Hi Isabella! I hope you are open to some constructive criticism, because I think what you’re doing is so important and could be even better really easily! I was distracted by how many times “literally” was used, and often used incorrectly. I know it seems dumb, but it’s a habit people are easily distracted by and I don’t want huns trying to use it to discredit you. It can also be difficult for others to follow the fast rate of speech (not a problem for me, but I know plenty it would be difficult for). Although the font used is beautiful, it’s really hard to read on screen. Again I really hope this doesn’t hurt your feelings or anything because I love your content and want it to be accessible to more people!
Here is the sad reality: these huns are never looking to build a business. They are looking for get rich quick scheme. The way the speak about real business owners amplifies this, IMHO. I have a friend who is starting a business that requires a LOT of up front cash & she just got her big break with a rad investor after years of working towards it. It 👏 Was 👏 Worth 👏 It. She would say that over & over again. The struggles, the hoops, the work, the sleepless nights, the learning curves, the failures. She made this happen by herself. she didn’t need to pay an upline to “grow” into her best self.

I would love to see you do a video on military spouses getting screwed over with MLM I am in the military community and I see so many young military wives with their husbands on low pay grades getting caught up in debt with multi level marketing It’s sad how they get trapped into it thinking that they can work from home and they can travel and start their business in different locations as with the military you’re always moving. It’s just very sad.
Every time I watch a Young Living video I hope that one day you’ll do one on DoTerra. It’s so popular in my area and so many people I know have been dragged into them and their lies.
I’m a veterinarian, and it’s so very easy to differentiate chicken blood from human. Chicken red blood cells have nuclei, but human RBC do not. A quick glance under a microscope would be all it would take. A first year nursing, medical or veterinary school student would see the difference immediately. I can’t believe he only got a $250 fine and no jail time for causing his daughter’s death! That sickens me, and I wish this information was more widely known. I’m very grateful to you for making this video.
Whoa! I was wondering how easy differentiating been human and chicken blood is. And yeah, he should have gotten much more harsh consequences for his negligence in his daughter’s birth. It’s terrible.
How do you feel about them giving these thing to their animals on the daily. Orally and not diluted? I have had horses and dogs and cattle my whole life and worked with a wide range from abused to show horses and never wanted to use anything like this to help with their pain or temperament. They suggest it and because Gary young was an amazing horses and animal lover they tell you it’s 100% safe. It scared me because I wouldn’t orally take the oils let alone give them to my horses. I’ve always worried what a vets option would be on this.

Yeah I was several months into trying to sell YL (I know, I know! 😩) before I learned about him killing his own baby. Like how do you even let that happen? I don’t believe it was an accident, honestly bc no one is that stupid. I think it was some kind of sacrifice for his company if I’m being honest. Sounds crazy but then he was crazy so…. I was so brainwashed by Gary young hero worship that I had heard from my upline that when I learned this fact, I experienced a lot of cognitive dissonance. I could never get past it though and am now trying to figure out where else to get the products that I love that are made by other companies. YL is definitely a cult. I’m seeing that now. ☹️

A few things: a) THANK YOU for making this video. If it helps just one hun leave YL or prevent just one person from joining, you've done a great service to society. b) YL is, IMHO, one of the TOP scummiest MLMs in the game. My autistic son had a heart transplant as an infant. Both after his transplant and his diagnosis of autism, the YL huns came out of the woodwork to sell me on this oil or that oil to "help" him. Umm, hard pass. That's what DOCTORS are for. c) Every time you mentioned the market being oversaturated, I said "no pun intended" in my head. Get it? Oils? Oversaturated? I'll show myself out...
They did the same at a breast cancer walk in my area. I was walking with my cancer ridden mother and I was disgusted that they probably scammed some poor DYING women and gave them some kind of false hope.
I live in Salt Lake (30 minutes away from YL headquarters) and it’s awful. They have a lot of power and have pumped a shit ton into advertising throughout the state. The most predatory part of it all to me is that they donated millions upon millions of dollars to universities throughout the state and as such now have marketing across multiple campuses. That is the prime market for them to be finding young, uninformed people to become interested in the opportunity. Specifically at one of the campuses that has a large football following they have boards all over and a whole section of offices within the stadium itself. Beyond even that, my fiancé used to work for one of the largest hotels in the downtown area and they would host YL for conferences and all sorts of events. He worked specifically at blocking out large groups/donors so had to work one on one with some of YL management and he said it’s the rudest most entitled group of people he’s ever had to deal with. They were insistent that there had to be multiple oil diffusers throughout the lobby and in every room, and even though it was broached that there were health concerns having the diffusers in the lobby they became aggressive and threatened “discriminatory lawsuits” (obviously talking out of their asses). They ended up leaving thousands of dollars of merchandise in the hotel and when asked to pick them up they insisted that the hotel give them out as “samples” to draw in business to them.
I feel so sad it affected you all to this level. Try not to feel bad. Someone got you at a vulnerable time and you left. Don't be too hard on yourselves x

