This was in Camden and is apparently a joint venture between Raytheon and GD. They make critical missile systems etc. The thing is, with such a spectacular explosion, the fact there were only 3 casualties, suggest, to me at least, that this was likely not sudden and they had time to evacuate. Of course it's all guess work. Gov Huckabee, last October had announced a major expansion of the plant. Perhaps the explosion was related to that work. Whatever the case, this is really going to impair Israel and Ukraine as much of their Iron Dome missiles were made there. Mind you, Russia and Hezbollah have been punching holes in the cardboard dome, so it's probably better for the shareholders that they have an excuse not to expose their useless products to the world anymore.

Process booths are isolated by very thick reinforced concrete walls and only allow one person per mixing booth. This limits not only the explosion path but the death or injury (depending on the type and quantity of explosives being mixed) to those nearby. Chances are the person in the mixing booth will not be found if the explosive was RDX. My condolences to the family.
