மதுரைக்கு சுற்றுலா வருகிறவர்களோ அல்லது மதுரைக்காரர்களோ ஒருநாளுக்குள் சுற்றுலா செல்ல நினைக்கும் இடம் கொடைக்கானல் அல்லது இராமேஸ்வரம். 3 அல்லது 4 மணி நேரத்துக்குள் சென்றுவிடலாம். அதில் ஒரு முக்கியமான சுற்றுலா தலம்தான் அரியமான் கடற்கரை.
இராமநாதபுரத்துக்கும் இராமேஸ்வரத்துக்கும் நடுவில் அமைந்துள்ளது அரியமான் கடற்கரை. பொதுப் பேருந்தில் வருகிறவர்கள் சுந்தரமுடையான் என்ற ஊரில் இறங்கி அங்கிருந்து ஆட்டோவில் அரியமானுக்குச் செல்லலாம்.
அரியமான் கடற்கரைக்குள் நுழைய ஊராட்சி நிர்வாகம் சார்பில் வாகனங்களுக்குக் கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கிறார்கள். பசியைத் தீர்க்க சின்னச்சின்ன கடைகள் இருக்கின்றன. மீனவர்கள் கரைவலையில் மீன் பிடிக்கும் காட்சிகளை பார்க்கலாம். சிறிய நாட்டுப்படகுகளில் சென்றும் மீன் பிடிப்பார்கள். கடல் வழியாக கிழக்கே மண்டபம், பாம்பனுக்கும் மேற்கே தேவிப்பட்டினம், தொண்டி, மீமிசல், கோட்டைப்பட்டினம் என்று மீனவர்கள் செல்வார்கள்.
இக்கடற்கரையில் சுமாரான உயரத்தில் அலைகள் எழும் என்பதால், கவனமாகக் குளிக்க வேண்டும்.
