The correct answer is Panzer Dragoon. I would also accept Shining Force. Maybe even Alex Kidd, although he did get a remaster recently of his most well known game.
Virtua Fighter and Sakura Wars come to mind, except one is rumoured to have its long-awaited sixth entry in development, and the other got a new game, not too long ago.
I dunno if Space Harrier really needs to come back. It was one good game that still gets ported all over the place. You could argue that it's a spinoff of Fantasy Zone. In any case, I don't think a sequel would add much.
Nintendo fans complaining about not getting a new F-Zero don’t know the pain of being a Sega fan.
F-Zero is a sega franchise as half of the big releases and 1/3 of the series overall really

Fortunately, in recent years we saw the return of Samba de Amigo and the Sonic franchise into a more respected IP. Not only that but it was recently announced that Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage (again), Shinobi, Golden Axe, and Crazy Taxi are coming back with more to be announced next year. It is also rumored that Comix Zone, Guardian Heroes, and Skies of Arcadia might come back in some way, so the future for Sega looks bright for now

The thirst for a new Jet Set Radio got recently quenched with the release of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk which is a really good spiritual successor which I'm really happy about

and Hideki Naganmuna makes some of the music in it I love it

Your top 5 are also some of my most awaited franchise to see return, and I also think Billy Hatcher is very underrated. I also was born a few years after the release of the game and have not been able to play it. However, from what I've seen, it honestly looks like a fun game that would be great to see rereleased or get a sequel with more content
the creator that spawned billy hatcher does want to create a sequel one day. so with sega ReWave (yeah that's what i'm call it)
I hope to see some ips get back on track in the next years.

Kinda looking forward to what Sega might bring back in addition to what was shown on the Game Awards. I’d love to see a version of Skies of Arcadia for modern consoles maybe with an orchestral score. I would love to see a new Comix Zone or Dynamite Cop. I never played Burning Rangers but I’d love to see it make a comeback.

Golden Axe: The Revenge Of Death Adder was not a Japan exclusive as it was released in US arcades, but it's not as popular as the first game.
Knew that Vectorman was gonna pop onto the screen the moment the first note of his Ocean Level Music played XD Was wondering when he was gonna show up on the list.
They did actually make some concepts for a potential 3rd Vectorman game on the Saturn but it never ended up getting made.

Dude i still play billy hatcher to this day on my gamecube, this is so fucking cathartic for me. I first found out about this game through a demo disk way back in the 2000s, and i begged my mom to see if we could get it. Lo and behold, we were able to get a copy of it, its one of my favorite gamecube games :)

Damn, 2023 made this video outdated in some ways There's no mention of the canceled Vectorman 3, Samba de Amigo: Party Central! or Bomb Rush Cyberfunk anywhere in this video, which is such a shame but the two of you who made this video didn't know about this stuff at the time so I don't blame you for not putting it in. Despite that stuff not being in this video, this video is still great.

Sega's already released a new Samba de Amigo game since this video released, and Golden Axe, Crazy Taxi, and Jet Set Radio are getting revived. Let's hope Sega comes through for the rest of the IPs on this list

About Genesis/CD game... Golden Axe is a no brainer, Ristar and Ecco, why not, but i'm really not a fan of Vectorman and Comix Zone.
What i would like to see would be a true Shining Force (who didn't exist since 1998), Keio Flying Squadron (1996) and an Oasis/Thor game (since 1996).
Lastly for my most beloved Saturn, ... Night okay. But Bug ? with all the banger on this console you choose Bug ????

I can't believe that no one ever talks about the 7th Dragon franchise. Yes, its latest game was on the 3DS, in 2015, but the fanbase is straight up NONEXISTENT. And I just don't understand, aside from it not being translated to English before 7th Dragon III: Code VFD came out, how no one knows about it! It even had a demo on the 3ds. AND HATSUNE FREAKING MIKU was in not one, but TWO OF THE GAMES. Like, is there really no one with at least an obscure memory of playing the 3DS demo ? even as a kid? It had a JSR reference? And a Yugioh parody? 7th Dragon players, anyone??
