FR his model is so much better than the 2D art. At first, I was neutral about his design, but when I actually see him in game, I keep admiring his face lmao
For players who invested in Calcharo, dunno if this will ever be the case for WuWa but for PGR, Kuro does buff some of the old units to breathe some new life into them (called in-game as the Leap System), essentially transforming their playstyle into something fresh for the character so players who have hyper-invested in old, powercrept units will have reasons to play them outside of nostalgia / stubborn favoritism amidst the changing meta (in addition to the fact that some game modes require multiple built units to challenge, like Stronghold, Border Pact, Norman Revival Plan, & Babel Tower, while others like Simulated Siege would limit your number of selectable units which may include, but not limited to, old units). There are so-called free patches in PGR wherein Kuro would just give the players a free A / S-Rank which allow players to either save their Black Cards (the in-game gacha currency for PGR), or pull for more copies & sig weapon. Considering the fact that 1.2 can be seen as WuWa's first free patch depending on how you look at it, it's not unreasonable to believe that WuWa might also implement an equivalent to PGR's Leap System somewhere in the future, meaning Calcharo may not be done yet. It's just a possibility. For now.

Off topic but with the added/edited voice lines....I just had to check and see if Yangyang's lines were done any differently or improved. 10/10, they are NIGHT AND FREAKING DAY SO MUCH BETTER. Only one gasp when she sprints, instead of the awkward pant they had the VA record, and her tone for when she attacks sounds more mature and more in-line with the character.

Picked Calcharo from the 80 pull Selector myself and I regret it. Wish I picked Encore, Prioritized both Danjin and Jiyan before Calcharo, Got Yinlin for Calcharo, then pulled Jinshi and Yinlin went to her team. Now with Zhezhi, my Yinlin and Xiangli Yao get to team
He feels like they looked at Calcharo and went "Man, we fucked that up. What if we tried to fix him?" But then some suit said that it had to be a new unit because if they spent time redesigning the character then it had to be sold as a limited character, and the compromise that reached internally was to just give him away for free and make money from a Weapon Banner/Sequences. If Calcharo never shows up in the story, I am going to be 100% convinced that this is true.
Tbh, we kinda see this happen for a while. Yinlin existance mean new electro dps, same for zhezhi now, i will bet that shorekeeper is glacio dps that main dmg come from resonance skill too XD
Calcharo is probably gonna show up in the new federation since he's part of some zone there, where mercenaries are normal. One idea I got is that he will act as an escort/accompany us and teach us the ways to navigate that area
I had a weird bug, I was doing the current event and right at the start after going to the wishing stall with Xiangli Yao I saw Calcharo standing on the way there. I immedietly went to try to interact with him and he had an option to "take a selfie with Calcharo" and before I could press it he jus dissapeared on me out of nowhere! I thought he finally gets some screen time ^^'
Def wish a lot of streamers didn’t glaze up Calcharo on release especially when Yin Lin released because I got both them. Luckily I stopped putting resources into him by lvl 70 but I had already leveled all his skills to 6 and got all the crit/attk and extra forte bonuses.
It's funny; normally, it's a skill issue plus RUclipsrs overhyping. Calch can do the tower in 1 minute like the best teams in the game. (Funny thing: Changli is a better sub in the game, even for Calch; Yinlin is more of a flop, I think). But yeah, if you know the rotation during Death Messenger and the CD time of the rest of the team ( the big mechanic is use this window for use E, ult, active echo etcs, the window is sufficient for verina E plus yinlin 2E or ult + echo), it's the most fun character."

I'm not a theorycrafter but in my calcs his best team deals just a little bit more damage than Jinhsi at S0, you need his weapon though and Yinlin but other than that he is looking really strong
Something to keep in mind if you're a battlepass gamer, you can get the bp gauntlet to r5 and it give the same lib bonus (52%), it has less base atk and only 20% crit instead of 24%. But it should be only a 10% dps loss, so if you are looking to save astrites for maybe yinlin rerun/stringmaster/shorekeeper and her support weapon, or even cammelya/future units then it's a good option.
Problem is nobody has R5 BP weapons, and those few that chose the guantlets since launch wont for another 3 months. He'll probably rerun twice before most people have access to them, and will likely be severely power crept anyway by that time. Its actually easier to just pull his guantlets since there's no 50/50 to lose.

