Mr Mufumbira - had no real argument to counter the proposed bill. He went into typical NUP-politicking style & attacked the personality of Hon Lumu, rather than the issue. NUO weakness is in reasoning capacity. They keep making noise & proving that to be the case EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
NUP are an insecure group & very immature as well. Everything they disagree with is personal & about intrigue. They fail to see that not everything is about THEM. This bill is about the nation's entire opposition. But they have concluded that it is about NUP. They should taper down on the street politics & be brave enough to debate their position on the floor of parliament where things are settled.
I doubt NUP would be able to entertain this joker. People of Mityana he represents don’t have hospitals, roads and jobs yet he’s here fronting rubbish.
If you can't run, jog. You can't jog, walk, You can't walk, crawl....just keep moving. HE IS MOVING. Some MPs have never tabled anything AT ALL in parliament. To fail to debate simple issues is a sign of mental incapacity to debate ANYTHING.
@@SB-rw7oq Just as he failed/refused to want a debate about Ssekikubo’s corruption censure motion against his friends. Your argument seems kinda lame. Don’t you think?
@@kderrick1000 Opposing something isn't equivalentl to "failing". Are you saying since he opposed the censure motion, he shouldn't table one of his own? Does it follow it then that he should oppose every subsequent motion moved? What is your point?

@SB-rw7oq Entirely within his right and, so you know - no one’s stopping him but we’re asking, is it his constituent’s priority need, is it in good faith, knowing that he’s been supportive of either service award and just after we saw him complaining about lack of consultation as opposition by the LOP about regional parliament immediately, he’s drafting a bill to have the LOP elected. Don’t you think that he’s overreaching and, reacting on the whims to feed his ego not for the better good of the country. That’s my thought.
I don't see why NUP can not go & table their arguments that demerit the bill... Instead of this cowardice behaviour whereby they make personal attacks at the one that proposed it. IMMATURITY!
But that upc outfit is nolonger the one supposed to be consulted due to court ruling..

Lumu is doing his constitutional work as a member of Parliament of making laws
