Revelation 19:6 - And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
The Messiah's "Hallelujah Chorus" is more appropriate for the Christian Liturgical Feasts of Easter, the Ascension, Pentacost, and (if we could celebrate it today) His "Second Coming" !!!
I do not like the trills on "reigneth". They are unnecessary and not how Handel originally envisioned it. No need to mess with a piece that's already perfect.
MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS JUST NORMALIZED..THIS IS BEYOND MUSIC..THIS IS HEALING...!!!
Beautifully built up and phrased. They don't just blast away. Love the trill on "ehhvah" and the snap of the trumpet descant. Wow.
This is the best of the BEST
hallelujah to god for sending this song through Handel messiah

A beautiful performance!
I sing along to this, and I can mostly hear the choir, so I think, "I sound good!"
nice song

Why is this performance a half step lower?
The reaction of almost every fan of Game of Thrones when Joffery kicked the bucket
Sometimes the trill needs to start from the note and not from above. This is one of those times.
what happened to "he that dwelleth in heaven' and 'thou shalt break them'?
