- The Crimean Peninsula in Ukraine is home to over 2,500 species of plants and fungi and 250 species of animals.
The Crimean Peninsula is divided into two parts. The first one is a steppe area, with huge open spaces and dry, hot summer.
The other part is a coast with a subtropical climate. The natural boundary between the areas is the eye-catching Crimean Mountains with a dormant volcano called Kara-Dag.

to seize the peninsula after the coup in 2014 to spare themselves from madness like in Donetsk and Lugansk.

One prime example is an interview, published a few days ago, with General Zaluzhny, the commander of the AFU, in the Economist - only the most pro-globalist, anti-Russian publication imaginable. This was a very candid interview, in which Zaluzhny was plainly signalling to his Western backers that Ukraine could not expect to win the war. He stated that i) he did not have enough weapons, ammunition or men to launch any kind of serious campaign ii) that the Russian army was a formidable enemy and that their tactics were working iii) that NATO did not have any weapons or ammunition to supply him as they were running short themselves and iv) that Ukraine was suffering particularly heavy losses in Bakhmut: 'Our troops are all tied up in battles now; they're bleeding. They're bleeding.' In the last days Zaluzhny has also called for much tougher penalties for Ukrainian frontline troops that desert, thus indirectly confirming evidence of the collapse in morale and will to fight that is taking place. The reason for this collapse and the mass desertions has been documented by articles in numerous publications, including the FT, the New York Times, The Telegraph, detailing the enormous losses in Ukrainians killed and wounded, particularly in Bakhmut. The New York Times reported that the AFU is losing hundreds of men every day in Bakhmut, in what is undoubtedly the bloodiest battle in the war so far. As long ago as June, the deputy head of Ukraine's military intelligence, Vadim Skibitsky, admitted that Ukraine was vastly outgunned by the Russian army and was losing the artillery war. This situation has only worsened as the US, UK, France, Germany and other NATO members are all publicly admitting - in article after article - that they are running out of weapons to send to Ukraine. This is confirmed by reality; with each announcement of a weapons and ammunition that is made, the quantities are increasingly sparse. I could go on and on citing sources that contradict your cosy little narrative, but understand this - I take no pleasure in the thought of Ukrainian deaths. Every death is a tragedy, and particularly so as this was a war that could have so easily been avoided if foolish Ukrainians had not allowed their heads to be turned by the attentions of the West. NATO is not Ukraine's friend - it only seeks to use Ukraine as a battering ram to kill Russians. NATO doesn't care that Ukraine is being cut to pieces in the process and will be left as a poor, desperately corrupt and shattered state with a depleted population and a collapsed economy. Just like the Nazis before them, who were happy to use the Ukrainians nationalists to do their dirty work, but made plans to exterminate them when it was expedient, the West thinks that Slavs are inferior people that can be used for their own ends, because they are too cowardly (and too weak) to fight Russia themselves.
