I built some planters like that with cheap decking boards a few years ago. I occasionally need to move them to clean the block paving, so I installed sturdy castors that have two locks on to stop them moving. I planted daffodils in, and later I put annuals in. I painted mine with Johnstones garden paint, in my opinion is the best garden paint out there, I tried the majority of paint/stain at that price but this lasts years.
i built something similar to this without legs which was 3.5m long and 1.25m wide, its been in my garden for over 6 years and looks the same as when i made it and gave it its first lick of paint
Hi Mark, Good looking and a solid build, thick timber that will last a long time. What screws did you use on the build. This has giving me a idea to make for next spring I've got some timber also wood preserver, and gets some Daffodils in. As always a great video ,catch you next Thursday evening with Rob on Shed Space, Take care mate😀👍