Hi! I was almost sucked into this by some people - but I realized that it was a waste of money and that I can buy essential oils for far less money and support local producers! Interesting that promoters here in Serbia are actually convincing others that YL diffusers are like MUCH BETTER than those made in China, when you ask them why, they have no explanation! Yep tbh I bought a diffuser a while back from a market stall and it goes for HOURS. My YL diffuser cuts out after about 2 (because I bought the base level starter pack…)
Great video, but I do have something to clarify. Most people who buy products from YL buy the starter kits. Once you buy a starter kit you’re now considered a distributor. Most of those “distributors” never go on to sell products. That’s why it says 98 percent of them don’t make any money. It’s because they aren’t participating in the “business” side. They are just customers.
She does address that though, when she stated that only about 67% of distributors were active. Even if you did take those distributors off of the numbers, it’s still a losing battle. MLMs in general are predatory and set you up to fail.
That’s true, but at the same time a big part of the problem. If people just want to buy the starter kit, why can’t they just buy it without becoming a distributor? I would see this a lot with my ex’s friends and family. She would get them interested in the product, and they’d want to purchase the kit, but couldn’t unless they became a part of her down line. The kit is a deal and you can save a ton of money by purchasing it, but it’s really odd that you can only buy this amazing life changing product if you join as a distributor. I think YL takes away a lot of the sketchiness if they just allow people to purchase their products with having to sign up to be a distributor. But that won’t happen, because they rely on them to make the company money.
@@JayP80Geno you can just buy the starter kit and not doing any of the selling. That’s what I did. I guess technically I was a “distributor” but an inactive one bc I never tried to sell or get other people to sell.

One of my friends was in YL for 4 years and was at Gold level. I had never heard of MLMs or even essential oils until she convinced me to buy a starter kit. She never tried to recruit me (I think because we live in different states) but she did convince me I could INGEST them! Uhhh. I’m so embarrassed now, I just had no idea. Luckily I didn’t feel any pain or get sick from it. I’ll never ingest again! I think I should mention she died suddenly and unexpectedly of hypertension. (According to her husband. I don’t know details). I’m very concerned YL had brainwashed her into removing all meds from her home and replacing them with oils and this could have seriously contributed to her death. People joining need to watch out for the brainwashing that they do where they convince you oils can replace everything!!

I only did this business for 3months and ranked to star, the amount of times I cried myself to sleep. My partner did not support this business and forced me to get out & I am glad that he did!

I wish I had videos like this when I was a freshman in college. I got introduced to Mary Kay and thought it was such a cool job. Never heard of pyramid schemes, didn’t understand that buying products is scummy, in general I was too naive to think people would make a business based on scamming people. Luckily I left almost immediately 😂 Now I’ve noticed that a *lot* of mlm’s come from utah and Mormons. The very people I was always told I could always trust because we were in the same cult. Yeah, now it makes sense why Utah has the worst white collar crime in the US.

Recently I learned you can control the speed of the voice right on the video (the 3 dots on top) where you find captions option. I love that feature bc others I follow speak way too slow for me and I need to speed it up 😅 So I guess everyone has different tastes in everything.

I hate when MLMs use average instead of median. I have a math degree and it's very obvious from the high/low amounts that the average is HEAVILY skewed which makes it look more advantageous than it is (even if it still doesn't look good).

