still listening in 2022 ,this was one of the best combinations between bigroom & trance & progressive house , the 2015 AVB was on fire
I don't get why people keep complaining that he's not playing pure trance, that he's playing mainstream music ... ASOT is taking place today at Ultra, what was he supposed to do, play twice the same set in two day ? It seems reasonable that he would do a more mainstream set for the mainstage and keep the trance for ASOT. At least his set has some trance vibe and you can tell that he put some work into it (Can't say the same for Tiesto).
AND if you want trance why don't you listen to Gaia ? Playing as Gaia allows him to keep playing trance while exploring other musicals genre as Armin.

I think the whole issue here is what you just said, "if you want trance listen to Gaia". It's like saying , if you want trance don't listen to Armin Van Buuren which is what the complaining is about given Armin Van Buurens career has been about Trance. Also he could easily play a set of Trance on Sat and a completely different set of Trance Sunday. Saying he couldn't is saying he only has 1 hour with of Trance music in his library.
Let him play what he likes but.... don't call it ASOT please!

I didn't, I said that his set had "trance vibes" =) English is not my first language so i didn't really know how to put it differently.
Love the big room trance Armin keep it up, we like to hear different stuff!!! True fans will stick by you even if you played metal or hip hop in your sets.

It's sad that every year Armin's sets are sounding more and more Pop EDM like, instead of beautiful, energy, melodic and deep Trance, as I was used to. Sure, there are people, who likes this... But there's also bunch of people dissapointed by this new trend.

Well,this is UMF where crowd is more into mainstream music...just because he played one set of this doesn't mean he is changing his direction...if u listened his set from mainstage 2 in Utrecht you will never said that...it's just the way dance industry is going these days...this is like big theater to promote new music for mainstream crowd in 1 hour,nothing more

You know one of the things I absolutely love about Armin van Buuren is that I can see the passion in his face every single time he performs. He is thoroughly enjoying every minute of his time on stage doing what he loves. I'm sorry but I don't feel that genuine passion from every single person who performs at Ultra, there's only a few who I feel/see such passion from when they perform. I know he probably won't see this comment, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR PERFORMANCES ARMIN, PLEASE COME TO NORTH CAROLINA!!!

People like Hardwell might be voted for no1 in djmag100 and i won't deny that i did actualy vote for him , but there's a point that you can't avoid falling for music like this ...Songs like shelter , forever - sound of the drums mashup, shivers , exploration of space , etc , pure amazing trance in general...Hope Armin gets voted for top1 once again sometime , though not many people give a *** about djmag anyways. I also want armin to be the only best dj in the industry but Hardwell mixes better he makes better mashups, im huge fan of trance djs like armin, paul van dyk, atb, but i never heard anything like hardwell mashups 4 songs into one. And now other djs like armin, dvlm, garrix, doing the same thing, armin is god of music for sure. But sometimes you gotta learn from fresh minds like hardwell.

Но я живу в России и на острове Сахалин, конечно у нас далеко не Москва и Майями и почему то грустно уверен что Armin ни когда к нам не приедет.Звезда такой величины и на острове о котором может совсем и не слышал. Да,вот это была бы " транс бомба" огромной величины если бы приехал !!! Но у нас в России говорят,мечтать не вредно. Armin успеха и приносите много радости людям.Спасибо.

Сувал всем диски их 2 было у меня а мне все говарили дуру не гони! Что за лажа!? А я им всем сказал когда пришлю вам фото(тогда о видео не было такого представлен) вы скажите ни хуя ему повезло! А ведь тогда подал подал сигнал ляпнул желаемое за действительно е! И тут 11год Питер он Армин я там и кидаю им почти сука всем видео с концерта, потом Амстердам сенсейшен один из его самых крутых сетов год 12! И почти все по разному признали его, меня и что желание настоящие сильнее многих вещей!

For the Mainstage, where most of the Sets include Progressive and Electro House, this Set was perfect, a really nice Mixture of Trance and "Bigroom" House.
He presented his "old" Trance Style at the ASOT Stage whpre the oeople come to hear Trance, and I mean really Trance, not this "Trance" from his Mainstage Set here.
So please, shut up and stop hating, because this was the best for the Mainstage crowd, where most of the people want bigroom drops (look at the crowds reaction)
