Sid played high school hockey out here in Minnesota for one year (just up the hill from where I live). He left and then Toews shows up for two years at the same school. It's kind of crazy. I have my 25 year reunion in 2020 from the same school. Yikes! I'm too old.

Solid case, couple bad hits but a few really nice ones. I've heard a lot of people say on RUclips they don't like Buybacks so glad to see someone else who likes the product. The blue inked young guns are all to the jersery number. You can get cards though that aren't signed, I've gotten one in one of my boxes. Black Diamond is a really over priced product, I wouldn't really recommend. Cup on the other hand is a solid product, I'm surprised you don't like it. You should open some 18-19 Premier, I'm a big fan of that product

In hockey for Upper Deck the two half cases are called inner cases. The two together would be called a master case. Same with The Cup. Six box master case or three box inner.
They put 97 hand numbered Connor McDavid autographed Young Guns into 2017-18 Upper Deck SP Authentic if you want to chase one. I think the Young Guns auto for McDavid in Buybacks is an acetate.

You can also use an eraser to dull down some of the gloss so the auto will stick and not fade. Nice pulls btw

Open up some Series Two, I was lucky enough to hit a Ovechkin 1/1 Young Guns. 16/17 The Cup is pretty good for resale, especially Matthews. Anything 15-16 for the hunt for McDavid. Buybacks and Clear-cut are nice as well because they also have McDavid "Rookies"

Phil you could order some Panini Prime hockey. It's an older higher end product that was great. Or Panini National Treasures hockey or Panini Dominion hockey. All old products because Panini lost the NHL contract, but interesting stuff. Akin to The Cup and Ultimate Collection.

If you contact UD and and explain about the auto being blotchy.... they will hook you up with a replacement or similar quality autos. I recently sent them an email about a 1 of 5 baseball card auto that had that rubbed look on the auto and they sent me 2 duel autos having Puckett Molitor and Doc Strawberry ... I was happy with their customer service.
I also attached a couple pics of the card so they knew I wasn't B.S ing them
Necas is a good prospect. Got rushed up a few years ago but he is basically a first year guy this season. Nice pulls.

Buybacks is so hit or miss but the base cards look so cool.
Parallels aren't inserted per case either.. I've seen cases with no parallels.. if I remember, there are some non autos in these..

Phil I'm sure I am one of few subscribers that doesn't have social media, so maybe it's not worth the time, but it would be awesome if every few months you did a follow up video of updates that you got answers for after posting. Example: the scratch off card this video, Tim Horton's on the other video. If you didn't want to do that maybe consider just a quick update at the beginning or end of the first video you do after finding out. Love the products, love the videos, will watch even if you don't decide to do this.

You should open some SP Authentic hockey.
I enjoyed this. The Black Diamond stuff was just meh to me. It feels like they try to make it too flashy/blingy and it's a bit distracting. I absolutely loved the Hall pull, but ugh...seeing him toil away on my Devils and just get traded hurts, but I'll always be a fan after winning the Hart trophy the other year. Keep doing this set, please.

I recently pulled a McDavid YG auto /25 from the 2019-20 buybacks. Beckett can’t tell me anything, EBay doesn’t have any except from the /97 buybacks from a few years ago. I’ve had some pretty solid offers and don’t want to leave $ on the table. At the same time, the collector in me is saying “keep it”.
I’m seeking advice from everywhere.
What would you think it’s value would be? Would you sell it? Or keep it? To add a sick note: I’ve watched hours of buybacks breaks on RUclips and haven’t seen a McDavid YG auto yet..
My advice would be sell it to me
