June 23rd, 2017, I read that and my eyes are full with tears. The Mass Effect trilogy was so emotionally charged, especially ME3. I'm so sorry Andromeda failed the emotional ride mark badly.
Too many variables. Mass Effect has always been about the choices: people will get hugely mad about whether they pick a Male or Female Shepard to cast, who the Love Interest is, who survives and dies, what Shepard chooses to say or do, and even how it ends. A Mass Effect movie just wouldn't work, but that's my perspective.
azrailyne At the SDCC two years ago the studio said that Shepard in the movie will be male. As far as Paragon vs Renegade I think a mix of both would be best. Personally I think the decision that might be the most controversial is Shepard's love interest. Ethier way your right that the choices they make are bound to make some fans angry.

@@BenjinWS The only other place _I_ can actually find them is under a separate bunch of individual score/soundtrack videos by the channel Video Game Soundtrack Archive. "Cerberus HQ Dropoff" through to "Final Battle With Kai Leng".

Does anyone know if the ambient pieces that play on the Citadel are on here? I've played through different parts and haven't found them. The song that plays in the Holding Area in the Citadel in ME3 is a redone version of the C-Sec Academy music from ME1.
Mech Jr Yeah, the, as I would call it, infamous ME1 C-Sec track is pieced into the credits IIRC and I think either the leaving-earth / sad-conclusion-esque song that they use several times or a citadel track. I forget which has a part of it in it but either way, yeah, they had it in this game. The main citadel music (that plays on the presidium) is the same as the presidium in ME1, right?
UndeadCookieMonster Yeah, I guess some of the songs that Aleks' tracklist mentions are skipped in this video, probably because the tracks are reused songs from earlier games. The Holding Area music in ME3 is one of the tracks that plays in the Wards in ME1, so you can find that song under a different name in uploads of the ME1 soundtrack. Some of the tracks were also unreleased in any official soundtrack but can easily be found on RUclips.
(spoilers) A lot of people complain that Shepard dies in the end but to be honest not only did that not bother me, I expected it and would have felt cheated otherwise. the trilogy spend an enormous amount of energy building the world and characters and raising Shepard to epic status, he/she deserved no less then a martyr's ending. Anything less wouldn't have lived up to everything he/she had built up to.
Shepard dying was literally foreshadowed the entire game, from his dreams to him telling Thane he'd see him soon, what bothered people was the poorly written badly executed ending, this isn't hard to figure out
I love the original ending, no updates. Earth vaporized, everyone dies. Total reset. It was poetic as hell, and it made complete sense to me. I know I'm in the minority with this. I also loved the version with liara's message. Full circle, and very poetic as well. Kinda like 'next time. We'll get 'em next time'.
+Cracked Chalice There is no ending where earth gets vaporized. The original endings includes: Destroy the reapers. Merge with the reapers. Control the reapers.
+bully056 Maybe I didn't pay enough attention when I played the game but only ending like that i can think of is the "do nothing ending" which is an "update ending".
Many people are upset about how ME3 ended, they complain that they put endless hours in the game and all that just so their character will die at the end no matter what choice you make. I would say that it is not so much about the ending as it is about the journey and memories you collected along the way, it was a great journey like no other with memorable experiences like no other game has ever offered. we all die at the end in real life too does that mean everything we do during our lifetime is meaningless? we all know we are going to die at the end that is a 100% certainty, should we be mad about it all the time or should we make the best with the time we have given? What people also forget that the game has a set story line that you have the privilege to play as it's hero, sure you can make certain choices about how the plot develops but overall the general story line remains the same, Reapers lose and the main character dies, the end.
gameexpert133 Oh no, shepard dies. You know, it's bloody amazing to me how everyone bitches about that. No wonder no one ever takes chances in gaming anymore, when you do something rare and shocking and dramatic everyone bitches about it because they didn't get to live their mary sue fantasies. God forbid a game may want to tie up its plotlines without the opportunity to be endlessly dragged on in sequel after sequel like its some Gears clone
No not that people botched cause at realize the endings had no context and had no damn condolences for your actions

This soundtrack is absolutely amazing. I am actually thinking about replaying the game while listening to it, as it is so deep, so beautiful. Long live Mass Effect, I expect nothing less from Andromeda.
with bioware and EA you might wanna lower your expectations for anything other than graphical improvement. oh and same this vid brought on some serious nostalgia
The Mass Effect series are some of the best games I have ever played. I consider ME3 to be one my favourite games ever, despite having and ending that didn´t stand up to the story the games gave us.
