This happens a lot in other sports cards collector rings. People have found a way to open and reseal packs or even make new wrappers. I've seen it most in NFL, NBA, Pokemon and MTG cards, since they are more collected than hockey. People are also putting fake cards in slabs with copied/reprinted PSA labels. Sorry this happened to you.

Guarantee those were weighed and like you said, likely bought third party but they run a hobby shop, they should know better and never buy loose product from anyone… and if they’re searching the boxes themselves and just selling the loose packs then they deserve no one’s business. Sorry bud. Bad enough the SPX boxes were dull but this is just unacceptable.
Miraj trading on their website doesn't mention that THERE IS NO HITS in these loose packs. But if you look them up on ebay I do believe they mention it so yeah, it's definitely super shady. Miraj is honestly decent for sealed boxes but never, never buy loose packs from them.

how much did you buy them for? if you cant get your money back, make a video in there store, yet let them do the honors of opening them for you, and record them revealing the amazing hits that the packs probably hold.
not when your in a trusty hobby shop with the hobby boxes open in front of you and they even let me choose packs from these boxes....buying loose packs from the net is kind of asking to be scam
Unfortunately sealed boxes are the only way to go, preferably from a store you know and trust, and is an LCS near you. When you can feel the product in your hands before you buy it, it adds a layer of protection I think. Good luck and let us know the outcome.
even sealed boxes can be hazardous as in once they hit the Case hit they sell the rest of the case...got back in hobby a year ago and it was the first thing i ask directly at the shop owner.Looking straight in his eyes i asked if those boxes were freshly out of a case or they were diluted.Guy didnt have a choice and opened a brand new case in front of me and i choose the box myself.

It is easy to remove all good cards from Between the Pipes! So what they did is opening a few boxes and took all the good cards and then, sell the rest... Really not honest !!!
This is why i refuse to buy loose packs...I dont trust it. I buy sealed boxes and create my own loose pack vids...you never know! Did you contact them and they say anything?

The crazy thing is that even if they had sold them in a "sealed" box there would be no guarantee that the packs hadn't been searched and the box resealed.. Thankfully, I haven't been a victim of this kind of issue as I don't usually buy wax boxes/packs on eBay or other social media outlets.

I wonder if someone didn't figure out a pattern in boxes as to where the hits were, and took out those from many boxes, and sold the leftovers. I was going to say they were probably weighed by pack but how does that catch the autographs? You deserve a full refund and more. Show them the video, and if they won't do anything for you, remind them you have a platform you can use to let everyone know all about their store.

falling for loose packs is asking to be scam unless they opened the box in front of you and let you choose from it....if not scam 98% of the time

The Between The Pipes boxes are mapped, so it’s easy to pull out all the hit packs.

These packs were easy to pick the jersey out of but you should have still gotten some inserts in the first stack. Mirai is good.
