The Antiquity Sound: Pickup Upgrade on My Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster®

- I've owned two Jazzmasters before this one, but I think this is the one I'll be sticking with. I’ve finally found the tone I've been chasing: thick, warm, and rich! The Seymour Duncan Antiquity™ I pickups were the final touch that made this guitar perfect for me. It's also incredibly comfortable to play (though I did sand the sticky neck for a smoother feel), and holding this guitar gives me a fresh sense of creativity and perspective.
In addition to the pickups, I upgraded the nut, string trees, and saddle with Graphtech components. I also swapped out the tremolo system for a Fender Japan '62 Jaguar/Jazzmaster® Vibrato Tailpiece (026-4248-000). The tech, Dax, who did the work, also added a Mylar tone capacitor (0.047uf microfarad) to tame the highs just right.
This guitar is definitely going to be a mainstay in my collection.

I love how full and colorful they sound. My favorite are the neck and the middle position. I have Antiquity IIs in my Jaguar, one of them unfortunately broke and now I'm thinking about putting a single-coil sized humbucker as the bridge pickup.
Yes, the rich, full sound is what made me fall in love with it. It feels closer to an acoustic guitar, which resonates with me as a classical guitar player. Thanks for sharing!
how did they broke?
Amazing playing!
Thanks man!
