I think guard cat’s role in 4 star is also important to mention since his main competition in his relic matchup, slapsticks and superfeline, aren’t available. And while chill cat is still available as competition for his alien matchup, he requires less investment and is cheaper and more viable on mixed stages than chill.
Pretty much all Relic enemies in UL 4 crown gets cooked by legend true forms (Naala, Luza, Doron, Yulala, Hermit) especially when Idi is also an option for big melee burst. I still don’t find much practical usage besides situational stages where you can stack Royal Guard or have him survive on the field for longer like RoO. Alien matchup is definitely his stronger suit since he is about as good as Chill with less investment, trading burst for better movement speed.
7:00 Lasvoss jumpscare 😱 (slightly unrelated but another slightly cool thing I found about Royal Guard is that he's can be useful for chaining down Ursamajor, especially when you need to slip in extra damage for Bahamut to knock Ursa back. Nothing huge and still very niche, but hey I found some use for it in Glass Slippers.)
Also, his matchup against cyber face is funny, because he slightly outranges him, and the wave immunity makes it very easy to beat him without critical attacks
Now with the Alien targetting, does it mean he can bully Puffsley's Comet as well? If so, then it'd be a great choice for when Mightycat's TF finally drops somewhere in the future.
@@eskreskaoIf you can get puffsley to the base, then he'll be stunlocked, although outside of that, puffsley has too much range to get juggled. He still helps for the pengs and other aliens so he's still worth bringing to the stage.

Wait- so what’s the difference between rapid melee attacks and rapid backliner attacks? I saw that rapid melee attacks are terrible, but it’s alright for backliner like Ururun. It’s the dps that really matters, right? Some units can still dish out the same damage but be way worse because they attack faster?
Rapid melee attacks is bad on melee because in order to land high damage, the unit has to be sustained on the field for a longer time which is harder to do on a melee unit since most melee units are not easy to sustain because of how Battle Cats is designed with extremely high damage enemies that rip apart anything that gets outranged. This is why big damage is preferred, and why units such as Lasvoss are insanely broken even if their DPS is subpar. Rapid attacks are fine on ranged units because they are meant to be more sustainable. This is why when offense is measured for units, backliners tend to put emphasis on DPS stats whereas melee such as Yukimura focus on their damage per hit. Melee units that attack rapidly are a contradiction to their archetype.
@@XskullDrSkull so if a melee unit who attacks slower gets through, let’s say 2 bursts of damage, and a melee unit of the same dps such as giraffe cat just attacks really quick, the one that attacks slower gets more damage done because they got through a huge chunk of damage instead of slowly chipping away at the enemy?
@@cl0_ŌþIm just gonna chip in my two cents here but if both units have the same hp then of course the burst damage one is better because melee units tend to die fast. Say the units in your example is fighting something that two shots them, the burst damage lands it’s first hit, gets hit and kB, lands the second hit dies. Now lets say your other unit needs 5 hits to match one burst hit of the other, it gets in range lands 3-4 hits, gets KB, lands another 3-4 hits and dies. The burst damage melee unit did more damage overall
Anything with Nimoy Bore or stages where you can utilize his kit such as Zero Luza where he can stay on the field for a bit longer and get some damage or use him on stages where you stack him like against Oldhorn. This unit revolves around either staying alive or stacking to create burst.
Kasli the Bane is a very powerful unit when it comes to stats. The combination of high health and 5 knockbacks leads to her staying alive for a long time when summoned. Thanks to the powerful Surge, she is also able to deliver high and consistent damage to midrangers and backliners, such as Le'noir and R.Ost, while also intercepting incoming peons and keeping enemies that are extremely easy to knockback at bay, such as Gory variants, Brollow, Rain D. and Mr. Puffington. Lastly, she can even be used for "base trapping": if you have her hit a base and trigger a boss wave, her Surge will instantly hit and severely cripple anything that comes out, sometimes making a massive difference. Just remember that due to her blindspot and most of her damage being concentrated in the surge, she will not perform too well against Zombies, short ranged pushers like Bore or One Horn, as well as surge-immune enemies. However, a tanky unit can cover her blind spot, making her usage even more viable. Damage isn't all she has though: her Curse ability lets her disable enemies' Knockback, Slow, Freeze, Weaken, Warp, Curse, Dodge Attack and Toxic abilities. Since it has good uptime, this makes her even more useful against enemies with annoying abilities like Super Metal Hippoe, Li'l Doge, Crazed Axe Cat, Henry, Winged Pigge, Gobble, Heavenly Herald Papuu, Bakoo and all Relics. There are, however, rare instances in which her Curse ability can be counterproductive, such as against some units with Warp, who would become unable to warp any attackers they reach to safety. This is most notable against Final Boss Giga God. Her immunities to Wave Attacks, Warp, Curse, Weaken and Surges further help her with the threat posed by such abilities, especially in Uncanny Legends, Cats of the Cosmos and The Aku Realms where they are prominently active. Overall, she's an extremely powerful unit that holds her edge all the way into the endgame and has almost no drawbacks.
Normal Form Phono's normal form has an immense amount of DPS for their range and is decently stackable as well, giving them usage all across the game. Against Traitless enemies, this unit is not recommended, as their DPS is very low without the massive damage effect. Phono's LD ability contributes to their effectiveness on the battlefield as well: they have an immense reach of up to 600 range, which gives them very good area denial and piercing range for their standing range. This makes Phono one of the only spammable units that is able to snipe backliners, a very valuable role. Overall, a very surprising normal form, as the other UBERFEST exclusives do not necessarily have a useful one. Evolved Form In their evolved form, Phonoa has much longer reach, higher DPS and better survivability than the normal form in exchange for spammability. Phonoa's standing range is immense, at 600. This is the same standing range as Radiant Aphrodite. The average DPS for a backliner with range/reach around Aphrodite's is approximately 3.4k, but Phonoa blows this out of the water with a whopping 11.3k effective DPS, effective from ranges 450-800. If this wasn't enough, they also have an immense 5.6k effective DPS from ranges 800-1000 and 250-450. This means they can reach up to 1000 range with more than 5.2k average DPS, almost double Aphrodite's. In addition, they also have Wave/Surge immunity, giving them relevance in newer stages and endgame, as well as a small range of 590-600 in which their full power of 17k DPS is unleashed. Of course, they do have some weaknesses. Being an UBERFEST exclusive, they are ineffective against Traitless enemies, with below average DPS against them even for their range. They are very vulnerable to Curse, which minimizes their DPS. Their health is also not great, but their range is so high that they have a tendency to stay alive for a long time. Their full 17k DPS is very dependent on RNG whether or not it becomes active due to Phonoa's high speed which causes them to clip past range 590-600. However, all of these are not massive flaws and can be worked around. Overall, if you pull this unit, consider a massive chunk of the game done.
This cube cured my mortality All the people here who bought this wireless tungsten cube to admire its surreal heft have precisely the wrong mindset. I, in my exalted wisdom and unbridled ambition, bought this cube to become fully accustomed to the intensity of its density, to make its weight bearable and in fact normal to me, so that all the world around me may fade into a fluffy arena of gravitational inconsequence. And it has worked, to profound success. I have carried the tungsten with me, have grown attached to the downward pull of its small form, its desire to be one with the floor. This force has become so normal to me that lifting any other object now feels like lifting cotton candy, or a fluffy pillow. Big burly manly men who pump iron now seem to me as little children who raise mere aluminum. I can hardly remember the days before I became a man of tungsten. But a man who has a tungsten cube can bear any object less dense, and all this talk of why and how becomes unnecessary. Schopenhauer once said that every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world. Tungsten expands the limits of a man’s field of vision by showing him an example of increased density, in comparison to which the everyday objects to which he was formerly accustomed gain a light and airy quality. Who can lament the tragedy of life, when surrounded by such lightweight objects? Who can cry in a world of styrofoam and cushions? Have you yet understood? This is no ordinary metal. In this metal is the alchemical potential to transform your world, by transforming your expectations. Those who have not yet held the cube in their hands and mouths will not understand, for they still live in a world of normal density, like Plato’s cave dwellers. Those who have opened their mind to the density of tungsten will shift their expectations of weight and density accordingly. To give this cube a rating of anything less than five stars would be to condemn life itself. Who am I, as a mere mortal, to judge the most compact of all affordable materials? No. I say gratefully to whichever grand being may have created this universe: good job on the tungsten. It sure is dense. I sit here with my tungsten cube, transcendent above death itself. There is no way he is D tier, he is either A or S especially for 4 crown stages, his wave immunity also makes him a beast against wave enemies in 4 crown stages since supercat is a trash wave blocker and also really good against koronium
Koronium counter is actually kinda interesting but for 4 crown he still has the same flaw in that Chill/ UL legends cover his usage by default and he is only used as an alternative or if the stage setup is in his favor.

