I have took a *random number example* to find *mod*. Depending on sum you get in exam, you have to use your number and calculate *mod*. And it is 13^23

How to calculate a mod(b) in one step
in your calculator go to BASE-N mode and in Dec
type
a-a/b*b
Eg 147 mod 17
147-147/17*17 = 11 in Dec of BASE-N mode
you will get 11 as answer
OR
in COMP mode of your calculator
carry out simple division and then press shift fraction key to get answer in mixed fraction
Eg: 147 mod 17 = 8.647058824
then shift fraction key
8 (11/17) here numerator is the answer => 11
