What a Groovey Psychedelic Episode Man. I really Dig the Kids moving to Dreamy Sounds of Spaceadelic while surrounded by Oil Slide Projectors, Coloured Catherine Wheels, and Diffuser Screens. ARRR those were the days! 😊👍
I'll bet we can get Penny to sign on to ... some kind of SYSTEM where we prevent any Olders from being around at all. Perhaps a maximum age of 30. Oh, look, the robot is chasing Dr Smith shouting something about a "runner" ...
1:26 This part is so heartbreaking! Penny's obviously in anguish, playing at rejecting her parents, but she thinks that by doing so she'll be keeping them safe. Brava Angela!
Penny's best episodes are "My Friend, My Nobody" (1.7), "The Magic Mirror" (1.21), "All That Glitters" (1.26), "The Golden Man" (2.15), "The Questing Beast" (2.17), "The Galaxy Gift" (2.30), "A Day at the Zoo" (3.12), "Princess of Space" (3.17), & "The Promised Planet" (3.19). I think her best work is in "The Magic Mirror" & "A Day at the Zoo," but I liked her a lot in "Princess of Space" as well.
The Magic Mirror was far and away my favorite episode. Born in 62, I couldn't have been more than 3 or 4 years old, but L in S was my favorite show (along with Gene London, Philly kids know who he was) Penny was my favorite character, and Magic Mirror was my favorite episode
@@njplr The end of "The Magic Mirror," when "the boy" (with no name) reveals he has no reflection, & therefore cannot leave the mirror world, is the most poignant end in the entire series. The black & white cinematography in the first season: loved it then, love it now. 🙂🙃
An often criticized episode but like many Star Trek episodes, it has a grain of a deeper theme to it. Remember it in it's context: 1968 if I 'm not mistaken.
I. LOVE. THIS/ EPISODE. !!!!!!!!! I like that in Bartholomew's Pad- there was a BEATLES poster!! Thus- the Beatles are the most popular band in the GALAXY !!! 😛
What possessed you, Older, to try to hone in on Penny's vibe? Even her less than two minutes of wisdom makes your hours of flatline rambling just that much more of a bore. Penny's groovy and that's all there is to it, man!
This episode puzzles me. So basically the aliens' phony base in the Alpha Centauri system has young adults who speak in 1960's slang ... even though the Robinsons left Earth in 1999. Something's strange here. LOL
It's written by Peter Packer. Terrible. The only two eps Packer wrote for LIS that i could at least stand was The Derilict and Target Earth. I guess Visit to a Hostile Planet and The Dream Monster have a few amusing moments but only a few.
Lost in Space is show that my brother and I LOVED as kids, but man did it age like milk. Granted this was one of the most ridiculous episodes of the series...
I always had a crush on Penny.
So did my counselor. I am very lucky to have her autograph
Yes, seriously. She's just a few months younger than me.
This episode was on MeTV, today 7-30-23.
She was so beautiful!

They played the Doors' "Twentieth Century Fox" on the set while filming. The TV score was added in post-production.
Her sister Veronica did Alien, sci fi sisters. 👍
She's pretty beautiful.
Not only that but to speak frankly, I think she looks very becoming in her miniskirt and boots.

She owns an art studio near me.
those costumes look like my formal Easter Sunday attire from when I was a kid
The skirts ain't so bad, roomy and colorful.
More like a roll of groovy Necco wafers, man.
She has a gown like a Easter egg😂Lol!.
“YOU hurt Pen-ny!!” -Mr. Nobody
I Love her all-American accent. So C00L!😀
Although to be more precise, both her and her sister Veronica were born in England.
Some of you take this too serious...the show was funny and fun to watch....one of the best episodes!
But there was also a lot of heartfelt drama; just watch Penny when she's having to pretend to reject her parents.
@@MaskedMan66 Penny turned into a living doll in season 3

Well, we got double the Angela in that episode, since she played the real Princess Alpha as well. 🙂

Episode 19 in the 3rd season, first airing Jan. 24, 1968.
wow probably the most beautiful woman outside of mary ann
Timeless!👍
She was my first crush ever!
Mine too. I was in 3rd grade. Couldn’t keep my eyes off her in every episode. Even if she was in the background - that’s where I was looking.
Who was your last crush?
@@CalebAhlersmeyer I still get them.

Blast you for leaving out penny’s dance!
You can see her dance in another of my videos:

@@Greathall75 0:26 you didnt show the dance she did on the table in that scene. The video link is ruined by an overlay that took up half the screen!

I hope I never get too old to get Penny's vibe, though I must admit I may now be too old to make her scene.
I am here baby space master train 🎉
❤❤❤❤
I hope Penny is into dating Olders.
Kid looks like Sgt.Bilko!
seems like her attitude problem didn't last very long

They left Earth in 1997. As for the 60's lingo, obviously the aliens had picked it up from Earth radio transmissions.

That's IT? Less than two minutes of real dialogue? Marta Kristen likely got less.
Yeah, only 2 minutes worth but definitely the best lines in the episode.
What is the dance called that Penny does?
"The Penny".
I think it's the boogaloo.

So many great lines! Dr. Smith to a teenager: “Sir…you aren’t figuring on rubbing me out, are you…?” Edgar: “We ALREADY FIGURED, Methuselah!”