Sad it was released half-baked. It lost a lot without some of things that should have been there in the first place but were added as DLCs (improved endings, Leviathan and the one with the farewell before the final mission - Citadel DLC I think).
I just played the legendary edition so i don't know about the cut content but I don't get the hate for the ending of ME3. It was fine to me (played with fem shep, got the destroy ending with shepard surviving)
3:15 "In 2157, humanity discovered it was not alone in the universe. Thirty years later, they found a peaceful place among dozens of galactic species. But this idyllic future is overshadowed by a dark past: Reapers, a sentient race of machines responsible for cleansing the galaxy of all organic life every 50,000 years, are about to return. The leaders of the galaxy are paralyzed by indecision, unable to accept the legend of the Reapers as fact. But one soldier has seen the legend come to life. And now, the fate of the galaxy depends on him/her."
To be honest I absolutely loved the ending. Your choice is the fate of the galaxy and even if nothing tangible comes of the choice, you can use your imagination. Just finished the game and this is now my favourite series of all time.
Without fail, "An End Once and For All" makes me well up a little bit. Remembering the countless hours I spent growing to love these characters, but knowing that this was the end of that journey. The only thing I can even compare it to was the way that I felt when the credits rolled at the end of LoTR. The bittersweet emotion of having experienced something wonderful while also knowing that it was truly over. All these years later, this still gets me.
Even after all these years, 12:07 Leaving Earth still puts chills down my spine. I only played ME as a Paragon. So having the Reapers attack Earth, being told to effectively run away and find help and THEN watch my world burn as I'm running hit me HARD. To this day it is still one of the most dramatic scenes in all media for me.
When The Normandy is leaving earth and the shuttles are getting blown away by that reaper. The music that plays.......... Gets me every time. I stll Tear Up EVERYTIME I hear that. Also at the end sequence of the game. When you choose your ending. So much emtion........... Its 2016 now.. Still feel the same.
Never knew a teardrop could contain such huge moments, mean so much to my real life and could be heavier than entire oceans...Still, still can't forget the single moment that the little boy getting blasted right when you think he was saved, could never get over Mordin's death, yet honored him all the way. Seeing Grunt nod deep down in that cave still kills me whenever I see it and so many more gigantic moments... Thank you bioware for creating this. This series can only be called a masterpiece.
Um, that's like.... every other game. Games in general have soundtracks at the same level with movies - the same composers often make them after all. Ofcourse the nature of the soundtrack will be different, since it's for a game. Mass Effect 2 and 3 have extra awesome soundtracks :D
Naveen Thomas Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Crysis, Killzone, Wind Waker, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, Starbound, Alan Wake, The Wolf Among Us, Planet Explorers, Bioshock Infinite, Beyond Good and Evil, The Stanley Parable, Two Worlds 2. Enjoy :)
Considering how shit most movies are today that isn't saying much. lol. Some pieces off ME are good but a lot is just filler and ambient orchestra that sounds like it's off any typical fantasy hollywood movie. Generic stuff really.
I never understood all the rage with ME3 ending. It is probably one of the best 5 games I've ever played. And the other 2 Mass Effect games are in the top list too.
David Castro Jiménez after played the game with extended ending and watched the original endings, I kinda understood the rage. it felt the endings were truly rushed and each ending was not given any detailed narrative or contexts of whatever happened afterward. it felt totally cheap. glad they released the extended ending.
Leaving Earth is by far my favorite song out of the soundtrack for Mass Effect 3. The power and strength in the song gives me chills, and I find myself closing my eyes as I listen to it. Thanks for uploading this soundtrack.
Lion_Turtle Eh, no, Shepard dying is definitely what bothered me. Even in the 'perfect' ending, I'm not sure he can be considered to have "survived". Probably the only ending where I really would count him as still alive is the one where he took over the Reapers, and in that one, I don't know why it doesn't show him getting back in touch with his tearful love interest, maybe even coming back to them in a body he had the Reapers clone for him.
