If life's a game of finding more Belief may be your final score So out you go and stake your claim You've waited long now reap the gain A cosy nest where they all lay Those armchair dreams now fade away Sit on the fence believe its true The world will never come to you Turn the tables Its my turn If life's a lesson then I'm here to learn Turn the tables, turn them again The road may change but the goal is the same Show me how to put it right Then maybe it will be worth the fight The luck I need ain't on my side But is it strength I need to swallow my pride Turn the tables Its my turn If life's a lesson then I'm here to learn Turn the tables, turn them again The road may change but the goal is the same At the top now looking down Watching those who'll never touch your crown Life is short but can be sweet The choice is yours now its at your fee
My first time hearing these guys, after reading about them over the years. I'm diggin' this! I hear that hint of Uriah Heep influence in this.....cool!! Alot of well-known musicians have been part of this band (or did brief stints) over the years, Dennis Stratton, Clive Burr, Bernie Shaw, Paul Di Anno, Doogie White, Gary Barden, and John Sloman.....Amazing!!
I recorded this song and a few others, off the radio, donkeys years ago from the Reading Festival. I'll upload it soon - recording quality not best but better than nothing.
If life's a game of finding more
Belief may be your final score
So out you go and stake your claim
You've waited long now reap the gain
A cosy nest where they all lay
Those armchair dreams now fade away
Sit on the fence believe its true
The world will never come to you
Turn the tables
Its my turn
If life's a lesson then I'm here to learn
Turn the tables, turn them again
The road may change but the goal is the same
Show me how to put it right
Then maybe it will be worth the fight
The luck I need ain't on my side
But is it strength I need to swallow my pride
Turn the tables
Its my turn
If life's a lesson then I'm here to learn
Turn the tables, turn them again
The road may change but the goal is the same
At the top now looking down
Watching those who'll never touch your crown
Life is short but can be sweet
The choice is yours now its at your fee
Bernie shaw at the vocals!
Bernie Shaw the singer left to join Uriah Heep mid eighties, still there.
