My time in japan again has been a blast. this time i made a bucket list to go to JMoF or Japan meeting of the furries. it was crazy fun though i dont think ill be going back for reasons ill explain in another video.

This may be a strange observation but it seems like the general upkeep up suits was better. A lot less scrappy fur than at US cons. Anyway super cute video

I used to think that furries were weird and cringeworthy, but after watching a couple of videos like this, (furry cons or just furries meeting up) my outlook on them has changed a lot. They’re just people (no pun intended) that want to have fun like everybody else on Earth. This is an art form like any other for them to have fun, express themselves in a way they couldn’t before, meet others like them, etc. People should really stop hating on them and anything else people do that they don’t fully understand. If you can take it upon yourself to decide whether or not you like it, you should definitely try to understand it first.
And who knows? Maybe I’ll join their community, it seems like it’s full of creativity, fun, and acceptance. What’s not nice about that?
Day 3: I have become a part of the fandom...
BK Okay, your day 3 comment made me laugh out loud :D But yeah, congrats! I arrived in this fandom after seeing a dance competition montage about seven months ago. At first I was weirded out by it too, but realized eventually that this is an art form to so many people and they like to have fun together without being judged within the fandom. After seeing that dance competition video, I ended up researching what furs are and made my own fursona since I'm already an artist! This fandom is so friendly, supportive, and really fun! Hope you have fun in this community as much as everyone else does!

BK Thanks! It's cool that you're an artist too :) I'm so glad I already have experience drawing since I love creating sonas! The first character I ever made was a cat/Trico hybird (if you've ever seen anything of The Last Guardian) but after I felt dissatisfied with that one, I made a wolf, a Dutchie, a pastel-rainbowy Sergal, and then a cool spear-wielding Sergal a couple weeks ago (all on and off, not immediately one after the other), and now I'm working on a Kemono style sea dragon :D I'm just creating characters for fun now, but in probably five to ten years I want to get a fursuit of one of my characters!
The only problem is that I'm super OCD about how my main sona will look when I finally decide on them and commission someone for a fursuit. Do I want a realistic Sergal suit or an adorable Kemono suit? Now that I think about it, it's so cool that you can have different characters with different personalities! A first day at a con you could be an awesome chill character like Rinn, and the next you could be a spirited bubbly character like Telephone! I was recently thinking about how I should only have one fursuit at a time when I could eventually afford to buy one, but now I want to have a cute suit to have fun in during cons, and maybe sometimes I could go out in this medieval warrior partial suit idea I've had for a while (similar to a Khajiit from Skyrim).

Kaitlyn Kolanowski I’ve been conflicted about having a realistic or cute one too lol and can’t wait to go to a con! :D my fursona is a Ring-Tailed Lemur and I have about 2 other characters I still am making personalities for. I might change the animal of my fursona soon though :)

Nice video, I saw Keenora Fluffball. He's one of my favorites. Love the faces you made when you walked through the hallway. The Japanese fursuits have much shorter snouts.

just curious cause I'm thinking of getting that for my Fursuit eyes
its a layered structure. from wat i have been told there is a lense on the outside and the iris on the inside but they suffer from fogging issues. i have been approached by a subscriber of my channel to ask about ideas to make this issue better. i would not recommend the style though until that gets fixed.
The plastic on the eyes gets fogged up when the iris is not fully sealed. If you want to use that technique, make the pupils from the film they use to darken car windows (can't see in, can see out) using that, the plastic won't get fogged up, because air can't reach it (if you seal it properly) If you want a full tutorial- search up kemono eye (that's how they're called) tutorial. Tiny1badger has a great one.

THE EYES OF THE FURSUITS ARE SO KAWAII IN JAPAN
The fiberglass eyes must protect against pepper spray and gas grenades. These mechs seem to be a lot more fit for operating in nonlethal crime control environments.

oh wow, just found ur jmof vdo after watching keenora's, i just want to ask how'd u decide if u want to go to jmof seeing as many japanese dont really speak english. did u go with group of friends or decide to just solo it. i'm asking because i dun know anyone but do really want to go to jmof hehehe maybe if u come back to jmof 2018 and i got the courage to travel there we might meet next year.

I have to sit down tonight and make it XD
Basically it was VERY different to what i am used to. Not saying its a bad thing in fact it is often a good thing. However, when you cant communicate (my issue obviously) and things close at 10pm then it becomes room party con where you need to know someone to know where the parties are at, there no dances except Friday from 9-11pm, dealers hall is only on Sunday for 3 hours, panels are mostly in a language you cant understand and topped off by being located in a town that is stretched wide without decent public transportation. all of that combined starts to feel like a slight waste of time after you are done doing the things you wanted to do.
Dont get me wrong, JMoF was fun and a great experience but knowing this now, i wont return just cause i enjoy other cons more and know where i want to spend my time and money traveling to. :3

TonyTN FOX Rufen has three versions. Versions one, two and three(ver. 1, 2.0, 3.0, etc. I think. The maker basically put some little 'updates' on the more recent Rufens). Hope this helped!