I use YL and love it! I don’t sell, just use it and have had no issues with my up line trying to get me to sell. Sure I’ve been asked but I tell them no and that’s that they have left me alone.
Same experience here…I LOVE the oils and NO there is a good reason why they cost more than Walmart blend. This becomes quite obvious after doing research.
Wow I never knew any of this except that you should never ever ingest essential oils. When a beauty guru introduced YL via her channel it was so that you could buy the oils at a cheaper price. Not once was I told to sale. Once more essential oil company’s opened that we’re not MLM I just stop buying and was deactivated. Thank you for making this video.
YL has such a rich history of BS to unpack. doTERRA on the other hand, seems much harder to criticize, on the surface and gets a lot less air time from the anti mlm community, relatively. I have a friend pushing YL I hate the business model though, I love Eden’s garden and plant therapy, you can paper check the purity of oils, even my 8oz bottle. Of sun pure lavender passed the test, There are many great oils out there for a fraction of the price. Only thing good about YL imho is to help people look for healthy alternatives.
I literally just spent $100 on YL oils to help my friend meet her quota when I could have bought them for half that at another non mlm company and still had great pure oils
I wish the person that is in Young living that got interviewed just started their own essential oil business they seem like they have a really good work ethic for this type of thing no matter how positive their experiences it doesn’t take away to the fact that the business structure in the company is toxic I wish them the best but outside of the company

I have small business - I make bath bombs and I use essential oils in my recipe. Once under my post I used #essentialoils and 3 girls from Young Living messaged me and said I could order oils from them and use them in my bath bombs, because they are much better than any other oils out there. 😄 I pay around £10 - £15 for 100ml bottle and they sell 5ml for the same price! That is absolutely ridiculous WHY WOULD YOU EVER!!?

If you Google, cosmetic grade essential oils, you should be able to find something good, just do a little research and maybe order few from different brands and see which ones you like the best. Please don’t promote brands that are harmful. if not YL or Doterra, Plant therapy, Revive, Simply Earth, Eden’s Garden, Tisserand oils, RMO 9:30 chemical constituents are real, can have positive effects. Ex Lavender has been used in studies of sleep support. 16:40 YL is going to move to a costumer vs brand partner. It’s been on the works on a while but it’s expected soon ish. 42:00 the irony is that I actually got a starter kit after watching all these videos 😅 I’m not doing the business side .. although I do get a commission from my own spending 😅 and I spend as much as I do because I like getting free shipping and promo oils (they are called gifts with purchase now but I have an issue with that as you have to pay for the taxes ) 48:30 they’ve been lagging but in the future you’ll be able to access the discount/member with a subscription to a product 50:00 some people actually have llcs 52:00 this is actually kind of true, I think they give you community. However this is a factor for church as well, I’ve been struggling with finding a community after leaving my church. Which is kind of funny bc most are from the same culture. I have been thinking a lot as to why I joined, I think it’s mostly because it was the ideal I was raised with. 54:00 I think this goes both ways. I am definitely one of the most cautious personas far as safety and my stuff gets cblocked often in the groups 57:00 so I actually hinted this above but I did research on this but apparently taxes need to be paid for promotions and incentives 🤯 it’s a whole sale thingy, I called the cs about it.. there are trips available for all for a cost. There is a yoga retreat in their farms coming up 1:00:00 I have recently discovered there is differences with distillation methods so there is something for qualities. Dietary oils start at $6+ I think the most expensive one was frankincense (40) The diffusers start at 40 and the most expensive is the aria diffuser at 240 1:03:00 oil people are kind of this way about it not exclusive to yl. -yeah i don’t get that either but I see that more with the old style mlm people 1:04:00 This is true I haven’t heard of buying rank or see this bee a thing. 1:05:00 yes however this is also changing, instead of the incentive it’s changed to a 25% commission on the pv (100) which is still $25 1:08:00 if people are advertising this as bc that is non compliance and should be reported to the company. I asked my pc about pro+ and my pv actually encouraged me to use it. So here for this. As a scientist, essential oil companies have always angered me the most. The claims they make are OUTRAGEOUS and yeah YL’s dude was utter trash. They make my blood boil.
I can go to Bath Bed and beyond and get my oils. So ridiculous. I use them for aromatherapy only. Lavender for relaxation. Mlm are so unnecessary because most of what they sell you can find in the stores much cheaper and better quality. Also no hun to content with lol
Young living Huns will forever baffle me. Someone tried to recruit me once. She drinks essential oils daily, but lost her mind with Colorado legalized MJ (this was a while ago obviously lol) I remember telling her the taxes from the stoners will do more for our state than oil you drink to stay “skinny” ☠️
One more point on your video. You talked about a woman putting lemon drops in her Styrofoam cup. The lemon drops are made from the Rhine not the fruit and all oils are concentrated. Lemon fruit has different composition that the Rhine. No essential oil should be put in anything but glass. A plastic cup will keep the smell of the essential oil for a really long time. Just like if I wanted to use iodine drops it should not be put in anything except for glass!
if you google diffuser and go to the shop tab you can find the 300 dollar young living one, with the little logo, and then the EXACT same diffuser right next to it but its 34 and from amazon.
I listened to this whole thing with earbuds. Great thorough reporting. The background sound though. I don’t think I can listen again if it is there. It was hard to do that repeat over and over

