This is when I remember seeing these beautiful girls for the first time. I have been watching them as they turned 2yrs old. I am so happy to see them each day. Alicia and Walt has been doing a great job with the girls. I love this family.❤❤❤❤
The girls had every emotion and expression possible at today's meal. Loved their talking and Mom and Dad laughing with the twins at all their cute reactions. Just adorable, love that Mom and Dad share laughter and joy with their children and then to all of us. We laughed too at the sweet and funny Anastasia and Guinevere.
Guinevere is funny. I know she doesn’t like it, but God Bless her. Daddy’s have a way of helping for sure. I’m very sensitive to Spices too. It looks like it went straight to her nose. It wasn't too hot spicy, but it had a lot of seasonings aka spices. I will try it again in the future when they get a little more used to seasonings. Up until now most of their foods weren't seasoned with very much at all. Noodles always save the day😆 And so do Daddies😊♥️♥️
Anastasia is calm . Guinevere want full attention from her father and for that "make a show". Interesting that Anastasia looked carefully with calm but didn't imitate her sister. Each girl and the own personality ❣
You know what i love about all of you is that you all eat so many different varieties of food! I have never seen two kids eat absolutely everything! You do not hold back in giving them new things to try! You are both awesome!!!

Guinevere was mesmerized by Daddy. When she tried to eat...her face became red and she rubbed her eyes. I think the spices affected her. Anastasia seemed to like it until she saw Guinevere eating the noodles. 😛 she did a great job scooping too. They both are loving spending time with Dad. Sounds like Beano was sitting up for Dad too. Great try Alicia. I tried Indian dishes quite a few times but I never acquired the taste. Have a wonderful evening!! ❤️💙💗💗

I always have to have a safe back up just in case they don't like something which is perfectly OK. I don't expect them to like everything and I'm surprised at how much they do like! Up until now most of their food hasn't really been seasond so this was a huge step in the seasoning department and we will try it again later down the road once they've tried other dishes with a little less seasoning. I'm so happy the chemo went well💕 it's completely understandable to be worried🤗 I'm glad we could cheer you up a little too🫂🫂💗💗

I am an identical twin and she loves seafood and I won't touch it, when we were kids I would spend all day reading and she would she would be sketching, we are still so much alike and also so different. It is fun to watch other twins growing up.
I'm amazed at how different they are too, but when you think about it they are two separate people so it makes sense for them to have their own likes and dislikes😊💗💗
I'm with Gwen, yeee-yuck !!! Is weird because I love spices and hot stuff. Also, is SOOOO wonderful you give them water. I basically raised my niece, now 14, and she pretty much only drinks water, now she's older, maybe a little coffee or chocolate milk when smaller. She will take water even if asked if she wants a soda or juice. She has the prettiest, strong teeth and no weight or sugar issues.
Anastasia seemed to think it was OK until she saw the noodles come out 😆 noodles win every time. Guinevere did not like this dish, but that just meant more for mom and dad😅💖💖
So far the babies can wave bye-bye, blow kisses, do "so big", go "round-and-round" with their hands, strike a "pretty pose". I think it's time to level up to teaching them the "raise the roof" sign! 😆😆

It’s amazing to me how you give alternatives to the girls if they don’t like something. You never force it or let them go hungry. It’s sad but I was punished severely for not eating what was given to me throughout my childhood (in the 60’s parents were tough) and it proved nothing. I still don’t like the foods I was forced to eat. You present food with joy and creativity versus punishment. I wish you had been my parents!
Awe, thank you. I remember quite well being told I wasn't allowed to leave the table until I finished my broccoli. I sat there until 10pm and my parents finally gave in and told me to go to bed. I still don't like broccoli. The girls like it some days and on days they don't, that's okay😊💖💖

Likes and dislikes in food are unique to everyone and if a child is forced to eat all the time, it has long term effects. You don’t want to give in to mac ‘n cheese for them every night but there are more creative ways. Thanks for “getting me”!

We are not sure how he has developed this eating habit. He used to eat many things but now he sniffs all of his food and eats very little. So I think it is good how your babies will taste and eat any and everything they may not like it but at least they try it, this is difficult for us. He is just now going to be tested for autism. Also he has a syndrome called vowel E. He can barely say any words, but he is a happy little soul keep it up with those too precious angels.
I know a lot of kids become very picky around 2 and can sometimes fall into a familiar food habit and only eat foods that are certain colors or smells. Also have you tried teaching/learning sign language? It may be helpful if he was able to communicate through signing😊 Children can sometimes become extremely frustrated if they can't communicate. I'm glad he's a happy little guy🤗♥️♥️

You mentioned going to the beach this summer. A friend that watches. Told me to tell you when you go. But one of the small blow up pools and take it to the beach. Fill with with oven water. And let the girls have at it. If it gets sand in it no big deal That way you know where the girls are and you can enjoy the beach. She also said they bought a tent of such that when their kids napped they would sleep under the covering. It blocked out the beach noise. She said it worked well for them. Thought I’d pass it along.
Suggestions: Spanish omelette (oignons, potatoes, eggs, oil); spanish cod/chicken croquettes; simple kind of spanish paella (rice, peas/green beans, chicken/rabbit) we call rice with chicken/rabbit; hake in green sauce with boiled rice; battered cod; noodles with tomatoe sauce and sausages/chorizo. All are simple spanish dishes with no strange spices very suitable for children.
The mucous membranes of small children are very sensitive. When I was little, even coca cola stung my tongue so much that I couldn't drink it. Same for shampoo, which stung my eyes horribly.
It was the same for me with toothpaste and I didn't brush my teeth as much or as well as I should have as a result. Also, forget about mouthwash, it set my mouth on fire. i
There wasn't anything spicy in it, but there were other seasonings that maybe their palate isn't quite ready for😊 Also, I haven't used toothpaste yet, just a wet toothbrush because the toothpaste isn't recommended until after 2😆🩷🩷
April 5th I fell face first and broke my nose and my hip needless to say at 62 years old I have quite the road to recovery…However while in the Hospital these two Angels made me smile. Bless Them

You mentioned going to the beach this summer. A friend that watches. Told me to tell you when you go. But one of the small blow up pools and take it to the beach. Fill with with oven water. And let the girls have at it. If it gets sand in it no big deal That way you know where the girls are and you can enjoy the beach. She also said they bought a tent of such that when their kids napped they would sleep under the covering. It blocked out the beach noise. She said it worked well for them. Thought I’d pass it along.

All are simple spanish dishes with no strange spices very suitable for children.
Italy: Lasagna; Risotto; spaguetis a la carbonara; gnocchi avoiding spices.
The mucous membranes of small children are very sensitive. When I was little, even coca cola stung my tongue so much that I couldn't drink it. Same for shampoo, which stung my eyes horribly.
It was the same for me with toothpaste and I didn't brush my teeth as much or as well as I should have as a result. Also, forget about mouthwash, it set my mouth on fire.

There wasn't anything spicy in it, but there were other seasonings that maybe their palate isn't quite ready for😊 Also, I haven't used toothpaste yet, just a wet toothbrush because the toothpaste isn't recommended until after 2😆🩷🩷
April 5th I fell face first and broke my nose and my hip needless to say at 62 years old I have quite the road to recovery…However while in the Hospital these two Angels made me smile. Bless Them
