I have a wild theory. It’s the Enterprise. The ISS Enterprise. And it’s being captained by Prime Lorca trying to get home.

DEFINITELY the Enterprise as you can clearly see "1 7 0 1" and almost fully make out the name Enterprise but seems like it's the ISS Enterprise and not our current USS Enterprise with Pike/Kirk.
There is Terran Empire livery/logos in the sickbay scenes. You can see the sword on the monitors
I personally would love that but have doubts.

Its never been documented what happened to that ship after the TOS episode, I think now we find out its fate.
...it's revealed in Enterprise that the ship was pulled there by the Tholians. We know exactly what happened to it, this just breaks canon even further.

It's not the Defiant. In the Season 2 episode when they pull up the info on the ISS Defiant they show that the Defiant has Modified Pylons with Mega Phasers on them as well as cut outs on the primary hull for extra weapons ports. Though it may indeed be a Terran ship it has not been modified so it is not the Defiant.
How sure are you that that ship is the USS Defiant ? Also do you have any updates on Section 31 ?
Unless the Defiant changed its registry to 1701 that is the Original Enterprise

@@thomashong2938 from the picture I took of it that is a C before the 1701 it is the Original Enterprise not the Mirror. Which neither would make sense in the 30th century
@@Dseagles14 Both the USS and ISS Enterprise had the registry NCC-1701
@@Dseagles14 The Original would not have the Mirror’s imperial symbol on the visual displays in its sickbay. Both Original and Mirror ships used NCC registry numbers.
Sorry I was wrong I was confusing USS and ISS both the mirror and prime used NCC. and upon looking further I can partly see the mirror symbol
To me that does read 1701 on the hull, then again the 0 and the 1 have battle damage and mist/fog covering it so it could still very well be 1764, the Defiant.
But if it is the ISS Enterprise, it does look very banged up. I know we see the ship moving, but it seems to have no power at all. It'd be kinda cool if this was a Ghost ship, where Burnham and Book find the dead bodies of mirror spock and the crew with their facial features still recognizable.
I don't know what the registry number of the Defiant was but on the saucer here I see 170, I don't see the 1701 as listed below. So disappointed that this is still 1080p in the last season and not 4k. I watched Reacher, Masters of the Air, Monarch, Legecy of Monters, and even the new Frasier, all in 4k.
I second everyone seeing Enterprise "In a Mirror Darkly 1 &2" if they haven't already.

What you will see is Picard Mirror vers and his crew just to please TNG fans
In A Mirror Darkly proves that Disco and SNW didn't need to "update" the Connie's appearance.
It'll be interesting to see what type of Starship that is because it doesn't look like it's configured like the Defiant's last configuration at all. Enterprise couldn't be there, so I'm really not getting it it must be a total red herring, or Mirror G, from Sec 31 sent it w/o crew. This could also help connect the episode of Star Trek shorts that we've all been confused with for a very long time which leads me to believe that a lot of the original cast is going to go way back home....
Im going to take a stab at the fact the Progenitor tech is all about the Mycellial Network and Stammets has to "do a decker" and merge with it. The throw away lines about needing purpose and disco being unique
One last thing I promise that looks like a tractor beam pulling that Constitution or like class ship out of that cloud what do you think

Maybe, but Tilly can be seen with the same stuff on her face. Probably a surgical alteration to mingle in with a different species not connected to Book.
If this is the Enterprise, it will make its second appearance in this series and I’m looking forward to it..!

It’s the ISS Enterprise, 1701 visible. Probably from after TOS “Mirror, Mirror” episode. Wonder if they will have some of the Strange New Worlds cast make a cameo as their Terran counterparts.

It has "1701" on the saucer and we've seen a sickbay with Terran Empire symbols.
I believe it's the ISS Enterprise in the trailer. Zoom in on the top of the saucer section and it looks to have 1701 on it.

I mean, Discovery was augmented with programmable matter it would be quite easy for the ship to take its original configuration and then trust Z. Does this mean that this occurred after they had gone to the Future? Z may have been around and/or part of the sphere? Never was sure, or missed it. I'm just now going back to try to figure that out if Z is waiting before, or after they go to the Future. I have an actual humorous sounding but maybe serious ending to for z or discovery which is she became so loyal as to take the Old Yeller exit sort of they couldn't destroy the ship and it was so loyal it add promise to wait 900 years for the crew and of course they would most all be dead by then- boioioioioing!
Oh, it's giving me headache, now I know what Janeway mean. Sometimes we except things that are noticeably, yet not shocking, so thing don't get worse by opening your mouth about et😊

if you freeze the video of the ship in the nebula im pretty sure you can make out the defiant registry number
Actually it's Enterprise. You can clearly see it says "1 7 0 1" and you can barely make out the words "Enterprise" but it's probably the ISS Enterprise...how and why we don't know. I wonder if Shatner will be making a cameo....

After only watching episode 1, i cant wrap my head around how they have learned nothing. Speedrun through world building in favor of cheap against the clock thrills. Seriously 5 times in the first episode?
Its obvious they dont know what to do with such a large cast. Even the ones they have written off are being shoehorned in. No consequences from the last season for anyone.
On top of all that, some sort of weird character reset for most of the cast. As if all the growth this far means nothing.
It wants to be coy and exciting but doesnt do either. The doc and stammus (spelling) seemed to not want to be there or were just given really bad dialogue.
Why is their child still there? They only have one expression and that is "i stepped in something I shouldn't have and im disgusted i like it".
All the important stuff was just thrown out with the most boring exposition any trek has seen.
I find nothing redeeming in Enterprise but i wish that they were behind this instead of whatever this is.
As someone who has been waiting for more exploration into the progenitor mess, I will obviously continue to the end of the season. They are on thin ice like star wars after Picard (all seasons) fight me, and Discovery.

What's really funny is the desperation to copy Season 3 of Picard with Kurtzman being a terrible writer who just copies other things like the cringe of The Mummy where he litrally copied the plot of Cannon movie Life Force, and now he's trying to tie the vapid nonsense of discovery to classic TNG and TOS that's already been done better in Enterprise

Discovery just seems to be getting better and better, and of course they want to cancel it. Crazy!
I don't know what the hell is wrong with Paramount these days. Next thing you know they're going to tell us they're going to cancel Strange New Worlds because it's too popular or something dopey like that. Apparently, there are two new episodes of Prodigy that aired in Germany and nobody knows about them? Weird!
It’s expensive and Paramount was in dire straights and were drowning trying to find a buyer. So they panicked last year and canceled a ton of stuff. Between the 2 main Treks shows Strange New Worlds was getting more views. However Paramount/CBS seems to be having a better year and have recently rejects some buyout offers. I’d doubt they would reverse the cancellation of Disc, but hopefully SNW won’t end up on the chopping block after the next season. Prodigy? They just did that show dirty, someone in leadership just didn’t like it for some reason.
