the most fun i've had with anime in a long while, all the characters have things going on for them, they don't try to outmatch others, they are not forced to do killings either so you can see they actually develop as friends in a non forceful way.
really glad i picked this up

That's because the Manga style is way to clean
This was such a good anime I really wish it gets a season 2, after all a lot of things went by unanswered. The colors, Onigasaki and Roromori were talking about, what's the past about how Roromori knows Iride, what happens after 100 Million views, what happened to the past units, why are they sent to the island to do challenges, and are there really people outside to seek out for help, and what is Paka's real identity ? We'll never know so hopefully a season 2 is on its way, this was a good anime, I loved all the characters and lore behind them.
I’ve been so suspicious of Iride that it hurts.
First, he was born on April 1st, which yes I know some people are born on that day, but maybe

Secondly, he’s always wanting to play a game which seems suspicious, since everyone else is
Acting like a real person if they were in this position.
Thirdly, he’s too.. nice? I know a lot of people have that kind of personality, but he’s nice to the alpaca who
literally kidnapped them to play a life and death game. He cheered up people to probably still play the game possibly? He feels like a.. support character like in a game who’s there if you need help. Or a npc.
Fourthly, His eyes glow? For me it’s just suspicious because nobody else’s eyes glow except a person who keeps tract of everyone and have their information for alpaca. (I forgot her name yikes-)
My theory is that he’s dead, he’s not real, he’s just someone who works for the alpaca, or maybe a split personality? Still love him though

Even though Iride is the main protagonist, if you watched the anime the smart one is Zakuro Oshigiri. He can fight, looks badass, and has the iq of Newton and Einstein along with Sherlock perception all combined.

Anyone starting anime, I beg you to read the manga. A lot of scenes and dialogues were cut so we miss interesting and frightening information (Paca burning bodies, for example) and characters (they seem too stiff in the anime because of cut little dialogues). Check the manga and see all of this and more, please.

I randomly watched this anime because it had nice character designs and a balance in the number of male and female characters, but i ended up liking it better than I expected to. It's got so many heartwarming, funny and mysterious moments and I would recommend you to watch it if you haven't already.