ok no.... if you rank him on his own then yes but with an actual squad he helps them to actually destroy... seriously he went from mehh to amazeballs when in an actual lineup
The setup you need for him to work is too harsh since he is very cash draining (especially with combos) and needs either time or stack in order to burst big damage vs Alien or Relic. His alternatives are easier to use across more situations though Royal Guard can still shine when everything is set in place.
Even with true form I’d still say Rock is better. He is fundamentally broken as a unit being a meatshield that can hold off any enemy in the game for a few seconds. He is immune to everything, rushes into the frontline almost instantly, has unique mechanics that make him good for niche strats while also being quite possibly the most versatile unit in the game since there is basically no stage where Rock does not work. He’s like Manic Eraser, but better in many ways. Canned Juice made a video over why Rock is the best unit in the game and it’s completely valid to say Rock is at least the best advent unit.
Canned Juice made it clear that “best cat” depends on perspective. If best cat for you is pure hard carry, then yes Dasli/ Balrog/ Uril would be units who shift the game balance the hardest out of any unit. If best for you is pure versatility, then Rock is definitely one of the most widely usable units and can be used anywhere in the game.

How is slime not #1, ignoring true form of course.
@@XskullDrSkullcanned juices video was absolute bs there's no way rock is better than dasli, phono and courier who are absolute meta changers
@@XskullDrSkull Well I guess time to wait for 13.7 when rock get his true form which somehow makes him even more broken.
@@Veesauce123I don’t think you know just how much of a meta changer rock is…
Canned Juice made it clear that “best cat” depends on perspective.
If best cat for you is pure hard carry, then yes Dasli/ Balrog/ Uril would be units who shift the game balance the hardest out of any unit.
If best for you is pure versatility, then Rock is definitely one of the most widely usable units and can be used anywhere in the game.
Breaking news: Britain is now officially better than Russia due to silly game The Battle Cats. Russia's economy plummets and the British are being annoying on social media about their "supreme victory". Rhino population drops to zero.
I fell like a good buff for him whould have been barrier breaker or aku targeting instead of aliens
Alien is pretty nice, Aku would’ve been a mistake because most of them shred the frontline.
@@XskullDrSkull I forgot about that I'm not very experienced with the aku trait yet
