The scooter series where we will get our hands dirty and bring some of our scooter racing experience in some fun and really stupid projects.
Episode 31: Time to bring you up to speed on our Genuine Stella / LML Star. We ditched the 187 and went all out on a 221cc Malossi!
!!! DISCLAIMER !!!
I am no mechanic. However, all my bikes that I have build, raced and won awards with have held up. So far, so good. At the end, we just build some stupid scooters that go way too fast!
This video was created in collaboration with Dr. Schmidt's e-Learning Innovations.
Love watching your video/ engineering productions and the performance modes done to LML / Vespa PX. So cool.
Thanks Lee for going over what you've done to the Stella. I've been working my way through the live builds and really appreciate you taking the time to document this via video. It's very helpful!
What engine temps you getting when in 4th, say cruisong at 60 Mph? Thanks.
330-350 if I remember correctly
@@ThatScooterThing My Pinasco RX 190 runs roughly the same temps so that's good. What is safe max temp? Thanks.
Freaking awesome man !!!!
Man I would love to ride this vespa
Great job! Greeting from Monza (Italy)
Any tips on how to wire the vapor to the existing harness?
im getting one tomorrow.
love your vids! Great job! Shout out from Tokyo, Japan!
Great video ...From what model was the speedometer taken?
Can i ask the name of the exaust and can it fit for px150?
Hi! thanks for sharing so much info. I have a 97 PX150, have done a sip 2 exhaust and rejet so far, do you think drilling the air filter 'heart' is a worthwhile mod? I was looking at it, and thinking it cant really flow any more air where the holes are drilled, but the internet seems to say it does make a difference?
Hey,
You are correct, drilling out the air filter for better flow is a thing, albeit a small one.
Around 8mm for the big one, 5mm for the small one.
can you imagine being the cop that pulled over a VESPA just ripping through town 😭 dude prolly did a double take 💀
how can i increse my old chetak miledge its just giving me 10kmpl miledge any idea how can i do this
Would I be able to bolt on a 200cc bbk to a genuine Stella 150cc 2t. If not do you know where I can find more info on these engines?
malcolm cloutier no. Sorry if it is unclear in the video, this is a Vespa 200 engine that was swapped into the Stella
i love your videos hire me i would love to learn this
You beat me to it I got my Trailtech off my ktm to fit to mine
Oh cool! If you want/can, shoot a pic and send it to us on FB
@@ThatScooterThing I have not fitted it properly yet. it was just cable tied on for testing the rpm.
Lol RUclips when it hears a two stroke idle “applause”
Please restorasi my Vespa PX, im from Indonesia
Gearbox px150, it is okay for highway?
Yeah, it has a 24/63 Primary transmission, easy cruising at highway speed.
@@ThatScooterThing Im using that gearbox on Sprint v model with JL exhaust. Gear 1,2 & 3 has power but gear 4 no power anymore
Awish 69 if you use a shorter 4th gear it will help connect the gears. You can also drop the clutch gear by one tooth to get better connection into fourth.
@@ThatScooterThing thanks for information
nice Scooter :)
Can you build me something like this?
Hello. I saw your numerous vids on the p200e. I just bought one and have some questions about it. Do you have email?
Find us on FB! (link in the description)
Hi, can this be done with a 2002 Baja Chetak 150 as far as power? Thanks!
The engine is based on a P200e engine case, a Bajaj 150 is not compatible with those cylinders.
However, 150 have plenty of available parts to get decent power out of
Aku beli ah
I can give you my 4stoke bajaj chetak. You modify its and make a blog then give me.. You can! 😎
2 stroke👎👎👎 4 stroke👍👍😁
How can one comment be so wrong
