This bridge is lifeline of goa, especially to people who go to work or college from south to north goa(panaji) or vice versa, before this new zuari bridge every single evening there used to be a huge traffic on both side of old zuari bridge, it used to take at least 45min-1hr+ to cross old zuari bridge on weekdays, and now easily within 2-3mins, and also continuation of new zuari bridge till panaji/verna reduces travel time significantly by atleast 20min(north to south/vice versa). With regards to illegals, you can't fault them. They did take up the issue in the form of NRC and CAA. I think this will be their next target. I don't think BJP forgets it's core issues. They might take time and but they will eventually do it.

I remember almost missing my parents bus to Mumbai because of traffic jam that happens on the bridge on every evening. The approaching road was under construction 5years ago. Thank god, now I can plan again to visit GOA😍