And I am direction this question to far more experienced wuwa players, the question is: Can I make a good team out of those characters possibly? I will be grateful for an answer, thank you ❤
Yes you can, Encore is best to build for main dps (great basic atk dmg) and Verina for support team (atk butf and heal), Jianxin also good sub dps and team support (shield buff and heal).
MTashed always said he enjoys making guides, I'm surprised he hasn't done more for WuWa. Almost all the YT content is about builds, stats, echoes, talent priority and teams, but *very* little on how to actually play those teams and characters for optimal damage. The rotations are a lot more complex than skill, burst, switch, repeat and each character's Forte is unique enough that finding the fastest way to deal damage or just build energy takes mechanical knowledge that not many talk about.
@Mtashed not sure if you noticed but at 5:10 during his E/skill, you didn’t hold it down or press again, because if you did, he would do some zig zags in the air and then slams the ground with some cubes, so not sure if you missed that or you just didn’t showcase it lol

I think with weapons at least I'm ok having 4 star ER weapon there, and some give good concerto and such boosts so there are sleeper hits in the lower tiers too, at least for supports. Running Calcharo and Jianshin with ER sword (pulled the wrong one at the beginning, but now it's for havoc-rover) and those guys don't need ER at all almost after that so you can try to get good echoes maybe, at least I landed some good ones.
I’ve got me Yinlin and her weapon plus a 43311 moonlit clouds set for her with a total 70%+ crit rate 240%+ crit damage build. I also have enough saved to get Xiangli Yao’s weapon plus a 43311 electro echo set and including the stats from his weapon he will have roughly 70%+ crit rate 260%+ crit damage. I am sitting so good here 😂😂
he could be the worst dps, and i'll still main him. I just love the combat animations and sounds etc. Also i 100% agree about the model. when i first started this video i was like woahhhh lol. the shading and stuff is awesome.
Poor calcharo . The thing is that he has high skill cap and optimization in his rotation to make good dmg and it is not that rewarding but i still love him . And let's not forget that less meta characters in pgr get smtng called leap to buff them so calcharo might get smtng similar in the future
@@pain7482 the By Moon's Grace quest on event page. It consist of major voiced quests and non-voiced side quest, the overall requirement for you to get him is to accumulate 6000 popularity points. You'll see it once you do the quest little by little.
Standard gauntlet 5* weapon will be a good option for him, its not crit rate but the energy regen and bonus attack% will prolly make his playstyle and rotation smoother

I tried hazard with my lv90 jihnsi with 5* standard broadsword and it doable af. As long as u have a viable option for weapon its not hard sigh...

I'm guessing with Yinlin, He'll be in Between my Jiyan, and a Zhezhi Powered Jinshi, If he's more then that, then cool. I Wholeheartdly wished I got Encore instead of Calcharo on the 80 pull Selector. First I got his S1 on Yinlin's Banner and now This guy replaces Calcharo After I get Zhezhi, Might try and get him his Weapon while using the BP weapon as a Placeholder, but will see how the Shorekeeper is Faring and if she's first half or if they'll do a rerun first half.
You can use Yuanwu with Jinhsi. He is very F2P friendly and low investment. I suggest you look into this if you want to save your asterites for another unit.

I also noticed that she speaks a bit faster but still maintains her calm tone. The VA has always been good. It's just really the direction.

Use Encore\Havoc Rover solid dps, use Sanhua as a sub dps and Verina the best supp.Pretty solid team

In the in-game settings 'brightness' is actually gamma so lower the 'brightness' to get more colors

im glad I didnt put a lot of sources on calcharo because of how slow he is to perform.
he could be the worst dps, and i'll still main him. I just love the combat animations and sounds etc. Also i 100% agree about the model. when i first started this video i was like woahhhh lol. the shading and stuff is awesome.
He definitely isnt worst dps. He is like jiyan but abit weak.
He could hit like a wet noodle but his animations alone would make me build him.

Poor calcharo . The thing is that he has high skill cap and optimization in his rotation to make good dmg and it is not that rewarding but i still love him . And let's not forget that less meta characters in pgr get smtng called leap to buff them so calcharo might get smtng similar in the future

@@pain7482 the By Moon's Grace quest on event page. It consist of major voiced quests and non-voiced side quest, the overall requirement for you to get him is to accumulate 6000 popularity points. You'll see it once you do the quest little by little.

@@saadsylas9824 the only issue i had in toa is cuz i dont have a changli I couldn't 3 star that scar fight and my chixia is lvl40 and not built, pretty sure i could do it if i have a changli with 5* emerald sword. I tried hazard with my lv90 jihnsi with 5* standard broadsword and it doable af. As long as u have a viable option for weapon its not hard sigh...
@@eijey9803 It's very very hard to get 3 stars mainly coz of the time limit.I have lv80 changli with her sig weapon and even I couldn't beat that shit.Jihnsi is a diff story though cuz she's the most broken character in the game but in TOA u need 3 teams with very high damage number to beat that in time

I Wholeheartdly wished I got Encore instead of Calcharo on the 80 pull Selector. First I got his S1 on Yinlin's Banner and now This guy replaces Calcharo
After I get Zhezhi, Might try and get him his Weapon while using the BP weapon as a Placeholder, but will see how the Shorekeeper is Faring and if she's first half or if they'll do a rerun first half.
hi, I got yinlin, jihnshi and verina. should I pull for zhezhi and then swap yinlin, then use yinlin with Ziangli?
You can use Yuanwu with Jinhsi. He is very F2P friendly and low investment. I suggest you look into this if you want to save your asterites for another unit.
