i love seeing mary and sarah's storylines because you notice how much their dynamic is so similar to erin and orla's, like they're both a reflection of their mothers bless 😭
i love how they give the parents their own interesting storylines that lets us get to know them on a more personal level. also they’re always just as funny as the kid’s scenes. 😹 thanks for another upload 🌷
It's also great how each group has a straight man; the person who reacts in a normal way to the insanity around them. For the girls It's James, and for the adults It's Jerry. 😊
zuff was just letting all the thoughts come out this episode 😭 also rock the boat along with other dances are common at parties! the moves are just engrained in british and irish people
people used to call weed and hash blow in ireland 🤭 orla wasn't wrong this time, it's actually fairly normal here for people at wakes to hold the person who passed away's hand or kiss their forehead, ect, (especially older women) i was so spooked as a kid 🤣
My mom died on April 21st of this year. She made Colm look like a quiet and reserved introvert! 😉 I miss her monotonous talking now. Enjoyed y'alls reactions and commentary as always!
This is my all-time favourite episode of DG purely because it’s so accurate to Irish families haha, at least mine 😂. They’re so much drama in Irish families it’s crazy, great video guys!
So I'm mexican-american, not Irish, but the family dynamics in this episode were PERFECTLY representative of my family. Especially the bitchy aunt with a 50 year old manchild son, and arguing over a dead relatives possessions. My grandma and her sisters had a HUGE meeting to decide what happened to my great grandma's stuff after she passed to try and avoid something like this, and that same bitchy aunt tried to pull a fast one and sneak away some things before the others found out. Her daughter ratted her out to the family though lmao
I am obsessed with this episode. My best friend and I rewatch it all the time. We learned the Rock the Boat dance, the wedding and the wake are so iconic
@@becait even Protestants are more comfortable with death here than other places, I thinks it’s just the experience of being around dead bodies and it’s kind of normalised and not scary whereas in other cultures it’s more taboo maybe. It’s really cool to see so many cultural similarities 😊
This is such a chaotic episode, I love it. And your reactions were pretty funny as well. xD And tbh even if I wasn't the most social person when I was a kid (or teen), this is kinda relatable to how kids and teens acted in the 90s and 00s in Europe (or at least in some countries).
It’s absolutely _wild_ to me that Zuff had to be the one to point out that people don’t make cocaine scones. lol. I mean, this is the dude who kept talking about middle aged people “liking” each other anytime they had a short, somewhat pleasant conversation. Jesus Christ, what a shit show. (But he’s a lovable shit show at least!) Hahaha.
Birdies son, is ardal o'hanlon, a stand up comedian in his own right, but more importantly to me, fr Dougal McGuire in the incredible show father Ted. ... You gotta see it
Saddest part of the video is that on 2/3 of the reaction was correcting one person who was clearly watching something g totally different 2 seasons in and thisso the other perecent was actually paying attention I'm from the beginning 😢

Young Royals, guys, please?
“She likes him” “that’s her cousin” 😭😭😭
zuff literally killed me with the "she likes him" and everytime he said it it was about people who were family😭
Wait wdym they're family??
Zuff on scones 😂
@@damndanimthey’re related to each other?
@@damndanimyeah the lady who died was his mother and she was the sister of Mary’s mum

The funniest part of this episode was grandad being nice to Gerry and him looking shocked lmao
And Michelle's reaction when Erin said "He was nice to Daddy." 😂

The flashback episode in season 3 is one of my favourite episodes, the casting was so perfect. i would love a spin off about them

Bryce, you being so done with Zuff this episode was hilarious. Great video! ♥
Even I was losing my patience with Zuff this episode, icl. What was going on with him 😂
My fav part of this episode was sister michael’s reaction to talking to Colm. Perfect line delivery and facial expressions 😂😂
“Is this my wake” is one of the best delivered lines of the series

I'm sorry for your loss ❤
Oof that’s so recent, hope you’re doing ok. Grief absolutely sucks.
In Ireland, "Rock the Boat" is like Ameriaca's "Electric Slide", or "Cha Cha Slide". Everyone on the dance floor! LOL
4:36 That's an actual dance from Ireland - specifically for that song.
The person wearing the blue shirt is clearly high! He seems to have entirely forgotten about the earlier episodes 🤣🤣🤣
Funny how an episode about death is one of the funniest lmao
Dude in the blue is zooted lmao

Just on the drugs are mugs bit, full saying, least here in Northern Ireland/UK/Ireland is: drugs are for mugs, mugs are for tea, and tea is for me
Jets hat may want to ease up on the scones before filming.

This is my favourite episode! It's honestly comical, so glad I'm here early, I've been waiting on this one x
Rock the boat is a very real thing fwiw
Also the way Orla touched the body is not uncommon at Irish wakes haha
we do the same in puerto rico, maybe its just a catholic thing :D
