I have M. Kansasii in my hand of all places. not fun, it has caused significant damage to my hand and wrist. hopefully with this second surgery and regimen of 5 different pills sprinkled with a dash of good luck my hand will be returned because this has left me disabled for 66 weeks & 2 days or 1 year, 3 months & 7 days. NOTE i have only been taking these pills starting about 2 months ago.. LONG ROAD AHEAD... this video is similar and uses the same slides this channel put out in 2013, with same "A Typical Mycobacteria" joke. however the information is updated. both are full of wonderful useful information, i recommend watching both. [this took forever to type with my one non dominant hand]
my partner is down to 6 stone hes 6 foot 2 from this infection , i think i have it too. im scared it will kill my partner as its destroyed his lungs heart and digestive system. i also worry the drugs they will soon put him on will finish him off, this illness is truly wicked.

I have it in my right lung and it caused two holes to form so I feel your pain
So do the ID doctors know all of this? During treatment will there be a lot of yeast infections? How will my lower GI deal with so much antibiotics?