I played through this wonderful trilogy three times and it was a time of joy, excitement and sadness, of expectation and timelessness. Then in the summer the flood came and a lot was destroyed, including Mass Effect. I was so sad about it that I got it right back and I'm playing it for the fifth time now and it's more suspenseful, exciting and sadder than before. May Shepard be with us!
This game was incredible. It truly did tie in the entire series, and the soundtrack is just astounding. It's so incredibly emotional and reflects both styles of the previous soundtracks while bringing in new feeling and sound. Now if they could only fix the ending... *sigh*
The endings music was so strong i teared up. It sounded so legendary and i have a nice setup around the living room i just had to put the controller down and close my eyes and admire the music. Well done sir, very well done. Thank you.
Just wanted to say thank you uploader for editing together the entire OST in one video and also for adding the still images to go along with the songs, seeing them together with the music makes it even better
Incredible. I played ME1 and about 1/3 of ME2 (best games I've ever played, hands-down), but this (ME3) is easily the most powerful soundtrack of them all. Awe-inspiring. Thanks so much for posting.
Hundreds of playthroughs and literally thousands of hours into this series, and I love it more all the time. The story, the music, the emotion, the characters, all of it. I still to this day continue to unlock new secrets and dialog, but even if I didn't, this is such an enjoyable ride in sci-fi. I remember the very first night I played the third game, and the title "Leaving Earth" started playing and I immediately started crying, realizing just how deep this game became over the years, to me and so many others. It has it's downfalls, but overall this is my favorite gaming series of all time. And yes, the new trailer revealing Liara's face made me tear up just as much. I love that girl...
I gotta say that this game went trought som really bad shit, and by that i mean us fans. I loved this game from the ''get go'' to the finish, Sheperd was a hero, but lets face it, against the universe? ofcource it wouldnt be the ''and all lived happy ever after'' finish. I think it was a great finish even though i cried like a fucking baby at the end after all theese years. Give BIOWARE som credit will you? Loved this btw. thanks :)
Bioware yes, EA.... that's another story, they've tried and tested allot of gamer's patience with the shit they pulled. and I just started looking, ask me and I'll share what I have
Me3 is great especially now in the legendary edition where u have all the dlc come with the package but at launch ea made people pay extra for dlc that was pretty vital to the story (javik and the leviathan). I didn’t play these games back then when they came out I was too young but even now practice like that is pretty scummy practice so it doesn’t surprise me that it got a lot of hate but it should have been directed at ea not BioWare
Garrus' arrival theme (33:06) is short but such an obvious acknowledgement of how big a deal it is to get Garrus back. Few other characters in the series get musically heralded in such a grand way.
When I first beat the game, I shot at the kid hologram because I didn't think anything would happen, but he got pissed and ended all intelligent life :/
I know I am late at the party but i did the exact same thing, resulted in me rage quitting and replaying the whole thing a year later haha so worth it 😊
i dont think they will. And to be honest i was pleased with mass effect 3. Let's be honest if it was a game that would go on for ever and ever we would have got bored to death. A trilogie is the best they could have done! (even if i was shocked at the end of the me3, hahah all died in my first time playing it i was like 0.0! )
Gabrielle Bénard True! I messed up at part 2 and lost everyone. But i didnt like that, so I replayed the whole game (okay, tbh i just did it for Kelly and Garrus...but still!^^).
I listen to this on almost a weekly basis and like others have commented, this series was a big part of my gaming life. It was IMO the Star Wars of this generation. I am looking forward to the next installment.
You will never be forgotten Shepard you saved everyone thts wat people do everyday overseas man I mean I've never had a game tht gives me this many feels it's just so emotional thank you bioware and there actually making a new mass effect it won't be bout Shepard but it's comin
thanks , i was looking for this since i bought the sound track on origin but i was dissapointed they werent in order and not all songs included , so thanks ;)
azrailyne Second and third comes very close to me... but he collector base mission was the best ending hands down to me... so I might actually go with the second, but this one was stil gr8
for me the destroy ending will always be the best, when the song started playing and shepard fired his gun into the conduit thing I said to myself, "this one's for thane, this one's for legion, this one's for all the people you murdered you goddamned soulless bastards"...say what you will about mass effect, for me its the best series I ever played hands down
people say this game was bad but it really wasn't I think it really got people attached to the characters in it and made a lot of people sad at the end, this music is very good also where can I download the full soundtrack? not the shit the was "officially released" that only has a few songs on
I can understand why people were bothered at first, regarding the ending. But after they released the extended cut ending, I think people's complaints were satiated. Easily the best game trilogy of all time.
