I just popped over from a Michael Romeo video, and I really just appreciate how in-depth you teach the solo. You don't skip over important details, and you make it really clear. Great work.
What a coincidence. This is the album that got me into metal. I haven't listened to it in a few years. I decided to randomly listen to it from front to back last night. Crazy man. Nice video!
Garret, you should be proud or yourself. You are uploading quality material in a way not so many people is doing it. I mean, this video for instance is by far the best executed solo for this song, and that is something very hard to accomplish nowadays. Keep doing it, you are very good guitar player and an excellent teacher. Hug from Argentina
Awesome cover! I'm working on learning it myself and this video is a huge help! Only thing I noticed is the part from 3:43 - 4:58, even though it sounds correct, Olof plays this differently from watching videos of him play it live, but I can't quite make out how he plays it.
Great video and solo! But i noticed the song is in Eb standard and the solo as you show is good but suited for a C standard... any insights on that? Thanks!
ruclips.net/video/9eADQ-Id2z4/видео.html take a look at the guitarist playing the 2nd to last note in this song (C#) on the first fret of the lowest string. That tells me the tuning is C standard. In Eb, sure you could play the higher octave but it wouldn't sound as precise to my ears.
what would be very interesting (for me anyway) would be to see a video where you explain different pedals and effects. I got a Boss GT-10 and frankly it's hard for a begginer to find his/her sound at first :p
So I seem to have some issue where you release the bend on the e string 8th fret at 2:39, when i do it, my ring finger catches the G string on the way down and it strums it.
Ooh ok. Kinda tricky to get the first few times, never thought I could take advantage of tapping that fret, that being while at the same time, muting the G string. I Should of thought a bit more critically there lol.
Thanks for watching! Hope you guys are enjoying the series! Don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss out on these lessons :D
Dude, Olof, the guitar player from Amaranthe itself, just linked this with kudos! Amazing. I'm impressed!

Great vid! What string gauges do you use here on C standard?
Great video and solo! But i noticed the song is in Eb standard and the solo as you show is good but suited for a C standard... any insights on that? Thanks!
I'm fairly positive the tuning is C standard for the song. What makes you think the song is in Eb standard?

Awesome lesson! Very helpful. Any chance you can share the backing track?
All my friends hate me for liking "pop-metal", the fact that you like it is just awesome.
Hahah I love it :D
Amazing 🤘🏻😝😍
You should do the Sky Is Mine solo by Amorphis!
Totally amazing band :-)
Loved this! can you also do the one from "Burn with me"?

yeahhhhhh very great job !!!! where you find the backing track ?
Hey thanks bud. I made the backing track myself :)
@@GarrettJPetersare you able to send the backtrack ? :)
Hey I've been wondering if you could teach me the Zyra solo from ARAM keep up the good work!
Can you do the solo of Two Weeks by All That Remains for Oli?
This is a very good lesson..love that tone from your Guitar. Are you using a multi effects processor?

Do you plan on realsing any GP5 tabs for your lessons? :)
There are tabs for the bodom licks pack, but for these I figured that me explaining it and showing such a close up view should be enough?
@@GarrettJPeters it was more like an "offline" solution to learn it quicker :p

Yea mine did that there too. What we should be doing is muting the G string with our right hand as the string releases the bend :)
Ooh ok.

Tabs we need tabs Ur awesome
