How long does it take for you guys to grind one star?
And can someone explain me why the heck is Chi-Nu at 3.3?
Took me around 2h with T-80UM-2 and Ka-50 (11.0), and around 4 hours with T-55AM-1 (8.3)
Around 2-3 hours, at br 8.7 arcade (realistic sucks for events)
Naval 4-6h depends on how I play/ how I am motivated/tired
By the way, im playing France, so it’s not as easy as Germany or the USSR, but at least im not braindead
At 6.3 about 4 hours
You know if you listen to your crew speak when you range find, they will tell you the correct range of enemy tanks regardless of what the range finder says (laser range finder excluded), i tried it with sturmtiger and been getting hits 100% on long ranges, range finder says 700 but the crew says 850, set to 850 and direct hit into the face
been abusing it lol, it also works on light tank when u tagged somebody.
it also gives you an answer 2-3s faster
they don't say the exact range sometimes, aiming by their rangefinding was pretty inconsistent for me

the cas is wild, i gotta say im ok with cas being in ground but i think the best would be to give like a limit for aircraft for each team, like idk lets say 2 planes at a time for an instance.

My idea Dat I sent to gaijin Tru the forum (wich is probably forgotten already or didn't even get read) was Dat every aircraft should have base 600 sp cost and then ordenance and ground belts adds more cost, like a fully loaded P47 would be 600sp + like 250-300sp for all bombs and rokets. So 850-900sp
Like this, u need to actually do shit in the match do spawn CAS, while if u want to kill CAS, u have an easier life with only needing 600sp, or an AA
There should be a time limit before planes can even be spawned at all, I think that's the bare minimum to balance them. Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind a short countdown before artillery can be called in for those 0-skill 0-effort "drop arty on closest cap to enemy spawn" pure luck kills 30 seconds into a match.

Imagine having rank 4 tanks with 6.3 BR at max, getting constant 7.7 matches and the only tank that is somewhat good and has a decent gun is 5.7 M36 (B2 version, to be precise,with the roof). Against E.B.R.s IS-6s and Leo 1s. And since my M36 is fresh from the tech tree it has the base APBC round which is bad
If you have 6.3 you wont get 7.7 matches. 7.3 max.

Pro tip : tasks that require to play with vehicles in **insert number** rank can be completed with vehicles below this rank if you play even a single one of required rank, it's really useful as you can play very low BRs with this technique, for example Russian 2.7 lineup by using Zis-43

17:03 Just Japan tree things, like how the Chi-Nu II sits .6 above the PzIV H and J despite being nearly identical in terms of gameplay. You should see the BRs of the frontline bombers in the air tree too, absolutely ridiculous placement.

Tbh, the bombers are probably like that because no sane person has touched them over the last couple of years.
that intro is so facts, just got done with a7k grind, on to atomic heart grind, then on to the summer event grind.
After the Sturmtiger I lost all my fun farming these event vehicles xd
I would atleast have some motivation if they did something fun with it, like some special event and not just "go play and you might get one star done as long as you have bad enough social skills/interactions"

When I tried WT years ago, I was turned away within a day or so because of constant uptiers and experienced players in low BR games. Immediately took any fun out of it.

it's painful grind, took me around 6h+ to get one star and i do both naval and air.
so at 21h (5 from this video) you got 2 rank 3 tanks no AA from rank 2
id love to see how long it takes to reach rank 4 in the japanese ground tree

