@@michaelwalsh9404 there are after all genuine reasons why people use anti spin rubber and it doesn't get much more anti than perfectly smooth glass or plastic.
It's crazy that using a phone actually has strategy to it and that Anders was able to win one game using a literal screen. (Also that dap at 7:43 was clean)

I beat some of my collegues at work with a banana actually. (I'm jus a high level tennis player and my collegues were the typical 'I play round the table at work 2 times a week' players. That was quite the fun. Then one of my collegues, an actual good pingpong player, beat me playing with his wrong hand.
I mean the idea is very cool and its definitely fun and interesting to watch. But it kinda takes it all out for me if you start overacting... Like the Truls memorial shot at 1:52 was great by itself but its obvious to see you could have reached it... We all know Anders is a top level player no need to make it look like everything always works out. Would have been way more fun to see you really try and not just passively returning the ball especially in the first game just to make it more exciting and Anders look even better.
Hey it's interesting you say this but I was generally trying my best throughout. I lost confidence massively in the opening points as I missed a couple of early forehands. It also doesn't help seeing world number 26 at the other end of the table giving 100% aha
it's high time you thought about changing sports. I understand that he's a pro player, but for you to bother with a guy who uses a phone, wow, what a shame.
