I don't see why anyone would be upset. We all knew how this fight ended. Sanguinius acts exemplary here, though Horus' "gimmick" during these last 3 books kept it from being boring, in my opinion.
One of the clou moments of the entire universe of 40k. Now only the best part left. Although i was almost sure they wouldnt be able to capture the epicness of such battle.
Oh, no. The plot point written that I've dreaded listening to, perhaps the most, that I delayed doing so until the end of my weekend instead of its beginning. Which is not meant as a sleight - rather, it's a credit to the ability of the Black Library writers to have created, managaed, nurtured and cultivated such an idolized fictional character that never has nor ever will exist. As well as to the GrimDark Narrator's ability to convey. Horus, you'd really thought Sanguinius might join you? That was the Ruinous Powers' thinking, speaking, or your mind, your self and your id are utterly broken and in possession, like an untired-of toy, of the Chaos Gods. Chaotic in faculty while still a master of war in action. Even fraternal termination...and here, time itself seems to be slowed to near stillness at the moment of execution. Maybe indicative of the concentration of control the Ruinous Powers are exerting over Lupercal's, such as he remains, soul. A level of command the Gods HAVE to exert, to force the Arch-Douche to kill not an Angel but The Angel. Thank you, GDN. As sorrowful as this excerpt is. Your animation added to the background/thumbnail still image gives even more suitable meaning throughout this crushing recounting; splintering bone and heart. Justice, retribution and vengeance must follow. Now having finally listened to this, I look forward to your following excerpt Narrations. In the meantime, be well, have a healthy and awesome day.
I wonder, if we see the Loyalists Primarhes and others. Talk to Sanguinius body one by one to say their goodbyes, to their beloved angel brother. But what do you guys think? 😢

I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about the Angels death scene. In one sense it’s heroic, we all knew it was coming. In another way it looks like he got his ass handed to him. Good read though. Thank you for this excerpt.
I was really impressed by the bravery of how the fight with Sanguinis played out... I can imagine a significant chunk of the fandom being upset by it.