I have 2 sil who are deep into young living and we live in rural Ireland so it’s not like everyone is knowing about essential oils and diffusers etc and everything is oils toxic free etc and it’s hard to be at family functions as we are a very small family. I have no connection to them and it’s very sad.

The compensation average amounts are based off all active accounts. Meaning even the members that joined only to get discounts on products for themselves but aren’t trying to sell or build a business are included in that average. Which is probably a lot of ppl. Still you don’t make a lot in the beginning and I’ve never tried to make any money so I don’t know how much you really can get. But The point is to get reoccurring customers to make money off their purchases and what the ppl under them purchase. Yes you get a nice chunk off new members but they never have to sell for you to make money off of them they just have to buy. I joined and I haven’t tried to sell at all I just buy my products on a monthly subscription for the wholesale price and in return get points for free product.

In my opinion instead of taking general supplements (because a lot of them are scams) take individual vitamins of everything that would be in the supplement. For example, if you’re taking a womens multi supplement, look at the ingredients and see what specific vitamins are in it. Take those individually instead. Generally cheaper in the long run and you’ll be taking a high enough dose to see results, compared to most placebo supplements. I take iron, B12, D3, Biotin, green tea (in pill form), and cranberry extract (in pill form). There’s also ginger, turmeric, collagen, and many other things you could mix and match to work best for you without falling into MLM’s or scammy businesses. More bang for your buck.

But I started to look for it’s product when the IG influencer who was talking about endocrine system and usefulness of essential oils for the system. My health background couldn’t digest the fact. You have done an amazing job. Hope everyone sees this and adopt other genuinely low toxic/organic products. 🙏🏻
I understand the problem with YL but there are thousands of studies on pubmed that clearly state that essential oils have healing properties so you are not telling the entire truth.
If you want to ingest essential oils, why not just get some olive, canola or any vegetable oil other on the supermarkets? They're are more affordable that those essential oil and more safer..

I have been a YL customer for 5 months and I love it I noticed most of the video was about selling whale products which I am not doing but I will say the products that they do have to offer on their website is absolutely wonderful and life-changing for my family. When you walk into a store and you’re looking for laundry detergent or kitchen soap, cancel most of the products that are sold in stores are toxic with harmful ingredients and pretty much just poison for your body anything that you put on your skin within 30 seconds it goes into your bloodstream it’s soaks inside your skin even a lot of the natural brands that called them self natural or that green washing stuff even a lot of those still have harmful chemicals I’ve looked up a lot of the ingredients when it comes to wild products and they are by far better. for me personally I don’t think I’ll sell whale products I clearly understand the reason why you’re so against it and yeah it does kind of make me a little uncomfortable having to talk to a bunch of people just to be able to make a profit but the thing is I’ve used a lot of the wild products so when I tell people about them I’m genuinely telling them because it effectively works for my family. From the laundry soap to the hand soap to the hand sanitizer to the thieves household cleaner even the Nisha read I have definitely felt a difference with a lot of those products on my skin when I ingest them now I personally don’t use the essential oil’s to ingest but I do use them on top of the products to enhance the cleaning boost but that’s why they have the vitality essential oil’s those are the ones that you were able to ingest and they’re not harmful to your body if you and just lime or lemon that’s literally just lemon like you would go to the store and buy the bottles of lemon to put in lemon cakes and stuff like that. The FDA made them put Vitality on there so consumers would know the difference. I mainly shop on there to buy household products and health products that I can testify that actually work I saw a part of your video that said a lot of people were talking about how certain essential cure things I definitely wouldn’t go to that far but they do help. They have ones for anxiety and one to help you when your sick etc they do help. But I won’t say they cure you. It really depends on who you have that gets you on YL.
One thing that can be said is they might be using the same wording that essential oils have in the Metaphysical world. Almost any I've seen in Metaphysical will say things like boosting focus. My opinion they shouldn't use it as a medical benefit.

