Long-time riding buddies Spencer and Donny have grown apart in their riding ways. One is the ultra XC hardtail guy and the other is stuck in a world of Downhill (and Rainer). Awesome videos! Almost makes me want to act stupid and try to do what they are doing. At 62 with a fixed triple fused broken neck and a 3x bypassed heart attack. I will stick with gravel and easy single track here in Wisconsin. But I miss those good old days. Used to do it without suspension.

DONT BUY A KONA!
They will find any excuse to not honour their warranty policy! I had a carbon Kona frame develop a crack in the bottom bracket, first they told me it wasn’t cracked, it was just the paint, from a safety point of view this is a very irresponsible reply.
Canyon replaced my spectral frame within two weeks of me sending them photos, no stress and no money down the drain, Kona just aren’t big enough to stand behind what they’re selling

I don't really have a dog in the fight, but my recent experience was that they warrantied my Hei Hei frame even though I hadn't ever registered it so technically it was out of the not-registered warranty period. No one even brought it up, just offered replacement frame or discount on a fully built 2020 bike the same day I dropped it off at the dealer. I also went through a dealer who was on the opposite side of the country from where I originally bought the bike, too, so it's not like I was particularly tight with the dealer.
