Don't worry the same thing happened to me. One of my bands ripped while I was taking it off from just being made. It took 3 hours. Now, I'm never touching another bracelet maker in my life.
The final black band you put through all the rest at the end snapped when I was taking it of the loom!!! After some colourful language, and with the use of three hooks, I managed to get all the ends back on a pin before it unravelled. Having made it I think this one is my least favourite type/pattern of loom band bracelet. My current favourite is my own adapted dragon scale pattern. If you use two bands every time instead of one it makes for a tight, collected bracelet. Try it I think you'll be pleased with the end product! :D

A 12 pin Rainbow coloured Dragon scale, Once it was finished it was 6 pins (6-7") wide! :D My 2nd one was a 6 pin Jamaican coloured (Black, Yellow, Green) Dragon scale band, but with a difference. if you double up your bands, the finished product is pulled tighter together, it gets a really nice finish, it does really look good; give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised!! :D Let me know if you try it and tell me want you think! :D

I'm 10 aswell and I have finished making most of them starburst triple single zippy chain ext. but at first I did find it hard to take it off. It just takes practise
Do an 8 across two pegs, then do two more bands across the same pegs as the 8. Pull the bottom ones over, add another band pull bottom one over and continue
o.O I am curious how that was even possible. I doubt the looming caused the infection. If you cut yourself while making this, although that also seems highly unlikely unless you're as clumsy as a clown on acid, than it was your lack of hygiene or lack of taking care of your wound that caused the infection. Don't go slandering shit because you can't follow simple instructions.