I have always had a fishy feeling about YL. The concept of a natural essential oil brand depending on customers to basically become their own little sales people is just such a weird idea imo. If the essential oils were so life changing, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't need people to constantly market their products every single day, because great products will always sell through word of mouth. I also wonder just how pure the oils really are. The "seed of seal" if you search it, is actually a lie. I honestly think that people should if anything invest their time promoting their own businesses, or atleast one they know 100% about. Spending all day promoting someone else's business isn't going to make you rich, you're just making them rich. It's really sad that so many of them, naive and genuinely hoping to spread a good brand around, is actually just being used by a million dollar company.
I had a "friend" lie to and tell me I had to be enrolled in the ER program BEFORE I could make any money. So, stupid me drank the kool aid and did it. Made $0 and got myself into $1000 worth of debt.
Looking through my eyes you have some points. Let me ask you do you have experience in the MLM company? I have been using YL product for eight years. Do I make money? not much. Do I work at it? not much. But using and learning these products have helped me in a few very difficult times. I just want to say that God and Mother Nature have a place in everyone's life. I love the ani MLM stuff, I think it's important to put out there, but Jesus Christ, girl, BREATHE. You don't need to speak so quickly. Pace yourself and speak clearly, there's no need to get whole thoughts and sentences out in one breath. Other than that, keep up the good work!

Hi Isabella! I hope you are open to some constructive criticism, because I think what you’re doing is so important and could be even better really easily! I was distracted by how many times “literally” was used, and often used incorrectly. I know it seems dumb, but it’s a habit people are easily distracted by and I don’t want huns trying to use it to discredit you. It can also be difficult for others to follow the fast rate of speech (not a problem for me, but I know plenty it would be difficult for). Although the font used is beautiful, it’s really hard to read on screen. Again I really hope this doesn’t hurt your feelings or anything because I love your content and want it to be accessible to more people!
Here is the sad reality: these huns are never looking to build a business. They are looking for get rich quick scheme. The way the speak about real business owners amplifies this, IMHO.
I have a friend who is starting a business that requires a LOT of up front cash & she just got her big break with a rad investor after years of working towards it. It 👏 Was 👏 Worth 👏 It. She would say that over & over again. The struggles, the hoops, the work, the sleepless nights, the learning curves, the failures. She made this happen by herself. she didn’t need to pay an upline to “grow” into her best self.

I would love to see you do a video on military spouses getting screwed over with MLM I am in the military community and I see so many young military wives with their husbands on low pay grades getting caught up in debt with multi level marketing It’s sad how they get trapped into it thinking that they can work from home and they can travel and start their business in different locations as with the military you’re always moving. It’s just very sad.
Every time I watch a Young Living video I hope that one day you’ll do one on DoTerra. It’s so popular in my area and so many people I know have been dragged into them and their lies.
I’m a veterinarian, and it’s so very easy to differentiate chicken blood from human. Chicken red blood cells have nuclei, but human RBC do not. A quick glance under a microscope would be all it would take. A first year nursing, medical or veterinary school student would see the difference immediately.
I can’t believe he only got a $250 fine and no jail time for causing his daughter’s death! That sickens me, and I wish this information was more widely known. I’m very grateful to you for making this video.

How do you feel about them giving these thing to their animals on the daily. Orally and not diluted? I have had horses and dogs and cattle my whole life and worked with a wide range from abused to show horses and never wanted to use anything like this to help with their pain or temperament. They suggest it and because Gary young was an amazing horses and animal lover they tell you it’s 100% safe. It scared me because I wouldn’t orally take the oils let alone give them to my horses. I’ve always worried what a vets option would be on this.

Yeah I was several months into trying to sell YL (I know, I know! 😩) before I learned about him killing his own baby. Like how do you even let that happen? I don’t believe it was an accident, honestly bc no one is that stupid. I think it was some kind of sacrifice for his company if I’m being honest. Sounds crazy but then he was crazy so…. I was so brainwashed by Gary young hero worship that I had heard from my upline that when I learned this fact, I experienced a lot of cognitive dissonance. I could never get past it though and am now trying to figure out where else to get the products that I love that are made by other companies. YL is definitely a cult. I’m seeing that now. ☹️

b) YL is, IMHO, one of the TOP scummiest MLMs in the game. My autistic son had a heart transplant as an infant. Both after his transplant and his diagnosis of autism, the YL huns came out of the woodwork to sell me on this oil or that oil to "help" him. Umm, hard pass. That's what DOCTORS are for.
c) Every time you mentioned the market being oversaturated, I said "no pun intended" in my head. Get it? Oils? Oversaturated? I'll show myself out...