Thank you very much for this. Brought back so many emotions listening to this. Absolutely love this series and have never felt so connected to characters as with this. Going to have to start another play-through now.
Mass Effect will always be my all time favorite series. The countless hours and emotional investment into the characters and stories makes it seem more than just a video game. It was a real adventure with the greatest crew in the galaxy! The ending did not justify the awesome content of the game--BUT, it is still a beloved franchise. The score opens a flood of emotions, good and bad, and brings back a lot of good memories! I can't wait for the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe!
Imagine in the not too distant future, we are able to travel to the farthest stars and develop relations and friendships with so many alien cultures. Imagine, just for one second, a galaxy where there are dozens of life forms that are just waiting to be discovered. That, my friends, is the vision of Mass Effect.
Playing the trilogy for the 100th time. I'm now on ME3 and while I scan the planets, I'm listening to this. In the same way ppl are afraid George R R Martin doesn't die before releasing the last book, I hope BioWare keeps true to themselves and do not lessen the games they make. They are alone in their style of RPGs in this whole world and I fear the day profit will replace our joy in the games they make.
Well, it's 2020 and George R R Martin hasn't finished the last two books, The Game of thrones tv show ended and the final season was a pile of garbage. Bioware released Mass Effect Andromeda, which isn't that bad, but people don't seem to like it. There are rumors of the Mass Effect trilogy being remastered, but, who knows, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
1:50:32 "Let... go!" "What are you doing?!" "Fulfilling the code." "By throwing your life away?" "I won't kill my last daughter!" "You won't have to..." "Falare?"
I listen to this all the time when playing Multiplayer ME3 :) Have listened it through many times and it is a great compilation of songs. Thank you for sharing it!
Just spent my 4 hour drive listening to the entire thing. I will miss Mass Effect so much but can't wait for a new beginning in Andromeda. Thank you for this'
If nobody has any objections I’d like to create the complete experience by making a video for each of the trilogies scores, DLC included... any takers for that, I’ve already started on Mass Effect 1, it’s already 2hrs long.
A brighter tomorrow gets me every time. Especially tonight, as I sit, staring out the dark window in my bedroom, rain pitter pattering down, over a year into a pandemic, thinking of a brighter tomorrow...
Carlo Martini google search will be a great help in that regard. And if you want to match it with this video at what times each song starts I'm sure Agent Sambora would be glad to include it :P
"We've had a good ride."
"The best."
damn it man those words memories
Gave me fucking goosebumps. Thanks.
I don't want to cry again! Damn you.
VorchaVideos
The harbinger did assume direct control over the sadness at the end of the Game.
An epic end....once and for all
June 23rd, 2017, I read that and my eyes are full with tears. The Mass Effect trilogy was so emotionally charged, especially ME3. I'm so sorry Andromeda failed the emotional ride mark badly.
"Of course..had to be me...someone else might have gotten it wrong. "
Fuck man, I'm about to cry again

No shame in crying here...
Stephen S. Mordin will forever be one of my favorite characters in any format
Why 😭😭
In one line, everything you need to know about Mordin Solus.
400 hours in, on my 5th Shepard and I'm still finding out new things about this game. Incredible series.
Sounds like you like to run through the whole trilogy over and over :). I just wish me1 wasn't so buggy on pc. Absolutely fantastic series, however.
7 months later and I'm 1200 hours in and on my 10th Shepard >
themaypole that's so awesome 0_0 I'm still working on my first play through, but I'll definitely start again right after.
themaypole Well met! Hat tip to you, fellow fan.
