I began my battle with depression at the age of 9, and it has continued on-and-off for the past six years. At the age of 12, I was accepted into our church's Sunday worship team, the youngest member then and still. In one of the set-lists I've participated in sending forth to Jesus Christ, we played your Psalm 23. Beforehand, I had never heard of your group, or had heard a single line of any of your songs. But when I heard "Hallelujah, I am not alone..." I broke down on my bed and began to scream - not the type of screams that result from extreme pain, but the kinds which come from regret and remorse. Thank you, P&S. You have literally changed my life because I'm not sure where I would be if I had not heard those words. From Psalm 23 to AMEN to Throne Room Song to Divine Exchange... Hallelujah, He gave ALL to give ME life!!

May the LORD bless and keep you saint of GOD, born again of His Holy Spirit! I don't know what depression is like - the chronic sort that leads to that icy-cold blackness that clings to your shoulders and leaves you as breathless as it does hopeless, but I saw what it did to my mother for more than a decade of her life. Even after she followed me in receiving Christ as her LORD and Savior, it hung on to her tenaciously, but she was finally delivered of that oppression by the LORD.
I thank GOD that you also were set free and rejoice with you in your liberation from that horrid state of heart and mind!
May the LORD continue to bless and keep you saint of GOD!

People & Songs runs an annual songwriting camp for Christian teenagers to help instill a love for the Bible and worship of Christ. The songs written during that week are the videos you see. They were recorded the last night of camp. We do not have a camp planned for 2021 due to Covid.