They did the same at a breast cancer walk in my area. I was walking with my cancer ridden mother and I was disgusted that they probably scammed some poor DYING women and gave them some kind of false hope.
I live in Salt Lake (30 minutes away from YL headquarters) and it’s awful. They have a lot of power and have pumped a shit ton into advertising throughout the state. The most predatory part of it all to me is that they donated millions upon millions of dollars to universities throughout the state and as such now have marketing across multiple campuses. That is the prime market for them to be finding young, uninformed people to become interested in the opportunity. Specifically at one of the campuses that has a large football following they have boards all over and a whole section of offices within the stadium itself.
Beyond even that, my fiancé used to work for one of the largest hotels in the downtown area and they would host YL for conferences and all sorts of events. He worked specifically at blocking out large groups/donors so had to work one on one with some of YL management and he said it’s the rudest most entitled group of people he’s ever had to deal with. They were insistent that there had to be multiple oil diffusers throughout the lobby and in every room, and even though it was broached that there were health concerns having the diffusers in the lobby they became aggressive and threatened “discriminatory lawsuits” (obviously talking out of their asses). They ended up leaving thousands of dollars of merchandise in the hotel and when asked to pick them up they insisted that the hotel give them out as “samples” to draw in business to them.
I was so deeply brainwashed when I was in YL. It’s really embarrassing to look back on

Hi! I was almost sucked into this by some people - but I realized that it was a waste of money and that I can buy essential oils for far less money and support local producers! Interesting that promoters here in Serbia are actually convincing others that YL diffusers are like MUCH BETTER than those made in China, when you ask them why, they have no explanation! Yep tbh I bought a diffuser a while back from a market stall and it goes for HOURS. My YL diffuser cuts out after about 2 (because I bought the base level starter pack…)

Great video, but I do have something to clarify. Most people who buy products from YL buy the starter kits. Once you buy a starter kit you’re now considered a distributor. Most of those “distributors” never go on to sell products. That’s why it says 98 percent of them don’t make any money. It’s because they aren’t participating in the “business” side. They are just customers.
She does address that though, when she stated that only about 67% of distributors were active. Even if you did take those distributors off of the numbers, it’s still a losing battle. MLMs in general are predatory and set you up to fail.
That’s true, but at the same time a big part of the problem. If people just want to buy the starter kit, why can’t they just buy it without becoming a distributor? I would see this a lot with my ex’s friends and family. She would get them interested in the product, and they’d want to purchase the kit, but couldn’t unless they became a part of her down line. The kit is a deal and you can save a ton of money by purchasing it, but it’s really odd that you can only buy this amazing life changing product if you join as a distributor. I think YL takes away a lot of the sketchiness if they just allow people to purchase their products with having to sign up to be a distributor. But that won’t happen, because they rely on them to make the company money.

@@JayP80Geno you can just buy the starter kit and not doing any of the selling. That’s what I did. I guess technically I was a “distributor” but an inactive one bc I never tried to sell or get other people to sell.

One of my friends was in YL for 4 years and was at Gold level. I had never heard of MLMs or even essential oils until she convinced me to buy a starter kit. She never tried to recruit me (I think because we live in different states) but she did convince me I could INGEST them! Uhhh. I’m so embarrassed now, I just had no idea. Luckily I didn’t feel any pain or get sick from it. I’ll never ingest again! I think I should mention she died suddenly and unexpectedly of hypertension. (According to her husband. I don’t know details). I’m very concerned YL had brainwashed her into removing all meds from her home and replacing them with oils and this could have seriously contributed to her death. People joining need to watch out for the brainwashing that they do where they convince you oils can replace everything!!

Never heard of pyramid schemes, didn’t understand that buying products is scummy, in general I was too naive to think people would make a business based on scamming people. I hate when MLMs use average instead of median. I have a math degree and it's very obvious from the high/low amounts that the average is HEAVILY skewed which makes it look more advantageous than it is (even if it still doesn't look good).

I use YL and love it! I don’t sell, just use it and have had no issues with my up line trying to get me to sell. Sure I’ve been asked but I tell them no and that’s that they have left me alone.

