    "Metal shows and idol shows have two very different crowds"
    Then there's the tested, proven Baby Metal.

    Man one day I'll be able to see a holo concert live. It will be glorious.

      Im so far away from both the US and JP that any concert will be a full expensive holiday. But I will save and go one day.
      Maybe I can make my first trip to JP and first Holo concert the same trip.

      For me, after experiencing one recently for the first time, (and I've been following hololive for about 4 years), interacting with other fans and cheering with them IRL really changed my perspective on how "real" Hololive is. I hope as many hololive fans can get the opportunity to experience an IRL Holo concert at least once.

    1:55 LOL Hold back on the Mosh Pits. Little did she know, that's already happened (during one of the Opening Acts for Doki & Mint's FantomeThief Concert) where people moshed at essentially a VTuber concert for one song. Most of those same people the next day were at the Atlanta stop for the Hololive Soar Concert Tour.

      The Hamtaro circle is basically a mosh pit already.

      @@bonogiamboni4830 Yep, wasn't the Hamtaro circle. It was during a Limp Bizkit song. Hamtaro far more benign and safer then a Circle Pit, lol.

    I suppose it depends on the talent and the venue. With Calli's upcoming show in Hollywood, there'll probably be a pit that breaks out for some songs. The venue is almost all standing occupancy, she's got some heavier tunes and even mentions moshing in Cult Following.
    My moshing days are sadly behind me now, but I'ma still be there headbanging.

    They got a little bit of a mosh pit going for Maid Mint at Dokibird's concert. I'm an old metalhead so it warmed my cold, dead heart. My current favorite artists are Gojira, Lorna Shore, and Shirakami Fubuki :)

    That Super Chatter can have reassurance in the form of Hakka Banzoin. And if they're looking for metalheads among the girls, then I'd say that Calliope Mori is the most we got so far!

      JP has some metalheads. And to be honest, the Babymetal covers are more metal than Calliope's songs.

    I dunno, a circle pit could work at an idol show, that's just people running around in a circle having a grand old time. Problem is the songs are probably a bit too slow on average to keep up the energy for a prolonged period of time.

    • @softcatmonster
      @softcatmonster 27 дней назад

      Yeah, most of them have a handful of songs that just beg for a mosh pit. Just that there aren't enough of them to keep it up for an entire set.

    If you can't resist doing a mosh pit in a non-heavy concert, you're a tryhard, not a metalhead.
