A few things... First, whenever I hear these guys say "the only person I have to prove anything to, is myself", I cringe. What about your teammates? What about your fans? What about your paying customers who buy expensive tickets to the games? Every person should remember, they have to prove themselves every day. Yesterday only counted yesterday. The other thing... Aaron was my guy for years in Green Bay. Did I think he was somewhat right that the GMs didn't do enough to get him help? Maybe. What I do know is, the ugly side of Aaron came out when the Packers drafted Jordan Love as his successor down the line. But note the entitlement attitude that Aaron projected after that. He felt that he didn't need to prove himself anymore... the Packers should rely on him only at QB, despite that his play was declining, and that he was talking retirement occasionally. He didn't want to report early to camp and work with teammates. He wanted more say in personnel decisions. He even tried to get the GM fired. Pretty arrogant attitude. So, he can save all the flowery talk about Green Bay. He became a problem - and that was his doing. Maybe things will work out in NY. But if he still thinks he is entitled to anything but playing QB the best he can, and has nothing to prove to anyone else, then he didn't learned anything from his time in Green Bay.
I don't think there's many players with higher standards than Rodgers. I really think that the Jets could win the superbowl and Rodgers could win mvp and he could still be unsatisfied with his own performance. For him to be happy, it will have to be one helluva season. I would completely agree with you about 99.9% of professional athletes, but there's a few that I feel a little different about. hope you're good 👍
AS a 49er fan all I can say is at least your franchise hasn't LOST multiple Super Bowls over the last 15 years.... I'd rather be trash than go and lose every time. But it is funny to see all the players so happy about Rodgers...
You sound like you’re a bit younger than me. When I was a kid, that wasn’t the case for the 49ers. When they got to the Big Dance, it was almost a foregone conclusion, they were gonna win it. I watched them win five, and three of them weren’t even close. That’s how good they were back in the day. The Jets have won one, and a HUGE percentage of Jets fans weren’t even alive or even thought of when it happened. That’s gotta be tough.
This whole vibe embodies where he is at this point in his life, he should be golfing and doing whatever it is he likes to do because his time to win in the nfl has come and gone. The window is shut and all the defenses know it. They know all his tricks and bullshit, the jets will be lucky to make it to the wild card with him. Guy has completely disappeared up his own ass and is washed up.
I’m still devastated
Jets to the super bowl
🤔
Do NFL players who already wear helmets actually wear padding ontop of those helmets during training?
No more episodes?? 😢

Eh, . We will see how it all this training& hype will hold up once we hit REGULAR season. Playoffs? Way to early to say.
A deal of bad luck sadly.
You lost it… wast of time watching golf courses and not football practice
