You guys did a better job at promoting Sucre than the autonomous municipal government of Sucre. I’m Bolivian and I thought Sucre was like La Paz until I saw this
Wow this is great! I lived in Sucre for 6 months in 2018 and had the opportunity to experience a majority of the places you’ve mentioned and really “become a local” in the same way. It really is a magical city! And I’m glad you showed a little bit of the not-so-white half… I lived right on the upper side of the Campesino and that side is really a different experience altogether 😅
Great video, we have just visited Sucre and also would like to add its worth visiting the former president House which is very close to the castle and this is free entry but donations are accepted.
Hello, I have just found your channel, and it’s really good. You two are so down to earth and are eminently watchable. I am a teacher and hoping to retire abroad. Pension pot is not enormous but I am considering Sucre. Done homework and it seems you can live comfortably for around 600 quid p/m. I would love your honest opinion on this city. Thanks ever so much. May all your travels be safe ones Ant p UK
Thank you so much, we really appreciate it and glad you think so. Sucre is a fantastic city! We lived there for about 4 or five months in 2019 and absolutely fell in love with the place. It would be a great retirement city and your budget sounds about right, it’s definitely very affordable. Our day job is actually our website and we have quite a bit more info on there - thewholeworldornothing.com/?s=Sucre - feel free to check it out. And if you have any specific qs you think we may be able to help with, give us a shout. Cheers
@@TheWholeWorldorNothing Thanks ever so much for such a prompt reply. I am a Geography teacher, so love these types of videos. All the best Take care Ant P
Antonio Jose de Sucre was Simon Bolivar's lieutenant, Simon refused to be the first president, so Sucre took over. By the way Sucre is a Flemish or from Belgium origin last name. Sucre is Bolivia's Constitutional Capital.
Very unhelpful budget wise. But great city, very intertaining. Sucre is one of the cheapest places in Bolivia. You can live for under 1000usd and live good.
Sucre es una maravilla, una ciudad muy linda, tranquila y limpia 🤗
