In an arena 1v1 I would rather someone pop venom demon on me than go full phoenix icl. You can run from a venom demon, you CAN'T run from tori and its damage output is relatively the same plus the whole healing to max part.
kuro said it and the ult were supposed to be in base on the rework's release but they didnt have time to add it or something, it'll happen eventually now that pteranodon exists
In my opinion they could change the base move set to make phoenix burst turn into blue bird, a triple shot tracking projectile and the ult could be a unique new skill instead of the same slam maybe something like a projectile flame aoe. While they are at it they could even rework the half form to be more damage oriented

Ayyyy mythical madness is back! I myself did my own one just an hour ago with Yoru X Buddha! 7 kills and 20k damage (final guy was running a Firework Lancer X Tori build and wouldn’t stop camping)
The dark blade hitting logia without haki makes sense bcz of the anime like the black blade is black bcz of the amount of haki put into it so it has a passive haki
If you get the chance, after you used knightfall rush and he took fall damage use Baal Head (if you have) it will make ur m1s and moves deal much more dmg for some time.
tori is infact worse due to pteranadon having 2 extenders in base and having 2 extenders in full form and just having the abilty to fly around and use sword moves is insane not to mention even if ur limp u can still fly rly fast the same exact speed if u were full health
I’d take Tori over Pteranodon simply due to the fact that the full form is more accessible, healing, tekkai in full form, one extender in base, half, and full form. I feel like if we’re looking at versatility and overall strength Tori is better.
but having to split ur build for tori to be viable is crazy with pteranodon u can have like 50 m1 with yoru and like 3 extenders which is crazy to think that u can deal over 1k dmg in a single combo while tori doesnt have that advantage due to u having to go hybrid unless u wanna go full sword but ull be missing out on a 300+ dmg extender

Also ur stuck with two moves one being a easily blockable punishable e and r is a good move yet pteranodon is much better has 2 block breakers and combo extenders and e does high dmg aswell as form which is a lil debatable but Tori form is pretty predictable like I said pteranodon form is kind of just better block breakers dmg like n half the time tori ult doesn’t even fully hit
