GX has been having issues with youtube playback. ive had to go into settings i didnt even know existed to get a decent buffer space. when i attempted to bring these issues up to the GX mods and tech support in their discord i was lead around a loop for 6 days with useless information that wasnt remotely connected to the issue. if you want to use GX, i wont stop you. but know if you have problems their team will belittle you and talk smack when you leave the server if you try to raise enough awareness to things that can be harmful in the background.

Tips for readers: If you are over encumbered / looting in combat areas, put the 'drop-able' gear in a duffle bag, and just drop the bag. 1 handed weapons work well with this, it's much quicker to drop and pick up, prevents overheating (increases stamina and reduces water intake) and is less mind taxing.
Also when looting houses, i'll take garbage bags from nearby bins, fill them up per house and leave them on the side of the road. At the end of the day i'll drive my van around and dump them all in the back. Keeps you from being over encumbered, great for being a loot goblin and stock piles garbage bags for rain collectors
I prefer just to work on my strength before going into combat. Having the fire axe as your melee weapon makes a huge difference. I'd rather just not be overencumbered. A failure to plan, is a plan to fail.
Whenever I want to quickly level electrical. I go to restaurant kitchens. The hand towel dispensers, hoods over the ovens, fryers, and anything that can be taken apart with a screwdriver offers fantastic experience.
Don't know if any motivated modders are out there, but idea for a simple mod. Call it MY HAT! add an option to quick-grab hats off the ground but you need an empty hand to do so and have the character do a little half crouch run as they pick any item classifed as a hat quickly. bonus points if you make it get equipped to secondary hand
Set a preference option for hat types (like an item whitelist) I LOVE the cowboy hats and that's the main hat type I would go for (basically just an item whitelist lol)

Raven creek is a behemoth of a mod It’s got its flaws but from my personal experience playing, it is by far the most immersive project zomboid experience yet. The environmental design is phenomenal from both a storytelling and combat perspective. The whole city feels like a maze of concrete filled with hidden loot and the stories of previous survivors before you. This mod is so much fun and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who feels like they want more from the vanilla experience
The existence of M60s in Zomboid's Kentucky arsenals begs the question: How did the military fall to the zombies? 1 dude with an M60 and an armoury's worth of .308 can apparently wipe a small city of undead out.
People dying of the airborne virus in the camps, and in Louisville, then turning. Panicking, going awol, getting attacked from front and behind after they opened fire on civilians which led to the LV exclusion fence being knocked down by a horde and likely attacked from behind from infected in LV drawn by the commotion. The civilians they shot also turned cause its an everybody is infected deal. Soldiers run out of ammo on them, then get trapped in the armory or can't reach it. A big thing to keep in mind is that only 10% of the world population in '93 were immune to the airborne virus Zombie apocalypses like Zomboid with an airborne strain that either kills you or makes you a carrier are ones nobody can really contain.
to be honest im not surprised they died their green camo jacket has like 40 bite prot, and the vest adds like 50 but only on upper torso and lower torso... smh.. they all got airborne then got easily bit due to their bad clothing he he he
For the same reason you can keep bashing Zombie heads for hours on end every day without ripping up your hands or experiencing strain injuries, the same reason you can break a crowbar by hitting squishy humans, why you can stuff things like generators and sledgehammers inside your backpack alongside an assortment of random junk, why you can chop trees and process them into logs in less than an hour and why you can shoot a gun non-stop hundreds and thousands of times without ever performing maintenance. Game logic. You need a reliable place to find and loot guns and ammunition and you need to be in a city full of zombies. So the military needs to have lost the fight and their equipment, leaving plenty for you to take.
Raven Creek has been one of my favourite map mods of all time. Did my first year+ run in raven creek and multiple after that. It's just such a great map coupled with other mods. Even with what you think is too much ammo raven creek will show you otherwise.

Pretty much everyone I’ve watched on RUclips or played with online has a totally unique play style, it really speaks volumes about the diversity and replay-ability of this game. I would consider myself a project zomboid veteran with over 500 hours of playtime And I’m pretty damn good at the game. But we play the game very differently and I think that’s cool as fuck.
a tip for life and living, sometimes you can catch the show up to an hour late, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (probably a TV was on with the show and you were nearby)

I easily spend too long playing this game. I love the idea of a crazy challenge with a worthwhile reward. I turn up the zombies, turn off respawn, and have them spread very slowly. I enjoy having a difficult time clearing out an area, and then claiming it as a reward, while still needing to be cautious of any that wander back in over time. Because of the no respawn, and wandering, I can always come back to an area I struggle with and it will have become easier after they thinned out a bit.
when i fight hordes like this, often when i turn to run my character take a half step backwards and puts me right into the arms of Zeds although they rarely actually get me when it happens. I've tried different ways to prevent this, such as beginnign to walk away first, however the time it takes to do it that way is usually even worse than just accepting the chance of a backward step. However, looking at your play, i'm not seeing the backward steps nor the walking away frist. how are you executing that turn to run exactly?
He is staying in the "aim mode" when he turns away, then he walks/runs, this prevents you from backstepping since you are already looking at where you plan to go

He forgot to turn off the traveling setting and the zombies were being teleported from all around the map to the edge of Louisville making it essentially a "clear the map" mission instead of a clear Louisville mission iirc

With Opera I love it, really do, would love to totally switch over but theres 1 miiiiiinor.. glaring issue. It randomly makes downloads go down to about 60kbps if a file is over about a gig or so. Thats just not acceptable.
Why do you do so much damage to zombies? I feel like when I'm wiping hordes with a shotgun even level 5 aiming still doesn't give me critical damage consistently. I can waste 200 shotgun shells on like 500 zombies because of this.

There's a mod called Grab n drop which kinda does what you described but for corpses, dropped items, bags and clothing items

1911 is actually M19! It's one of the most powerful 45 calibers and has a shit recoil!!!!

Not an m19, the mark 19 mod3 is a 40mm grenade laucher machine gun. The m1911a1 is a 45 auto colt pistol(acp).

With zombie respawns turned off the zombies migrate around but they can’t get through structures in sim mode so yes no more zombies will come in

when u stand right front it, it only shows 3box not stacked all 9. some kind of life hack i guess