I like revisiting this game once a year :)
if this trilogy was a made into movies i would seriously wait outside of the cinema in a tent.
there's a plan to do that. gonna take a long time though
I APPROVE OF THIS PLAN
Too many variables. Mass Effect has always been about the choices: people will get hugely mad about whether they pick a Male or Female Shepard to cast, who the Love Interest is, who survives and dies, what Shepard chooses to say or do, and even how it ends. A Mass Effect movie just wouldn't work, but that's my perspective.
ThunderPsyker Ah true. The male vs. female Shepard as well as the love interest would really blow up. If Shepard is paragon or renegade.
azrailyne At the SDCC two years ago the studio said that Shepard in the movie will be male. As far as Paragon vs Renegade I think a mix of both would be best. Personally I think the decision that might be the most controversial is Shepard's love interest. Ethier way your right that the choices they make are bound to make some fans angry.

What is the track at 2:47:17 really called? I tried searching for "Payback" and I know that it plays at Cronos Station (Cerberus Headquarters), but I can't find it anywhere else.
@@BenjinWS The only other place _I_ can actually find them is under a separate bunch of individual score/soundtrack videos by the channel Video Game Soundtrack Archive. "Cerberus HQ Dropoff" through to "Final Battle With Kai Leng".

Wow that is impressive, thank you very much. Can't believe you took the time to make that.
Does anyone know if the ambient pieces that play on the Citadel are on here? I've played through different parts and haven't found them. The song that plays in the Holding Area in the Citadel in ME3 is a redone version of the C-Sec Academy music from ME1.
"Now what's this?"
UndeadCookieMonster
Yeah, I guess some of the songs that Aleks' tracklist mentions are skipped in this video, probably because the tracks are reused songs from earlier games. The Holding Area music in ME3 is one of the tracks that plays in the Wards in ME1, so you can find that song under a different name in uploads of the ME1 soundtrack. Some of the tracks were also unreleased in any official soundtrack but can easily be found on RUclips.
12:07 is my absolute favorite.
+MrLehi99 Leaving Earth... first song in ME3. Epic.
+MrLehi99 Absolutely. Combines loss with possibility...
+MrLehi99 Omg I love that song, it actually made my cry becuase it is just so emotional ;(.
You sir have good taste in music
+Zeebrah How in the world can you not like this soundtrack. You have no taste in music at all
***** Well it's just your opinion. Let's agree to disagree :)
3:09:13 An End Once And For All
one of my favorites, every time I am listening, I am crying
Likewise
Likewise.
Hello
(spoilers)
A lot of people complain that Shepard dies in the end but to be honest not only did that not bother me, I expected it and would have felt cheated otherwise. the trilogy spend an enormous amount of energy building the world and characters and raising Shepard to epic status, he/she deserved no less then a martyr's ending. Anything less wouldn't have lived up to everything he/she had built up to.
DHF F that and I couldn’t ever control them or let the Geth and EDI die(I worked hard on that quarian/geth peace dammit) so syntheis it was for me
Shepard dying was literally foreshadowed the entire game, from his dreams to him telling Thane he'd see him soon, what bothered people was the poorly written badly executed ending, this isn't hard to figure out
I don't care WHAT shit people say about the game and it's ending, it's music is of the utmost Quality.
The original endings includes:
Destroy the reapers.
Merge with the reapers.
Control the reapers.
Hakeem Lawus I think he means when the PEOPLE on earth get Vaporized.
+bully056 Maybe I didn't pay enough attention when I played the game but only ending like that i can think of is the "do nothing ending" which is an "update ending".
Hakeem Lawus huh, The merge ending was Different for me >.>
Many people are upset about how ME3 ended, they complain that they put endless hours in the game and all that just so their character will die at the end no matter what choice you make.
Still it's messed up how shepard dies like 3 choices wow thx ea :)
gameexpert133 Oh no, shepard dies.
Dick McDonglepants look people bitch because there isn't no good ending
gameexpert133 Oh no, you mean in a game that's all about how you can't save everyone the only endings are shades of grey?! THE AUDACITY OF IT ALL!!!
