*KICKDOWN MACHINE* Ride on NX West Midlands' Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini, 4688 (BU05 HFE)

Here's a ride on a bus that is coming towards the end of its time, you join me on one of National Express West Midlands' few remaining Volvo B7TL Geminis. This is 4688 on route 5 to Sutton Coldfield from West Bromwich showing what an absolute beast it is full of amazing kickdown and a nice sounding voith
Within the past few weeks quite a few of the B7TLs have been withdrawn whilst the arrival of the new BYD E400EVs all entering into service, all the BU53 regs have been withdrawn bar 4523 the only Euro 6 BU53 stays hanging on as the last one for just a little longer, some BJ03s and BX54s have been withdrawn. This also includes these voith example BU05s that will soon see withdrawals occur in the coming weeks
It's a shame the end is near for these, I've enjoyed the little time I've had with them but they have certainly served NXWM very well after 20+ years of service but good thing is most have and more will see new lives elsewhere from Birmingham Busworks