BR placement is mostly determined by player stats so the way it is is because germany has a lot of players and many of them suck at the game and japan has a few players and most of them are good at the game
Japanese ground vehicles have a huge BR gap in the Rank II and III

the chi-nu is part of thoses tank that can't be moved at 3.0 or 2.7 , because it will fuck up the tech tree since japan doesn't have many tank gaijin prefer putting it slightly higher br than most tank , since chi nu is the best low tier of japan it goes to 3.3 ( the good br of japan is around 4.3 since i thas Chi nu II and Chi To
reserve tank like chi he , chi ha kai and chi ha are what gaijin call similar to PZ3L etc
in summary chi nu is 3.3 because chi he can't fight M4 and Chi to is overkill for M4
Gajin needs to do something about ground RB, half the matches people only spawn on one side of map and there’s nothing to do, the rest of matches are people not even attempting to capture points and games ending super early because of it or because nobody brings vehicles, nothing worse than having a 5 kill wager which should be easy, getting 4 but game ends because enemy team brought 2 vehicles, one of which being a plane.
If you want dollarrr to play the A10 again
You should play the IJN Fuso
Japan til you get Chi tankses is cake walk, until you meet IS-1 and Panthers-D. rest of the game is bounce or no penetration. (Ho-Ro is bis whole tree, longest kill I got with it was 2345 Meters on a tiger-II)
As long as you spawn a rank 3 vehicle, all points earned will count, even in lower tier things.

Sadly Gaijin thinks they are on the positive side by changing the economy but they are just patching up a disasters wound after they shot themselves in the foot. But the state of the game remains terrible still. It's been years and these BS are still present. The very core mechanics of the game aren't working properly.
Like you shot the breech with a 75mm cannon and the breech went "red". And the side shot to the Sherman...
Free to play? I don't think so! Free to cry - yes! Free to suffer - ofcourse! Free to "what is fuck is this?" - certainly!!!
I never bother with any "event" it really is just more grind. I either play on and ignore the "tasks" etc, or I use them as a perfect time to take a regular break from the game.
The "grind" isn't really an issue, unless you subscribe to FOMO or the "fear of missing out" and just have to have the little extras they tease you with. It's more the flood of try-hards that these events encourage that turn me off. The players who already don't have any idea of "team work" and will with single minded intensity chase the things they need to progress. And stuff anyone else.
Just look at a lot of the comments here... describing how they take advantage of some of the badly "BR'd" lower ranked vehicles to "seal club" low tier new players and easily progress through that all important (to them) grind.
I really commend Gaijin's latest efforts in addressing some of the problems in the game, they have taken some really good, and surprising steps. Esp in the "economy", but for me the core issues remain, I never chased the higher tier vehicles, never interested me so the economy wasn't the big issue. The things that do frustrate me remain, and realistically won't change. I've only played about 10 games in the last 3 months, have no real urge to start up the client again, and these "events" just discourage me further.
I play at least 2 hours a night and since I work 10+ hours a day and still need to cook and do dishes and some general housework stuff every day this is generally what I get. I havent even gotten halfway to one of the goals yet. /sigh. looks like another set of event vehicles I will never see.

I played like 3 hours each day for the past like 3 days... not even half a bar because I keep getting up tiered and apparently t34s and kv1s bounce brümbar, sturer emile, Dicker max, and 88 rounds broadside yet will pen me from nearly a click away with their first shot. This game hates casuals

It takes me an entire afternoon for the 40k points. Usually 15-17 matches getting at least 2k SP per match
Well I had no Idea that I can use rank 2 for the event, so I went for better tanks to grind
I've stopped doing any events in WT. It's just grinding 5-10 hours everyday or pay-to-gain feature (cause most of the events can be sped up if ya put real money there).
After "operation SUFFER" and Atomic hearts event I just gave up. I don't need a 2nd full time job. Also the events are basically the same, boring, repetitive grind that make you regret even starting. Even the events like Dune event or Atomic hearts: it's the same all the fucking time. Same battles, same vehicles, same mode for 10 hours everyday. Fuck that.
I am really happy to see you use a Free to play account. You are getting into a rank where it becomes much more expensive to advance. Enjoy your videos!!! Rock on.

You need to spawn with old event reward vehicle 1 times/battle to count in the event.
Well for premium vehicles probably
But only event vehicles, not the regular tree ones.