No not that people botched cause at realize the endings had no context and had no damn condolences for your actions
This soundtrack is absolutely amazing. I am actually thinking about replaying the game while listening to it, as it is so deep, so beautiful. Long live Mass Effect, I expect nothing less from Andromeda.
with bioware and EA you might wanna lower your expectations for anything other than graphical improvement. oh and same this vid brought on some serious nostalgia
sorry man but I don't think it went the way you wanted it to. Did you enjoy MEA though? I'm curious to know
i7fan yes 4 years nostalgia lol wtf???
Lol, so much even for graphical improvement in Andromeda. Bioware as we knew it, is gone.
You won't be. It's amazing.
@@noobemperor5149 the dlc made it much better, but yea theending battle and vanilla ending was so underwhelming.
ME3 is one of the best games I've ever played, the ending is maybe the worst ending to any game I've ever played
Always fucking scrolls way too fast
anyone else feel like crying while listening to this, the end of the greatest series of games ive ever played
2022 here, STILL ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER. Peace!
I nearly teared up when I saw the faces go past at 3:09:22. Such a great tribute to some awesome characters.
To be honest I absolutely loved the ending. Your choice is the fate of the galaxy and even if nothing tangible comes of the choice, you can use your imagination. Just finished the game and this is now my favourite series of all time.
Nathan Romanos well if you want use your imagination then you don't need to buy the game at all
Dr. Thrax i feel sorry for you
Glabusterbaerchen Agreed

Mordin's theme always gets me. "Of Course. Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong." I tear up everytime I play through that part.
Best Videogame Trilogi to me EVER
When The Normandy is leaving earth and the shuttles are getting blown away by that reaper. The music that plays.......... Gets me every time. I stll Tear Up EVERYTIME I hear that. Also at the end sequence of the game. When you choose your ending. So much emtion........... Its 2016 now.. Still feel the same.
2018. Same.
Damn... A game with a soundtrack fitting for a movie. Now that's something!
Um, that's like.... every other game. Games in general have soundtracks at the same level with movies - the same composers often make them after all. Ofcourse the nature of the soundtrack will be different, since it's for a game.
Mass Effect 2 and 3 have extra awesome soundtracks :D
Naveen Thomas
inb4 every game ever made by Nintendo.
Naveen Thomas Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Crysis, Killzone, Wind Waker, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, Starbound, Alan Wake, The Wolf Among Us, Planet Explorers, Bioshock Infinite, Beyond Good and Evil, The Stanley Parable, Two Worlds 2. Enjoy :)
chiffmonkey Thank you for many of those. Take DA Origins and Lineage 2 from me :)
Considering how shit most movies are today that isn't saying much. lol.
Some pieces off ME are good but a lot is just filler and ambient orchestra that sounds like it's off any typical fantasy hollywood movie. Generic stuff really.
I still tear up when i hear this music. Mass effect 3 is and probably will remain my favorite game of all time.
I read the books, and comics alongside the main trilogy. I know what you mean.
God I love that intro. Even the start screen gives the feels.
I never understood all the rage with ME3 ending. It is probably one of the best 5 games I've ever played. And the other 2 Mass Effect games are in the top list too.
You had to have played the original ending before the Extended Cut was realeased. (3/2012-6/2012) You'd understand then.
David Castro Jiménez What are the other games on your list?
***** Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, Ocarina of Time and Mario Galaxy 2
David Castro Jiménez after played the game with extended ending and watched the original endings, I kinda understood the rage. it felt the endings were truly rushed and each ending was not given any detailed narrative or contexts of whatever happened afterward. it felt totally cheap. glad they released the extended ending.
AGREED

“30.1"
Leaving Earth is by far my favorite song out of the soundtrack for Mass Effect 3. The power and strength in the song gives me chills, and I find myself closing my eyes as I listen to it. Thanks for uploading this soundtrack.
Everyone saying that people were angry because Shepard died have it completely wrong. That is not what bothered people at all about the endings.
Lion_Turtle Another thing they seem to have wrong is that there's several endings with several different outcomes where Shepard doesn't die...
Lion_Turtle what really matters is that he (player) save the galaxy
Lion_Turtle I haven't played the game yet. Is it worth me playing it now knowing Shepard dies?
Riki Parks Mass Effect is completely worth it. It's one hell of a story and arguably has some of the best characters in any video game.
