Gideon Falter, who was wearing a kippah skullcap and carrying a bag with his prayer shawl, was told by a Met Police sergeant his presence at a pro-Palestine rally in London could inflame tensions.
Stephen says Met commissioner Sir Mark Rowley's policing strategy "clearly discriminates against innocent Jewish Londoners".

The officer involved deserves our support. Gideon Falter should be charged with wasting police time.

There are many openly jewish people on the march and non of them felt threatened or abused. So why was this individual a victim of hate? Can we have more details please because this doesn't make sense.

@@chatham43 we should be against hate and protect every citizen including our jewish brethren. I've been to many marches and spoken to many wonderful jewish people and non felt threatened. I watched the video and this individual refused to listen to the police who were trying to do their job. If you ban marches then we should also ban every football match because I've felt threatened by football fans and police have stop me from going into places for my own safety. Hundreds of thousands come out to these marches and we get less arrests and problems than a sat football match. Let's all be sensible now and protect our freedoms as well as protecting our citizens equally.

I dont see it that way personally. hamas started this latest round of violence, then hide behind their own people. I 100% back Israil in their right to retaliate. While civilian casualties and deaths are unfortunate - its simply unavoidable in modern warfare. If they wanted to stop this, they should hand over members of Hamas. This ISNT to say that Israel haven't gone too far - they have. The retaliation is now way over the initial incident, but given Hamas's stated intent to annihilate Israel - I cant blame them for retaliating with the same goal. The issue is very complex, and both sides go over the top, both sides dont care about civilian casualties really (Including Hamas.......). Ultimately you have a nations military and a terrorist group, and this says it all to me. Ther eis nothing wrong with the British Media - I feel they have been very balanced all in, if anything there is more support for Palestine than Israel IMO - certainly they have swung that way over time. I also dont think any other country should be having demonstrations, or making "policies" - it really is nothing to do with anyone other than israil and Palestine, the only exception would be the UN.

I think the whole world is finally waking up to who the real victims are in this debate.
He seemed antagonistic to me, he didn't even appear slightly intimidated more entitled and yes everyone should be able to walk freely in all parts of this country yet at the same time plenty of Jewish people actually march alongside everyone else and they are under no threat so what was it about this individual that would have caused a stir? I've seen hasidic Jews on these marches and you can't get a more open display of your religion than that!

I was there before the police arrived, his group was walking the opposite way in the middle of the protesters but there was free space on both pavements. His group was not crossing the road like they saying it on the media. Do not forget there was a pro-Israeli protest less than 50 meters away, and his group was walking towards that. To me it looked like he was trying to start something. There was a lot of openly Jewish people marching with us.

-Slander
-Wasting Police time
-Obstructing justice
-Harrassment and stalking of Police officer

I tried to cross the road in Leyton when the police stopped and told me that i couldn’t. Guess why? The late queen was in a building visiting a charity’s office and was told to keep walking straight or I would be arrested. This things happen. He’s not special because he’s Jewish and tried to cross into march heading in one direction.
