Well long time no see! Took a bit to figure out the 1st few minutes... where the power station used to be! But the river, Richmond Park & Ham Common is my home ground... we were free to explore it all even before our teens back in the 1960's! By the time I was 15 I was meandering out along country lanes all the way to Oxford , the Cotswolds & Wales beyond... I still think Kingston is a magical place!! Does anyone still talk about the fact that you could "ford" the Thames at Kingston with cattle etc at the low ebb on the Spring tides in summer!! The same tides would zoom Tudor monarchs all the way to Hampton Court through much of the monthly tide flow!! Kingston is where it is for very specific reasons due the Thames natural tide flows before any locks & embankments!! Must get back there & take a stroll around some time!!
24:20 it sad to see all of the restaurants closed due to the lock down, this part should have been full of people having a great time eating in the restaurants. A great video of the river bank at Kingston upon Thames.
