We have a selectric 2 in for a motor belt job, original belt failed after 40 years, go figure......here is the procedure for that. Same procedure works on selectric 1 , 2's & 3's. This is our first attempt at filming this & we will probably do another in the near future hoping for a better end result. This is a complicated repair since it usually involves re-timing of the operations shafts. Only takes about 50 times before you can do them really proficiently. Machine got a general clean & service afterwards.
