Daf lf . Common for mayo oil condensation issues. Especially if only local runs. Head goes on the compressor. Common fault. Had plenty in my time chris Struggle on haha
@Professional-struggler I'd like to think you'd of known otherwise by now if it wasn't. I remember looking after a few lfs that were part of a fleet of carpet/under lay deliveries. They had 1 lf that was a sleeper cab and that driver was a tramper. When you pulled his dipstick or oil cap. (Especially the oil behind the front grill) It was spotless. The other 2 which were local all the time. It was like opening a jar of mayo. Like it for years

Chris you can never get a reading on the LF dipstick..it will always have water droplets on it ..Mainly due to the length of the tube ...Will say 4 screws hold the steering resovoir on and it just pops off ,would have helped get the awkward bolts out...Good to see you timed it lol yep it is timed lol,,There will be hundreds running about not timed up ,,It is to stop engine vibration
I had this on an A40GVOLVO DUMPER 2 fully qualified fitters spent all day lap top en all trying to work out y it wouldn't do a regen and couldn't work out y!!! I done the same as u undid the main pipe on the compressor to find it was making no air!!!the regen uses air from compressor to help the burn process but I was lucky it was just the head gasket on the compressor so I made one out of copper job done !!!sweet Chris m8 keep em comin

Great vid mate but on the daf compressor job it doesn’t take all that long to remove the power steering reservoir and pump separate to the compressor without touching the ecu if you ever need to try 😊

Yeah definitely mate or the page was missing and these sat navs can't be trusted either I know a bloke who has his own heavy haulage firm and he was following his sat nav and it took him down this road where there was a cliff edge at the end luckily someone was coming the other way stopped him but he had to reverse half a mile good job I wasn't map reading for him 🤣
