And now we are heartbroken he didn't call her this time!!! Godspeed Stephen, I hope you find the peace you were looking for.
Same thing I thought. I wish we could go back in time.
Amen And Amen 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️
God’s always on time always remember that Time 🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@carolynbyrd2722 Beautiful saying, Carolyn
Perhaps didn't want to be anywhere near the Phone, the internet is toxic, the dark web is full of evil. Unfortunate to consider people 'failed' the man, this man, others also, but the trail of evidence reflects the signs of abuse in society and it's influence. A friend should walk into your life and leave any, every meeting wearing a smile on their face and in their heart. Of course tears and anger are also human. Good to see here and elsewhere there was a surround of love and kindness in the journey, so it wasn't all ugly stuff, there were also sweet beautiful moments, time he, they shared.
Dr. Stewart is incredible. I know she’s extra heartbroken right now. I feel so bad for everyone that knew him intimately.
This is another great example of the great work being done at Historically Black Universities and Colleges (HBCUs) as Doc Stewart is a Jackson State University grad who continued to produce great fruit at Alabama State University, which are two amazing HBCUs.
Teachers like THAT!!! Are Golden, just wow...why our future is in the hands of teachers, PAY THEM BETTER, HONOR THEM...NOW
She is such a phenomenal actress herself from In The Heat Of The Night
I thought she looked familiar?
Omg I knew I recognized her
‘The way is already made’-Dr. Stewart.
God bless you beautiful lady: teacher, mentor and beloved child of God. 🙏👆🏼❤️
I’m glad you got to honor her before you departed from this world. Rest easy sir
Heartbreaking watching this after Twitch's death. I don't know what he was going through, but I wish he had reached out and found help. My condolences to his beautiful family and all of the many friends and fans that he left behind to mourn him. I hope his loss somehow saves at least one life, and someone will know that there are people willing to listen and help you if you're feeling suicidal. Anyone considering suicide please reach out for help. Please. RIP brother.
Dr. Stewart is such a beautiful woman inside and out!!!!! She is not only amazing as a teacher but on a regular incounter she is the kind of beautiful soul that lifts your heart when you are at your lowest and lift you higher when you think you may be at your highest. It's my privilege to know her. 😌
Dr Stewart looks like and reminds me of the actress that used to play On in the heat of the Night she was the aunt Eda that used to take care of Virgil tibbs and Althea tibbs twins. Tonea Stewart play Etta Kirby. In this professor's name is Dr Stewart as well I wonder if they're related has to be you look like twins could be your daughter or her sister.
@@reneehenry6385 yes it is her Dr. Tanae Stewart she played in a few movies.
This is Awesome. I was a teacher for 46 years. This is exactly how I feel about my students.
Blessings 🙌
And I'm sure you made a huge difference in their lives. ❤️
Thank you for service to our children!! We cant do this without yall!! 🙏🙏❤❤
Was it worth it? Thinking about becoming a teacher
THE POWER OF EDUCATORS!
I don't even know this woman personally but I love her❤️😭
If you have ever watched repeat showings of a show called “In the Heat of the Night “ starring Howard Rollins and Carroll O’Conner, Dr. Stewart played the role of Aunt Etta.
I’m 53 years old and I had a teacher since elementary school who usually love me as her own , she usually took me to her home every weekends to spend time with her and her two girls and I track her down and found her in NY she’s my seconds mother
She is absolutely precious. 🙏🏽 Rest well, Twitch 😢
It’s so sad and heartbreaking that he’s passed away. Such a loss. So much talent and all around great personality. Twitch you will be missed very much. It’s hard to understand.
