- Israel said two male Israeli hostages have been rescued in Rafah, as Israeli air strikes hit the southern Gazan city.
One official from the Hamas-run health ministry said 48 Palestinians were killed in the strikes, while another says it's "about 100".
The Israeli military said Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Louis Har, 70, were rescued from an apartment in Rafah during the raid, which was accompanied by “aerial coverage and a wave of strikes".
The strike follows warnings from the international community over Israel's planned offensive in the city, where 1.5 million people are sheltering.

I promised myself to leave this comment under every video related to the topic of the war in Gaza. 134 people have been held hostage in Gaza for 129 days. Some of them are wounded - their wounds do not receive any medical treatment, some of them are chronically ill - they do not receive their medications, some are kept in cages deep underground, some are in daily danger of sexual violence. The oldest hostage is 85, the youngest is 9 months. If you have ever had children, think about how 4 months of living without proper nutrition and all the procedures that babies around the world go through at that age will affect his development. Hamas started this war, Hamas can end it.
