People doing piano covers that included guitar solos usually skip those parts or can't stick with the original.
Vika does it all perfect. She adapts even the most complicated guitar solos to piano and plays it.

you can an modify something: at 01:12 A flat instead of A natural(you can confuse with a pentatonic,but if you listen carefully the fourth grade is brought)and in the point "cannot stop the battery" the bass makes D sharp at the second syllable of "battery", and no F sharp (between 01:42 and 01:43 ). But you can do as you will.

@lamerical Of course covers display talent. They can display your mastery over your instrument, your skill at creating a unique interpretation of another artist's piece. The talent they don't display is specifically songwriting talent, but there's a lot more to musicianship than just that.

@lamerical I respect your opinion but I'm confused as to how the cover only showcases the original artist's talent. Wouldn't it take talent itself to showcase the artist's talent in the first place? Like, if you played a van halen solo with consistency and accuracy, wouldn't it be talent that allowed the person to do that? Also, it's battery on a piano. That's some talent.
