I’d love to see a video of your Estima build. I prefer a smaller van for it’s ability to park in the city as a daily driver so keen to see how this would work as a camper.
Great information video thanks. So I have been informed and told by a number of people plus shown and black-and-white that a distance of 1 m between the toilet seat and the roof is required under the regulations! So you’re saying this is not true ?
Some certifiers are adding to the rules to suit their own agender.. end of the day its all common sence and remember it must be fit for purpose, the inspector has the authority to make a common sence call on this. I dont think any meashurment guidlines exist regarding toilet space, just that it must be fit for purpose, some groups maybe writing their own addon rules. they should have gone to spec savers,, you should have come to us, ha , All the best mate.
@@kiwivanman9035 I understand common sense and I also have more room around my toilet than I ever did driving. Any other tour coaches that had toilets are bored when working overseas. Everything I do I keep being told to something wrong and I need to do something else puzzles and how I’m gonna fit a vent on my water system that uses sealed bags every time you push the button . Get around there and planning to put the waste poo bags from my toilet into another plastic seal container with a vent to the outside of the vehicle and I’m hoping this will allow them to be happy . I’m not trying to get around the rules a six month old Toyota Land Cruiser Troop Carrier that I need to be able to sleep in with myself and my dog comfortably. I have a fridge freezer unit that’s going in under the floor stainless steel water tank for fresh water and just wondering about what I need for waste water. I’m trying to keep it minimalist, functional, easy to clean out because I will be driving off-road a lot. Plus from my toilet seat to the ceiling is 950 mm at the moment and I’ve got plenty of room between my head and the roof . Plenty of room to swing a cat , I’m definitely not putting up any curtain around the toilet because I used to just go digging a hole in this how it is it while driving towards there and there was no hiding in the middle of a sand with 40 passengers and two trucks.
Hi Great video. Just wondering what you think of the black moa toilets being made. They would work for us as height of our seating would not work with the taller toilets. Hoping you have checked them out and can share your opinion of them with us
Hi, thanks for the info. I have a hightop Hiace currently with a portipotti. I understand that the OGO Nomad Portable toilet complies with the new regulations. Would you install and certify it?
So is it the government or just the camping association? I’m so confused. Thanks for your video. We have an old Caravan that we’re doing up but I know it will affect us as well as up to now we used a portable loo. 😞
I'm fairly certain that he is only trying to address the new government regulations, because that is all that you need to concern yourself with when van-camping at places that require self-contained certification. Ignore any rules that organisations like NZMCA state, unless you are going to stay on their properties.
Thank you for explaining new csc on the toilet. Cant wait to see how you set up the estima.
Thanks dear. hope all is well there.. William.
Excellent video William. You are very good at explaining the process. Will be intouch .

All the best mate.

HI, great video. What are you're thoughts on the Black Moa cassette toilet being released by mystenterprise?
Oops just asked the same question

Does toilet still need a breather hose
What is the point of the breather hose if you still empty the Porta potti the same way in the same black waste site?