Mass effect 3 has the best soundtrack in the series
+Frederick Mass Effect 2 has good soundtrack, but ME 3 has the best. :D
Epic game, epic music, epic story :)
Thank you.
The best game soundtrack ever... So epic, emotional.... simply masterpiece
Just wanted to say thank you uploader for editing together the entire OST in one video and also for adding the still images to go along with the songs, seeing them together with the music makes it even better
The opening song gave me crazy chills. The story is so good up until the end of ME3.
Incredible. I played ME1 and about 1/3 of ME2 (best games I've ever played, hands-down), but this (ME3) is easily the most powerful soundtrack of them all. Awe-inspiring. Thanks so much for posting.
Leaving Earth remains a powerful piece of music that could easily go into any Christopher Nolan movie
Great collection and I love how you put a picture for every song to show (one of the scenes) where it is played.
Officially the best saga of the 2010s. Forever in my mind.
Same here...
So many tears. I'm not afraid to admit I cried like a baby.
I cried too.
1:15:26 Best part of the entire soundtrack... so simple yet outstanding!
10:30 is still my favorite song, but man, what a solid soundtrack. Such good music.
When I first beat the game, I shot at the kid hologram because I didn't think anything would happen, but he got pissed and ended all intelligent life :/
Harbinger is a fickle child at heart.
ME too
I know I am late at the party but i did the exact same thing, resulted in me rage quitting and replaying the whole thing a year later haha so worth it 😊
Me too, another reason this ending is a piece of shit. I t ends abruptly and shittily. fuck these guys for doing that. dope game tho
Shall i give you a towel?
3:09:14 - An end once and for all
oh that melody so good..
medecina ne lechit nas when I romanced Miranda
Thank you for posting this. The seamlessness is striking. The imagery is just right. Not overmuch, not under.
Starting about 2:15:40..........such a sweeping grand theme, just wow.
3:20:20 "And if i die, ill die knowin that i did everything i could to stop you...and i´ll die free" Jane Shepard
Only an idiot would say that. And Shepard not an idiot. The 4th endig is stupid.
One of the Best gaming series I've ever played. Let's hope, they don't screw up Andromeda.
i dont think they will.
+Gabrielle Bénard ME3 was bad because of plot holes, and cut content. not because it ended
they did...
They screwed up Andromeda
I listen to this on almost a weekly basis and like others have commented, this series was a big part of my gaming life. It was IMO the Star Wars of this generation. I am looking forward to the next installment.
You will never be forgotten Shepard you saved everyone thts wat people do everyday overseas man I mean I've never had a game tht gives me this many feels it's just so emotional thank you bioware and there actually making a new mass effect it won't be bout Shepard but it's comin
Leaving earth is such an incredible emotive piece, gets me every time.
Scenes of 2:16 - 2:18 always bring a moment of silence/sadness...
thanks , i was looking for this since i bought the sound track on origin but i was dissapointed they werent in order and not all songs included , so thanks ;)
Damn, I almost replayed the entire game on my head just listening to the soundtrack! Mass Effect is really a mind-blowing game.
I love how you matched the images to the music and storyline. It's a great way to relive it.
The third was definitely my favorite.
azrailyne Second and third comes very close to me... but he collector base mission was the best ending hands down to me... so I might actually go with the second, but this one was stil gr8
Sad Serenade Yeah have to say the ending of the second was SOO tremendously badass
Lol badass is correct
2:51:00
I really appreciate you adding in the scene images, I know editing like that is a pain in the ass
for me the destroy ending will always be the best, when the song started playing and shepard fired his gun into the conduit thing I said to myself, "this one's for thane, this one's for legion, this one's for all the people you murdered you goddamned soulless bastards"...say what you will about mass effect, for me its the best series I ever played hands down
but didt that kill all synthetics? Geth didnt deserve that kind of demise...
Depends. My saint-like paragon Shepard went for control ending.
Because for me Shepard is
Etarnal.
Infinite.
Immortal.
Agent Sambora thank you so much. I go to your channel when I'm in the feels mood.
I prefer to watch it in when I'm in the moods feel. Just my preference.
it makes me cry if i watch XD
1:14:29 - Waiting forever for people to click 'Ready'...
This so much.
