazing and a miracle for the twins rank God for helping everyone along!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m so sorry for the misfortune of the twins and their family. However, I’m thankful that by the great Grace and Miracle of God, the operation was successful. Hopefully, they will have a happy and healthy recovery going forward. I wish them a good life, in spite of possible challenges. 😊
Blessings - Reklamation Ministries 😊
God bless everyone involved in the surgery, and care for the beautiful boys. God bless the boys with a complete recovery and no permanent damage. God bless all the team who did this wonderful job, God guided their hands.
This is incredible and ill say if you're sensitive to seeing blood, and mental health i say watch with caution and possible trigger, and or triggers warning from me, having mental health stuff and I want to make sure all areas aspects are covered. Yw. ❤ love watching trauma life in the E.R.
There is a censored version of this story.
Wonderful ending to an incredible story. So thankful to all of the medical team for what you were able to do. God Bless all of you. The boys seem so haappy!
Good good job thank you for the wonderfull sweethearts❤
I never thought that art can go hand in hand with surgery.

Wow just wow. Just when you think you couldn’t you did.
Glory be to God. Thank you Lord for being with the doctor's and staff to perform such a miraculous procedure ❤
This is Awesome God is definitely a miracle worker Dayton Children’s Team Is The Best❗️ And im also honored to have had Dr. Patel do my back surgery I was in all when I heard his name💙
AWE
It has nothing to do with God. Cos god does not exist he is not a live human being it'd the skills of the doctors and only those people
It's not about you and your back this about these children
In all? Lol……we don’t care about your surgery!
Why so nasty to @ronasiafletcher420,She was just saying how nice it was to see her doctor involved,BE kind the world is becoming a very nasty place. Some of the comments are horrible, just be happy that the outcome was great and they have the best of care.❤❤
Wow congrats, may God bless you and give you more knowledge in Jesus name Amen
Quelle difficile mais nécessaire épreuve à passer. ☺️😔🥰
Невозможное стало возможным. Great Jobs 👍.
God is amazing! The hearts of the medical staff is palatable. I will pray for this family for the rest of my life. I know the wonders of this hospital because of what they were able to do for my cousin. Thank God for Children's Hospital. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Heroes❤
Bendiciones para los doctores 😇🙏
SPEECHLESS. ❤
Why is it not worth it for those little boy's, they deserve to be treated justice anyone else that needs the help.😢❤
I'm so sad that the kids lost their family 😢..
Как же эти дети дальше будут жить и развиваться? Я думаю, им будет нелегко. Бог им в помощь.
Grandios !!
Absolutely Beautiful!!!!!
Incredible, but with God's help and the tireless effort and expertise of the medical team, it was possible. These kids have been through a lot and have more to go through. I hope they can live a normal life.
@leo_2266 I believe it was science and also God and you go ahead and believe in science or whatever else you want to believe. But, why don't you say the same thing to the other commenters who mentioned God as you did to me instead of singling me out.
@@patm01my problem with God is, why would he allow conjoined twins in the first place? These little boys have suffered all their lives. And so has their mother. I’m not trying to be disrespectful….this troubles me a lot.
If there were a God this would never have happened in the 1st place
I live it when doctors do all the work and "god" gets the credit
@@patm01ignore them. I’m with you on this one ❤
🙏🏻 MAY GOD BE WITH U & BLESS U ALL 🙏🏻
Well done everyone ❤
Not all heroes wear capes; some of them wear scrubs & stethoscopes 🏥🩺💙🩶
Sometimes you have to whats best for your kids!😊
Los estadounidenses son excelentes personas, sensibles y tratan de ayudar en todo el mundo a las personas, mi admiración y respeto para estos médicos 😢
May GOD BLESS USA ANSALL DOCTORS ON THIS COUNTRY!!! BLESSINGS!!!!
😭🥺
Astounding!
It amazes me on how far we have come in the medical field they can do things like this. Like the one twins way back when that were connected like on he breast bone wat it looked like. Just think they could have been seperated how thier life would be different
I am confused. They went back to Guatemala to a recovery home so can’t their mom come and be with them? That is sad if she doesn’t see them.
Glad they are doing well though!
Mi corazon esta con La Madre que tuvo que dar sus hijos, para que pudieran vivir! El corazon de la Madre es el corazon de Dios! Bendiciones!
Not necessarily if you ever heard of two twin sisters connected at arms and separated but i see the more importance of this one connected by there brain and the spinal chord is important but im saying in general of being connected and separated is important in all cases. 😊
God bless them!
Heroes, angels God sent 🙏
Amazing
Awesome
Nothing short of miraculous!!!! I mean standing O for those doctors and the entire team that have and continue to care for them !!! And I couldn’t be more disappointed in the mother to abandon them like that !!!! They’ve come this far that I know God has a mommy and daddy for them !!! I hope we can have an update. Until then I continue to pray and applaud their entire medical team !!!!!!! ❤️🙏🥲💯👍❤️
Boohoo! Momma did what was best for those boys. Don't bring your own childish feelings into the picture.
God bless....
God guided the hands of the entire team that participated in the boys miraculous journey. Gos is good.
God is Great! ♥️🙏🏼🌹🌟