Dr . Stewart is so kind and warm I can see she really cared about twitch. You made a huge difference and dance will never be the same . You were the greatest dancer ,so natural. I hope you are still dancing up there in heaven.😭😭😭
I cried this entire video. So much greatness and potential prematurely ended. RIP Stephen “Twitch” Boss 😢
Rest in love Twitch, this is just unbelievably devastating.🙏🏽🕊🙏🏽🕊1982-2022🕯
Tall tree’s catch much wind 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
WHY AM I CRYING...... love this so much
Dr. Stewart, a product of Thee Jackson State University and an example of finer womanhood, courtesy of Zeta Phi Beta - she taught at Jackson State prior to ASU and I am so glad I was witness to many production the theater department presented during my time as a student there. She is a national treasure and deserves every accolade. tWitch and his colleagues were truly blessed to have such a caring and spirited guide. 'May the work I've done speak for me' - Tommie, your work is speaking and blessing us all.
My sentiments exactly! I’m also a JSU grad & I remember Dr. Stewart’s productions. I was also so proud to see her on “In the heat of the night” back in the day!
It's nice she got a gift of seeing him in person not by zoom but she showed up...I'm sure she'll cherish that ..
What a blessing 🙌🏾 I wish I had a teacher like her in my life.
In light of his passing, what a beautiful way to give him his flowers. Her sentiments shared by many, grieving the loss of him. “Tall trees catch much wind”…Rest well Stephen🤍🙏🏾🕊️💐
First time hearing that quote, but well said & explained. She shared strength & taught her students how to bend
& not break.
Dr. Stewart is one of the reasons why we have hope today for humanity. God bless her , Twitch and the entire network for reuniting them and sharing their story with the world, peace ✌and love❤
What a sweet caring woman. And i just love Twitch, he is such a nice man.
Her words were for him. WOW!!! There's no way he would've wanted to disappoint this woman!!
It's so nice to honor such a beautiful woman. She made a difference to all those around her. She is right. God is good! So, so good!
I remember her from In the Heat of The Night!!!
Yep
She is someone I need to be around. She is so inspiring! Aw!! I just love this!
Oh wow. I didn't know all this about her. All I knew about her was Aunt Etta from In the Heat of the Night
I can only imagine the hurt that this woman is feeling right now. It is still unbelievable to us all! I hate to speculate but it almost feels like it has to be something else because this man was so full of life as it appears. 💔
In tears...😥 RIP TWITCH.....WE JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS GOING THROUGH.....HE'S ALWAYS SMILING BUT BEHIND THAT SMILE HE WAS GOING THROUGH....MAN, STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT! WOW!! HIS FAMILY😫 OMG!!😭
Dr Stewart has a beautiful soul ❤️
I can say personally that Dr. Stewart is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and the best dean I’ve ever learned under. I will never give up on theater because of her ❤️
Don't give up!
Grew up Montgomery, never knew Stephen grew up there also. He had the best teacher, she is a treasure!!!
"Tall trees catch much wind, bend but bounce right back and keep moving forward." Don't give up! Condolences to the family and everyone Stephen "tWitch" has inspired.
I just can't believe he is gone. I don't know him personally, of course, but he was such a light. Hearing of his passing and how he passed has just hurt all week. Whew.
*RIP 'tWitch Boss* '. *May God embrace each and everyone with his care and peace* .
I could listen to Dr.Stewart talk all day
Give ppl their flowers while they are here 💛
This woman, Dr. Stewart, has touched so many young and adult lives. She pulled talent from people who never knew they had it.

Dr. Stewart you not only poured knowledge into you students, you also poured love. Thank you for all you do to educate all children.

Just beautiful. BEAUTIFUL!
This is a beautiful moment. We need more teachers like Doc Stewart. Sometimes we students go through so much at home or in the streets yearning to find the truth in us. A little bit of love and a little bit of encouragement can truly inspire and motivate a soul to become great.

This is beautiful ❤ Teachers and mentors make all the difference!
Dr Stewart is making the world the better place. She must be devastated right now. My thoughts and prayers are with her, Twitch family and loved ones. His death is also hard for me. Not sure why.