Wow I never knew any of this except that you should never ever ingest essential oils. When a beauty guru introduced YL via her channel it was so that you could buy the oils at a cheaper price. Not once was I told to sale. Once more essential oil company’s opened that we’re not MLM I just stop buying and was deactivated. Thank you for making this video.
YL has such a rich history of BS to unpack. doTERRA on the other hand, seems much harder to criticize, on the surface and gets a lot less air time from the anti mlm community, relatively. @@JessentialLife Hi there- I am still using up my doTERRA oils- they'll probably last my lifetime since I''ve majorly reduced my consumption. I also like Mountain Rose Herbs which are faily local to me.
I have a friend pushing YL I hate the business model though, I love Eden’s garden and plant therapy, you can paper check the purity of oils, even my 8oz bottle. Of sun pure lavender passed the test, There are many great oils out there for a fraction of the price. Only thing good about YL imho is to help people look for healthy alternatives.
I literally just spent $100 on YL oils to help my friend meet her quota when I could have bought them for half that at another non mlm company and still had great pure oils
I wish the person that is in Young living that got interviewed just started their own essential oil business they seem like they have a really good work ethic for this type of thing no matter how positive their experiences it doesn’t take away to the fact that the business structure in the company is toxic I wish them the best but outside of the company

I have small business - I make bath bombs and I use essential oils in my recipe. Once under my post I used #essentialoils and 3 girls from Young Living messaged me and said I could order oils from them and use them in my bath bombs, because they are much better than any other oils out there. 😄 I pay around £10 - £15 for 100ml bottle and they sell 5ml for the same price! That is absolutely ridiculous WHY WOULD YOU EVER!!?

If you Google, cosmetic grade essential oils, you should be able to find something good, just do a little research and maybe order few from different brands and see which ones you like the best. So here for this. As a scientist, essential oil companies have always angered me the most. The claims they make are OUTRAGEOUS and yeah YL’s dude was utter trash. They make my blood boil.

Young living Huns will forever baffle me. Someone tried to recruit me once. She drinks essential oils daily, but lost her mind with Colorado legalized MJ (this was a while ago obviously lol) I remember telling her the taxes from the stoners will do more for our state than oil you drink to stay “skinny” ☠️
One more point on your video. You talked about a woman putting lemon drops in her Styrofoam cup. The lemon drops are made from the Rhine not the fruit and all oils are concentrated. Lemon fruit has different composition that the Rhine. No essential oil should be put in anything but glass. A plastic cup will keep the smell of the essential oil for a really long time. Just like if I wanted to use iodine drops it should not be put in anything except for glass!

if you google diffuser and go to the shop tab you can find the 300 dollar young living one, with the little logo, and then the EXACT same diffuser right next to it but its 34 and from amazon.

I have 2 sil who are deep into young living and we live in rural Ireland so it’s not like everyone is knowing about essential oils and diffusers etc and everything is oils toxic free etc and it’s hard to be at family functions as we are a very small family. I have no connection to them and it’s very sad.

So do I just somehow know a lot of people or are the stats a little off. I completely agree that business sucks but idk I’m just confused. Regardless, Awesome video !!

The compensation average amounts are based off all active accounts. Meaning even the members that joined only to get discounts on products for themselves but aren’t trying to sell or build a business are included in that average. Which is probably a lot of ppl. Still you don’t make a lot in the beginning and I’ve never tried to make any money so I don’t know how much you really can get. But The point is to get reoccurring customers to make money off their purchases and what the ppl under them purchase. Yes you get a nice chunk off new members but they never have to sell for you to make money off of them they just have to buy. I joined and I haven’t tried to sell at all I just buy my products on a monthly subscription for the wholesale price and in return get points for free product.
Exactly. This girl is doing nothing but reiterating points anti MLM parrots have said before. I honestly made my first paycheck by accident. I haven't put much effort into selling but this girl makes me want to just to annoy her. She wants to talk negatively about a lot of stuff she doesn't understand. That's a good question. Following!
In my opinion instead of taking general supplements (because a lot of them are scams) take individual vitamins of everything that would be in the supplement. For example, if you’re taking a womens multi supplement, look at the ingredients and see what specific vitamins are in it. Take those individually instead. Generally cheaper in the long run and you’ll be taking a high enough dose to see results, compared to most placebo supplements. I take iron, B12, D3, Biotin, green tea (in pill form), and cranberry extract (in pill form). There’s also ginger, turmeric, collagen, and many other things you could mix and match to work best for you without falling into MLM’s or scammy businesses. More bang for your buck.