One of the best series of the 21st century so far! No kiddin'
people say this game was bad but it really wasn't I think it really got people attached to the characters in it and made a lot of people sad at the end, this music is very good also where can I download the full soundtrack? not the shit the was "officially released" that only has a few songs on
I can understand why people were bothered at first, regarding the ending. But after they released the extended cut ending, I think people's complaints were satiated. Easily the best game trilogy of all time.
The Revolutionist agreed
youtube downloader
The Revolutionist couldn't agree more
The Revolutionist >best game trilogy of all time
>not metroid prime
This is a beautiful compilation. You included damn near every song. Thanks so much for this.
1:08 the most epic character creation music
Thank you very much for this. Brought back so many emotions listening to this. Absolutely love this series and have never felt so connected to characters as with this. Going to have to start another play-through now.
The feels
Mass Effect will always be my all time favorite series. The countless hours and emotional investment into the characters and stories makes it seem more than just a video game. It was a real adventure with the greatest crew in the galaxy! The ending did not justify the awesome content of the game--BUT, it is still a beloved franchise. The score opens a flood of emotions, good and bad, and brings back a lot of good memories! I can't wait for the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe!
TRUTH
Imagine in the not too distant future, we are able to travel to the farthest stars and develop relations and friendships with so many alien cultures. Imagine, just for one second, a galaxy where there are dozens of life forms that are just waiting to be discovered. That, my friends, is the vision of Mass Effect.
Music is one of the reasons why this game series is so special.
It's like Mass Effect retold in 3 and a half hours in the most beautiful way possible.
Such a great soundtrack!
1:50:32
"Let... go!"
"What are you doing?!"
"Fulfilling the code."
"By throwing your life away?"
"I won't kill my last daughter!"
"You won't have to..."
"Falare?"
"I stay here...Home...No matter what become of it."
oh gosh 3:09:22, so many manly tears are being shed right now
That's a really beautiful piece..music for ME3 was exceptional.
Thanks Agent, I listen to it at work. It helps me stay calm.
Bioware really need to make a Definitive version of the Mass effect trilogy for next gen console's
I listen to this all the time when playing Multiplayer ME3 :)
Have listened it through many times and it is a great compilation of songs. Thank you for sharing it!
I like 14:02 (Mars) most... probably because it reminds me of ME1.
Wow... that was epic!! I could visualize the entire game through out the soundtrack. That left my mind in awe.
Great soundtrack!!
Mass Effect = best music in video game history
Star Wars = best music in movie history
Imho
Sci-fi is the shit
reptilus89 doom 4 has the best music too: it's just a different genre. Both beautiful in their own way
About best movie soundtracks, Lord of the Rings begs to differ.
Just spent my 4 hour drive listening to the entire thing. I will miss Mass Effect so much but can't wait for a new beginning in Andromeda. Thank you for this'
Claire Brown No problem. Look for the 'Music of Mass Effect: Andromeda (Complete score) out soon 😉
3:01:30 best part ^^
Must have been very hard to compose the next 20 seconds.
Fantastic work. Love this. It's amazing how just music can bring up so many emotions. Thank you for your work.
I don't give a damn what anyone says. I love Mass Effect 3. An epic, climatic ending not just for the story of Shepard, but the story of humanity!
The music in this game is outstanding! the sound effects atmospheres and verbs as wel
3:04:31
"We did it..."
I love the music of Mass Effect! It takes your mind into a deep and transpiring place and I love it! A very unique soundtrack one of my favorites
The description doesn't list the tracks past number 4.
I don't have time to do it. If anyone that does would like to pm me the list, go for it!
+Agent Sambora It's too immersive a soundtrack to bother you for the playlist!! Too much awesome!!!!
+soundslave that does suck, but listening to the music somehow makes it ok
After 2 years, you still haven't done anything.
The very definition of half-assing something
Listen too the entire track while playing Lol ty for uploading :)
Hey Agent Sambora, can we get a full track list please?
Don't have time for that, there are way too many tracks... Sorry.
Carlo Martini google search will be a great help in that regard. And if you want to match it with this video at what times each song starts I'm sure Agent Sambora would be glad to include it :P
Thanks for posting the complete OST in one video!
*thumbs up*