She is devastated. In an interview, she said she had been checking her phone over and over, wondering if she missed a call from him. She was near tears, and you could tell she was in great anguish. She said she had no idea he was hurting so much. Very sad.
WOW 😲😁😲😲 oh my GOD she is gorgeously beautiful one incredible mentor friend and teacher wow I have never ever known a TEACHER quite as remarkably beautiful and amazing WOW give this woman her flowers NOW 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
This was absolutely beautiful. Greatness is always among us.❤
I wish tWitch knew and was reminded “the way is already made”. So sad that he took his life and my heart breaks for his family, friends, fans and everyone who loved him.
Stephen Twitch, a man full of love and gratitude. He had his moment with his mentor Dr. Stewart! RIH Twitch....

Amazing story. So beautiful. Wow!
I loved her on the heat of the night!!
Beautiful and sweet!
I wish he would called her in the final moments before then…. I never knew of this man until the day however; it appears he touched so many lives 😊
She did an interview and said she's been checking her phone over and over, wondering if perhaps she missed a call from him. She had so much anguish in her face. It was heartbreaking to see it.
I loved this man, I loved his dancing. He reminds me of my middle son on the Movie Step Up 3.
I was really hurt when I heard the news this morning he had died.
May he rest in Peace. May TMH YAH have mercy on his soul, and heal the hurt his loved ones are going through.
What a sweet sweet lady . I love this
What an awesome and amazing story!😭❤️😭
Life may sling arrow's your way you can bend but you better not Break, so true love that!👍😊
Wow!
Amazing
Dr. Stewart looks like actress LaTanya Richardson. I had to do a double look.
RIP tWitch. Sending my prayers to his family and friends
U Twich are one Special Man So caring nice always with a smile Have a Positively Pineapplely Day 🍍☀️🇨🇦😎🤘😎🇨🇦
Absolutely beautiful God is great the greatness is still creating, well done Dr🙌🏾💫💐
So amazing. What a woman. This is the most sad story. That childhood trauma is so consuming, regardless of counseling and trying to work through it. If it happened very early, for decades, it just influences your thinking and outlook and it's so difficult to change. I hope he's found peace and we'll miss him. Bless is family. I only hope he's shared his traumas with his wife so she understands.
What childhood trauma ?
I hadn't heard ...
What an inspiring Mentor/Teacher and sadly Stephen couldn't remember her wise words, such as "Life may sling arrows you way, you can bent, but you better don't break"
Little do you know those words may have rehearsed in his head ..
when will people realize it’s TORTURE when you are suicidal, you don’t “ snap out of it” by a wonderful past encouragement from someone or many others.
Some can find enough hope and strength and ask for help.. beyond tragic that he wasn’t one of them💔
@@hisforever4937 Yes. He obviously was tortured by something, and it was eating him up inside and it had been for quite a while. He was smiling through the pain, dancing, bringing light to others until he couldn't do it anymore. The dancing wasn't enough to give him joy. I'll always think of this as so very tragic and sad.
Little did she know that this would happen. Be strong Doc!!!
I worked for Doc while in college and what an experience! I got to meet and talk to some great artists! My favorite was Morgan Freeman 🤣😊. RIP Twitch my brother in arts 💔
Oh wow I know she was hurt when she heard the news of his passing I can’t imagine the pain..again we never know what people are experiencing inside his pain wwe never knew he never shared wht he was experiencing.. God rest his beautiful soul God give his family peace Lord help us 😢
Simply! Simply! Beautiful!💖 And So Deserving💖💖
Fantastically fantastic
One word...Wholesome!
The kindest, most loving people leave us with the memory of their greatness. I am so sad that he lived with pain and left in pain.
Whatever haunted you in life, Stephen I pray that you are at rest in beautiful peace ❤️
I can’t believe he’s gone now
How touching!
He had a support system, sometimes its just not enough.
Wow I never she was teacher dean. All her students become actors I knew she was acting I so proud all them dream come to
