But had he done past the first segment, David Letterman would've joined John Davidson on one square for the first time in 7 years back in 1979 on Peter Marshall's version and Paul Shaffer and the WMDB would've provided the live music with Stormy Sacks sitting in.
GSN never aired Davidson Squares. WTAE aired Squares at this point at 10:30AM, then moved it to 7:30PM, then later to late nights. WPGH Fox52 aired the last season of Davidson Squares in Pittsburgh.

GSN only aired Bergeron and some Marshall Squares. Davidson hasn't been seen on tv since 1993.

Check out the music of new edition they are legends. They eventually disbanded becoming bobby brown, Ralph tresvant, johnny gill & bell biv devoe.