I am so glad I came across this video. I was almost going to buy YL product. But I started to look for it’s product when the IG influencer who was talking about endocrine system and usefulness of essential oils for the system. My health background couldn’t digest the fact. You have done an amazing job. Hope everyone sees this and adopt other genuinely low toxic/organic products. 🙏🏻

Young Living is where I discovered essential oils. However, I am no longer with them. Still love oils though!
I understand the problem with YL but there are thousands of studies on pubmed that clearly state that essential oils have healing properties so you are not telling the entire truth.

If you want to ingest essential oils, why not just get some olive, canola or any vegetable oil other on the supermarkets? They're are more affordable that those essential oil and more safer..
You might want to do some research on the health of all the oils you just named from the supermarket. They are not healthy at all

I have been a YL customer for 5 months and I love it I noticed most of the video was about selling whale products which I am not doing but I will say the products that they do have to offer on their website is absolutely wonderful and life-changing for my family. When you walk into a store and you’re looking for laundry detergent or kitchen soap, cancel most of the products that are sold in stores are toxic with harmful ingredients and pretty much just poison for your body anything that you put on your skin within 30 seconds it goes into your bloodstream it’s soaks inside your skin even a lot of the natural brands that called them self natural or that green washing stuff even a lot of those still have harmful chemicals I’ve looked up a lot of the ingredients when it comes to wild products and they are by far better. for me personally I don’t think I’ll sell whale products I clearly understand the reason why you’re so against it and yeah it does kind of make me a little uncomfortable having to talk to a bunch of people just to be able to make a profit but the thing is I’ve used a lot of the wild products so when I tell people about them I’m genuinely telling them because it effectively works for my family. From the laundry soap to the hand soap to the hand sanitizer to the thieves household cleaner even the Nisha read I have definitely felt a difference with a lot of those products on my skin when I ingest them now I personally don’t use the essential oil’s to ingest but I do use them on top of the products to enhance the cleaning boost but that’s why they have the vitality essential oil’s those are the ones that you were able to ingest and they’re not harmful to your body if you and just lime or lemon that’s literally just lemon like you would go to the store and buy the bottles of lemon to put in lemon cakes and stuff like that. The FDA made them put Vitality on there so consumers would know the difference. I mainly shop on there to buy household products and health products that I can testify that actually work I saw a part of your video that said a lot of people were talking about how certain essential cure things I definitely wouldn’t go to that far but they do help. They have ones for anxiety and one to help you when your sick etc they do help. But I won’t say they cure you. It really depends on who you have that gets you on YL.
One thing that can be said is they might be using the same wording that essential oils have in the Metaphysical world. Almost any I've seen in Metaphysical will say things like boosting focus. My opinion they shouldn't use it as a medical benefit.

I have always had a fishy feeling about YL. The concept of a natural essential oil brand depending on customers to basically become their own little sales people is just such a weird idea imo. If the essential oils were so life changing, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't need people to constantly market their products every single day, because great products will always sell through word of mouth.
I also wonder just how pure the oils really are. The "seed of seal" if you search it, is actually a lie.
I honestly think that people should if anything invest their time promoting their own businesses, or atleast one they know 100% about. Spending all day promoting someone else's business isn't going to make you rich, you're just making them rich. It's really sad that so many of them, naive and genuinely hoping to spread a good brand around, is actually just being used by a million dollar company.

I had a "friend" lie to and tell me I had to be enrolled in the ER program BEFORE I could make any money. So, stupid me drank the kool aid and did it. Made $0 and got myself into $1000 worth of debt.
Looking through my eyes you have some points. Let me ask you do you have experience in the MLM company? I have been using YL product for eight years. Do I make money? not much. Do I work at it? not much. But using and learning these products have helped me in a few very difficult times. I just want to say that God and Mother Nature have a place in everyone's life. What do you believe in? I hear a lot of attack and negative in your voice. But I would love to hear more on the fact side....God bless you
I love the ani MLM stuff, I think it's important to put out there, but Jesus Christ, girl, BREATHE. You don't need to speak so quickly. Pace yourself and speak clearly, there's no need to get whole thoughts and sentences out in one breath.

I hate how media is always so fast paced now... like all Disney movies these days. I can’t watch them. It makes me feel frantic.
I changed the speed to .75x on the playback speed option and it was awesome. Highly recommend it, love the speed option in settings.
